Hello there, I think it’s time to introduce myself ✨

My name is Sophie (actually my second name, but I prefer this one over my first name) and I am 22 years old. I‘m currently doing my bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering and work part time at a small café

•I‘m very much in love with the neighborhood’s stray cats and currently trying to befriend them (aka bribing them with salmon snacks.)

•I also like swimming, reading cliché romance novels, crocheting and art.

•I‘d describe myself as a quite sensitive and creative person, but I also love the structure and logic behind science, that’s why I chose this field of study.

First of all the current situation: I'm starting my third semester in Medical Engineering next month in a town very far from my hometown. I'm not a very social person and the only friend I had in this town decided to move away a few months ago. I think the main reason why I want to change is because I'm lonely and homesick, I miss my old friends who all study in the same area.

At the same time I've always been torn between studying biology or engineering and now I'm thinking biology might be a better fit. That would also allow me to move back home.

It's not that I don't like engineering, I enjoy maths and I would definitely be able to finish this degree with good grades.

I'd love to talk to you about this, about what made you change and when you knew it would be the right decision

My thesis advisor was a serial murderer. I found this out after seeing her cut open her husband’s dead body. She then tried to kill me because I was the only one who knew her secret. When I went to the chair of the department, the only thing they did was have me fill out paperwork to drop out of the program because they wouldn’t let her advise me anymore.

I’m from Germany, so I don’t know how much I can help you, but I’m willing to try.

The cheapest option was 90€, the most expensive ones went up to 200€+ (those were like VIP tickets I think)

The time limit was 15 minutes but I assure you that will be enough time, once you’re on the site and choose your ticket.

I think it’s smoother than the process for the eras tour, but the site did not work perfectly. I wanted the cheapest ticket option and the first two or three times I was told they weren’t available, I just kept trying and it kind of just worked? So if the ticket portal tells you something is not available right now I would advise you to try for it again several times.
