We recently started a #monthlyartchallenge at work. The random theme was #superhero and I thought that there's no bigger superhero that those grand matriarchs that hold all the fam together through generations!👵🏻 After I did it I realised that it looked a little like #baymax 😑 so I might go back to it sometime in the future, but as a lunchtime illustration I'm happy to leave it as it is right now 😋

"It was a #long war... probably the longest our realm has endured... it was so bloody that even the sky turned red!" the somber tone of the seer's voice filled the room "It is even said that one day Death itself, after looking over his handywork, cursed Greed for forcing his hand in this way... and in that same battlefield the Reaper vowed to one day catch up to Greed and end its reign over this land, once and for all"

"Many seeked help in other kingdoms, in hopes they would help bring the conflict to a halt, so peace could be restored once again" The man took a deep breath, and with disappointment coming out of his mouth, he continued his tale. "But even the rulers of all the #underwaterkingdoms, who prided themseves in their power and influence, rejected them out of fear of the war spilling over their precious realm

"The reason behind this conflict, were the kings and leaders that had been poisoning for ages the hearts and minds of their people, making them blind with rage and turn against each other," said the old man with a sad tone in his voice, "and this #poison kept on spreading like wildfire..."

"Like the time of the Great War," continued the seer, "in the blink of an eye, once great allies now stood #divided and battling each other for supremacy"

As several figures stood in the darkness, the old seer started to speak. “This world of ours is prone to #swift changes, my young seeker…”

Happy Star Wars day to y'all!! I decided to do a little redesign of one of my favourite characters of the expanded universe: Kyle Katarn. Man did I love those Jedi Knight games... sad that was scrapped from Rogue One, but still enjoyed that movie though :)
