Intro Post
2025-11-18
It's been a long time since I've started this blog, and I honestly didn't think it would still be around 5 years later. Since a lot has changed in that time, I thought it might be about time to finally update the pinned post.
I'm Mira, a physics PhD candidate currently working on cosmology research (day-to-day stuff is mostly programming and data analysis, but research interests lie in dark energy and weak gravitational lensing). What began as a typical studyblr - posting photos of study materials, listing out to-dos, sharing study tips - has gradually become just a blog of random thoughts and reflections on my graduate school journey and academia as a whole.
I do not keep this blog going for any particular audience, and my interests and style will change over time. If for some reason my ramblings or reblogs bring you joy then by all means youâre welcome to come and go as you please.
Iâm always open to conversations and interactions, I just might be slow to respond. I have a bad habit of opening messages to make the notification go away and then forgetting to respond (oops).
