The last book I read: Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid
Going in I didn't know what to expect but I actually liked it so much! It made me cry multiple times and the tuna melt made me so upset but I loved it! So obsessed with how much Ilya loves Shane's freckles and I will love Rose forever
A book I'd recommend: This is how you lose the time war by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
It is such a beautiful book. It literally felt like poetry when I was reading it. Red and Blue mean so much to me and I just in general loved that they were on opposite sides but communicating through letters, the ending made me cry so hard but I need everyone to read this book. I have never read another book like this since, it's right up there with how much I loved Cinderella is dead
A book I couldn't put down: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Genuinely every time I was like I'm going to stop now she would end a chapter that would make me gasp or be like oh I can't stop here. It was just so good! I genuinely could not stop reading it and I read it so fast too. I probably stayed up until midnight on multiple nights reading it. It made me cry many times, made me angry a couple but I loved it very much.

a book on my tbr: Far cry Absolution
I am just an overall fan of the Far cry games, so I absolutely need to read this book. I think it's about everything prior to the events of Far Cry 5 which I am very curious about. So I absolutely need to get to that but my tbr is also incredibly long so idk when that is gonna happen
A book I've put down: The Edge of Everywhen by A.S. Mackey
This book pissed me off so badly. The premise is good, like I was drawn in by the fact there was an autistic character and the way it was described in the blurb reminded me of Narnia so I went into thinking it was gonna be good. It was not! The fact that the reviews on this were positive pissed me off too but they basically 'healed' the little brother's autism. They acted like it was something bad or wrong and it was like are you kidding me because they could've delved into the fact that these two kids were grieving the deaths of their parents and needed each other but they absolutely did not do that. I didn't even get halfway through. I read this when I was in New Zealand and it still pissed me off! It was such a waste of my time and I could not bring myself to finish it. I just knew from other reviews that were actually negative on it that it was going to get worse, like why are you suddenly making someone verbal when they have been non-verbal their whole lives. Ugh.
A book on my wishlist: Underworld by Oliver Bowden
I just really like the Assassin's Creed novels and this is definitely one of the ones I wanna read. It's about Edward Kenway so ofc I wanna read about him.
a non-fiction book i own: Lazarus Rises (Amongst other things) by Berklie Novak
This is a poetry book and I actually love it so much. It honestly helped me with my own grief and it is beautifully written. It honestly is right up there among my favourites. It isn't a particularly long book by my standards but it is good
What I'm currently reading: Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros but also The Long Game by Rachel Reid
Fourth Wing ended on a crazy plot twist so I needed to jump into the next one also Heated Rivalry made me fall in love with Shane and Ilya so much that I knew I had to read that one next. So far I am enjoying Iron Flame, so much is going on for that atm and as for The Long Game I am still in the beginning for it.
What I plan on reading next: Sunrise on the reaping by Suzanne Collins
I did start it but I unfortunately got distracted, I need to jump back into it which is more than likely to happen after Iron Flame. I am really curious about it though and I keep hearing stuff so I know it is gonna make me very sad but that is the general vibe for what I read so lmao

I keep seeing people put accommodations for people with epilepsy on the same level as sensory accommodations for autism and like... no??? Obviously both are important but epilepsy can kill people, SUDEP is a thing. If you expose someone with photosensitive epilepsy to strobing lights they could suffer permanent brain damage or die. Epilepsy is a condition with physical, sometimes deadly consequences. I'm not sure how many different ways I need to say this before it sticks, but epileptic seizures are physical neurological phenomena that can cause lasting neurological damage or death. Epilepsy can kill you. You can die from epilepsy.
