I was looking through the tag to block a bunch of anti endos and so many would have it in their names, or I’ve seen ones that make it their entire blog that they hate endos

because endos are ableist... it's like if someone made a blog dedicated to hating racists. that makes sense, right? same thing with anti-endos. it's always valid to hate ableism and ableists.

Hi, traumagenic DID system here. You're going to have to explain why endogenic systems inherently fall under ableism. And also why endogenic systems, a community of people who share a specific experience, are comparable to.. racists.

If these blogs were genuinely about hating ableists, then the blogs would be about hating ableism, not dedicated to hating a small community of people, many of which are disabled and experience ableism themselves. And they certainly wouldn't also be dedicated to hating any traumagenic system, trauma survivor, or person with a CDD, who doesn't fit their expectations - which is something we have personally experienced ableism from, and been attacked over, by these very blogs.

The existence of endogenic and non-traumagenic plurality isn't ableist. They are experiences in line with how mental disorders are defined.

There are ableist people who are also endogenic systems, just as there are also ableist people who are traumagenic systems. Ableism is an overall issue, not something specific to endogenic systems.

Ableism is defined as:

The discrimination of and social prejudice against people with disabilities based on the belief that typical abilities are superior. At its heart, ableism is rooted in the assumption that disabled people require ‘fixing’ and defines people by their disability.

A set of beliefs or practices that devalue and discriminate against people with physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities and often rests on the assumption that disabled people need to be ‘fixed’ in one form or the other.

Discrimination or prejudice against individuals with disabilities

Discrimination and social prejudice against physically or mentally disabled people. Ableism characterizes people as they are defined by their disabilities and also classifies disabled people as being inferior to non-disabled people.

A word for unfairly favouring non-disabled people. Ableism means prioritising the needs of non-disabled people. In an ableist society, it’s assumed that the “normal” way to live is as a non-disabled person. 

The existence of endogenic systems doesn't come under the definition of "ableism". Instead, much of what's said against endogenic systems does fall under "discrimination" and "sanism"

The act, practice, or an instance of unfairly treating a person or group differently from other people or groups on a class or categorical basis

Sanism (also called mentalism or neuro-discrimination) is prejudice plus power; anyone of any neurological condition can have/exhibit neurocognitive-based prejudice, but in North America (and globally), neurotypical people have the institutional power, therefore Sanism is a systematized discrimination, antagonism, or exclusion directed against neurodivergent people based on the belief that neurotypical cognition is superior. 

Not to mention, quite a lot of what's said against endogenic systems also falls under ableism. For example, the common anti-endo claim that endogenic systems are fake because they're delusional is ableism. It's both suggesting that folks with delusions are 'less than', as well as intentionally misinterpreting the meaning of 'delusion'.

Delusion has always been a central topic for psychiatric research with regard to etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and forensic
