i think one day in bee's office, aaron asks andrew why he wears his armbands. aaron had assumed when he first saw them (thanksgiving), that they were wounds from a monster like drake, and that's not something to be shameful of--they both know that.
andrew doesn't answer for a while, jaw clenched in contemplation and bee just watching silently to see how this turns out. after a few minutes of tense silence, andrew lets out a sigh and says "I did these," with a tap on his forearm.
aaron's eyes widen in confusion, then they fill with understanding. he slides the end of his shorts a bit up to expose the outside of his upper thigh, where his own scars lie. with a coy smile (because he can be obnoxious like that) he looks up from the pale lines of healed tissue and locks eyes with andrew before letting out a "matching,"
that's where the session ends, but both of them have clearer insight of the other's suffering and growth. a newfound connection and quiet understanding.
andrew, who thought that his scars would be interpreted as an act of weakness, finds that they can't be. not if aaron carries those same scars with him, too.
and aaron, who at some point thought of his brother as a heartless monster, smiles at the proof of his emotions. that they match. they both went through shit, but survived through it all and here they were.
without a second thought, Neil grabs every new candy he spots on the shelf and tosses it onto the checkout counter for Andrew. a new candy bar, a chocolate with an unfamiliar flavor, a limited-edition release, if Neil hasn’t seen it before, it somehow ends up in Andrew’s hands, accompanied by a casual, “I just saw it. Tell me what you think.” Andrew never asks him to. Neil simply can’t help himself.
“Kevin realising he set up his celebrity crush with his ex situationship” bold of you to assume he didn’t do that shit on purpose. Kevin wants to give Jean the life he knows he deserves and whether it’s friendship, romance or a Raven esque partnership he knows Jeremy will give him that.
He just wants Jean to be happy.

Jean in every other universe is marked with the number ‘4’, a very unlucky number in Japan and a homophone for “death” and in every other universe Jean dies.
However, in this one Jean takes Nathaniel’s number, ‘3’, a lucky number symbolising stability and abundance. And he lives.
Neil would be marked with ‘4’, marked for death, but Lola burned it off. And he survives.
nora please set me free from the numerical symbolism please im tired and i dont have enough red string for connecting all these dots
