Hi! So after quite a long breather from fanfic, I am finding myself inspired again. This time I’ve made a sideblog (@fatesofstarlight) to contain anything related to my fics. I may still use this one for random interests and fun things :) For right now I’m focusing on updating Peredhil, but there is one more project I’m also planning. Announcing the 2018 Cyclone Christmas Fic Share!

Are you missing Scorpion fic almost as much as you miss our show? Same here! We think we’ve come up with a solution to brighten our holidays. Welcome to the Cyclone Christmas Fic Share 2018!

HOW IT WORKS

Our goal is to keep this simple and manageable, so as many people as possible can participate.

Write a Scorpion fic of your choice! It can be a one-shot, ficlet, drabble or multichapter (if you’re feeling really productive!). Choose any ship you like, or no ship at all! Angst, fluff, romance, it’s ALL good here!

There is no word minimum or maximum. It’s entirely up to you.

The fic can have a holiday theme/setting if you like, but it certainly doesn’t have to.

Not a writer? No problem! You can also share a Scorpion gifset, a graphic, a playlist or anything else you like.

We’re not sure of the interest, so we won’t be exchanging names. You can certainly gift your fic/work to someone specific if you like, but you don’t have to. The point is to share some fan talent with each other.

Fics and other work must be submitted no later than Dec. 22. We’ll share them with everyone on Christmas Eve!

Please don’t share your work on your own blog until after it’s been revealed. Santa doesn’t come early!

BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE/MAKE!

Hey, do you have a fic you’ve always wanted to read, but don’t have the inspiration to write? Put your request in the ask box and we’ll share it! You never know…some writer who’s looking for a topic might grant your Christmas wish.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Just send an e-mail to [email protected] and let us know you’re planning to work on a fic, gif, playlist or etc. We don’t need many details. This is just so we have an idea of who is participating and so we can send you reminders.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Fics will be submitted on AO3. When posting your work, under “Associations”, please select “Post to Collections” and type in “CycloneChristmasFicShare2018”. The moderators will make the posts live on Christmas Eve.

Gifsets and graphics can be submitted via tumblr by clicking “Submit a Post or Work” on the Cyclone Christmas Fic Share 2018 blog. The moderators will make the posts live on Christmas Eve.

Playlists can be assembled on the site of your choice (ex,: Spotify, 8tracks, etc.). Submit the link via tumblr by clicking “Submit a Post or Work” on the Cyclone Christmas Fic Share 2018 blog. The moderators will make the posts live on Christmas Eve.

Again, all submissions are due before the end of the day Dec. 22.
