Haven’t posted in a while
Quick update: put on a lot of the weight I had lost. Heading back to the gym 2-4 times a week. So hopefully put a halt to the weight gain and put it in reverse.
Quick question: over head shoulder press, is there like a target to aim for in relation to other strength exercises?
Like say you bench press 50, should you be expecting your overhead shoulder press to be at most 10, 20, 30? Like a ratio of 1:3 or something?
The reason I ask is that my shoulder press seems very weak, but my other strength exercises are pretty weak too, so wondering if there was a ratio or goal to aim for that might take some pressure off my over head shoulder press.

Thoughts on the new fitbits?
I kind of like the sound of the water resistant to 50 meters part, not that I go swimming often but means I can be less careful around water, like doing the dishes :D
And some of the features like contactless pay, music playing etc
Anyone got a charge 3 or versa?
Firstly, joined a gym. Now I can’t use it’s raining or night as an excuse for not walking etc
Secondly, why do some gyms seem to use this unclear numbering system instead of kilos or pounds?
Is it because they save 1 cent not having to print the extra number?
I assume 10=100 kg etc but I would rather it just say 100kg so I did have to guess.
Hopefulky this is the first step towards getting back on track.

Haven’t posted much on this blog lately but BAM! 100 floors in a day lol. Walked up a small mountain.

Day 2 of back on the wagon. Day 1 was fine but today I had a BBQ where I am unsure of how much I ate. I don't think it was that bad, I just don't like the uncertainty.
One day isn't going to make a difference.

One of my few green days like this. Walking around Melbourne looking at houses, getting lost while following a gps, having to google directions for your taxi driver, driving around a parking station 3 times before finding the entrance, I just want a nap. Flying home now, on the plane, only 12 others on the flight.
Having some apple pie and ice cream, watching like a million bats flying overhead.
I lost my fitbit but my replacement (free as still under warranty, yay!) is being delivered. Keen to get back into it so if you have any challenges going hit me up! I’m on fitbit as Kim - achtungbaby14 at hotmail dot com

Is replacing something for free that you lost normal?
Cause it seems fitbit has some good customer service.
My fitbit which was out of warranty by nearly a year was replace because the battery kept dying. To the point that I would need to charge it once or twice a day instead of once or twice a week as I did when it was new.
Well I guess that’s a lot of days. Just wish my current weight was in a better position. But I guess that’s what you get for slacking off and saying “I’ll start watching my weight again next week” as you watch your weight increasing. At least I seem to have stopped gaining, now to start losing again. Also how awesome is my knitted beard beanie?
How do you know you have gym-ed enough?
When you are on the treadmill and are lowering the speed and get confused why the volume of your headphones isn't going down.
or
you are on the treadmill and about to get off but you forget to stop the treadmill and just ride it off the end, trying to make it look as if you meant to do it.

You better just drink water instead of eating food with any nutritional value.
But seriously some people do seem to stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong, and it’s normally the people who aren’t in any position to comment on what is and isn’t healthy.

Eating chocolate hedge hog. it is a slice I don't want to calculate the calories on, cause I want to eat it with out knowing how many pounds are added with each bite :P
