Call me Perseus, Perci, or simply Moth. I go by they and he pronouns primarily, but you can also use mo/moth if you wanna be fancy.
I identify as Mystiori, under the Misce+ umbrella, as a Mothman.
My secondary gender is Tau Omega.
My scent identity is Arōnum; rose for spring, wolfthorn for summer, cinnamon and pumpkin spice for autumn, and milk and honey for winter.
I experience Moonbright attraction, and am currently engaged to my mate/life partner as my shimerous. I also experience platonic and fictional Moonbright attraction.
I am 28 years old (ancient in internet/tumblr years) and may post nsfw content on the rare occasion that I feel like it, which will be tagged appropriately. I ask that minors not DM me, as I’m just simply not comfortable having close relations with that big of an age gap, but you’re free to follow and interact publicly with safe for work posts.
Content: An attraction/orientation based flag and term.
BLOOD MOON ALLURE/ATTRACTION
Blood Moon Allure also called Blood Moon Attraction is a romantic and/or sexual orientation characterized by an inherent preference for relationships centered on Misce+ dynamics. Individuals experiencing this attraction may seek and prioritize connections with Misce+ individuals including; Miscefolk, Misceanimalis, Essenti, and Mystiori.
My coined terms and flags are exclusively for Misce+ individuals whether singlet or CDD/OSDDID system alters/parts. My terms and flags are not for use by those who identify with or support the following communities; TransID, RadQueer, Xenosatanists, Endogenic/Endo/Willo/Polymind/Tulpa/Non-Disordered etc "systems".
The internal protectors. Omegas take care of the inner problems of the pack such as (but not limited to) emotional/instinctual issues, infighting, reproduction, and monitoring pack health and mating cycles. They also make major decisions in the pups' education. Stereotyped as weak and emotional.
Defining Traits
Submissive
Vigilant
Titles
Pack Mom- oldest or chosen omega with top authority on the inner workings of the pack.
The Heart- often given to an omega in a pack where there is only one omega.
Ommy (Oh-mee or Aw-mee)- equivalent to a parental title but used by all pups in the pack rather than just their own children. Usually (but not always) paired with the omega’s name, for example, Ommy Charlie.
Betas
The collaborative protectors. Betas can assist in internal and external problems but also manage relations with other packs, delegating pack responsibilities, and pack resources. Betas have traits of alphas and omegas as well as their own characteristics, and because of this, usually pack responsibilities vary incredibly from beta to beta. Stereotyped as dull and useless.
Defining Traits
Levelheaded
Strong-willed
Titles-
Pack Link- Given to the top-ranking beta. Usually determined by dedication and attentiveness to the pack and pack issues by the pack leader. Note: Not every pack has a titled Link.
Bebby (Beh-bee)- equivalent to a parental title but used by all pups in the pack rather than just their own children. Often (but not always) paired with the beta’s name, for example, Bebby Nico.
Alphas
The external protectors. Alphas handle exterior elements the pack may face such as (but not limited to) outside threats, physical protection, and pack territory. Alphas used to be the main breadwinners of the pack, but as times have shifted, so has this responsibility, and it is now more equally shared among different dynamics. Stereotyped as aggressive and violent.
Defining Traits
Dominant
Protective
Titles
Pack Alpha: Given to the highest ranking alpha in the pack, usually determined by age or time in pack.
Sentry- A title given to the strongest and/or most trusted alphas by the pack mom or pack leader. In smaller packs, usually only one, in larger packs, up to five. Note: This title has no relevance to hierarchy.
Abby (Ah-bee)- equivalent to a parental title but used by all pups in the pack rather than just their own children. Often (but not always) paired with the alpha’s name, for example, Abby Cole.
Notes:
The title of Pack Leader can be given to any dynamic.
These are the extreme bare bones of dynamics and there will be nuances in the roles a person will have depending on the pack.
I have a lot of thoughts about scents in the omegaverse, but we'll start here. Specifically, with descriptions for scents in the omegaverse. Bc like a scent sweetening isn't indicative of heat by itself, but a cloying scent is, if that makes sense.
Sweetening; happens when you're in a good mood, or something particularly good is happening to you. You'll find it used a lot when people are getting scented by their packmates.
Souring; the opposite. A spoiled or rotten smell depending on scent. Someone with a coconut or milky smell might land more on the spoiled side, while someone with a woody or floral smell might end up on the rotten side.
Neutralizing; to go back to its blanket state, your scents base notes. Think when the Sims 4 says your Sim is "fine". Just neutral, often impersonal. What people smell like when their friend meets another friend in public and they don't have anything to add in conversation lol.
Heady; often associated with lust, specifically because heat and rut give off a very heady scent, but you'll find the same type of smell in a young alphas den for example. It's like leaving a candle going in a windowless room and when you come back a few hours later it's all you can smell.
Stale; the type of scent you'll find on old/unused nests, sealed nesting/baby blankets from childhood, old scent patches, sometimes on scent glands (especially children) if they haven't been groomed in a while. Not necessarily a bad smell, just old.
Warm; a distant antonym of neutralize. Pack dens will often smell warm. It's very personal, inviting. You'll often find pack omegas scents being described as warm, even if they have a minty or cool toned scent.
Bitter/acrid; anger or irritation. Something that makes you want to cover your nose, but it's not nausea inducing like a sour scent would be. At the most, it's annoying. This is the type of scent you'd find in a posturing match between two alphas.
But it wouldn't smell the same on everyone. Scents are like facial expressions imo. Like you can basically get the jist when you first meet someone (most of the time anyway, some people are hard to read) but if you want to get to really know what they mean, you need to actually befriend the person.
The earthy scent would smell, you guessed it, earthy. In a casual setting you'd be reminded of woods, forests, spring, etc.. but when it "sours" it'd be more like rotting wood, mold, must, sulfur, or allium. Bitter could also be allium, as well as fermentation, or cyanide.
The gourmand scent would be confectionery; candy stores, ice cream shops, bakeries, anything like that. Soured it would be like spoiled milk, spoiled chocolate, mold, yogurt, cheese, etc. bitter would be like molasses, burnt/dark chocolate, cacao, perhaps patchouli. Whatever suits their scent the most.
But in the same vein, patchouli could also be considered a warm note for the earthy scent, though they wouldn't be exactly the same. If you go smell two different perfumes that both have patchouli in it I guarantee you they won't smell exactly the same, despite having a few of the same notes. Scents don't just lose their base notes when they fluctuate.
When omegas steal things from their alphas, typically "without them knowing" (generally they catch on, but stay silent cause they think it's so cute 🤭)
Blankets and pillows piled high the entire way around the bed (or wherever they happen to go into heat), high enough they have to sit up to see outside of the nest
Blankets and pillows as the outer shell, with lightly worn clothes from their alpha as the interior of their nest
Taking all of the blankets and pillows from the house, including any throws and pillows on the couches and in closets, with the softest and most used ones kept close
Making their alpha(s) wait until their omega declares the nest perfect to enter, usually hovering inches away as they wait for permission - sometimes this can take daaays (swoon)
Alphas happily providing their clothes, sometimes purposefully wearing 2-3 outfits a day when their omega begins going into heat
The Misce+ pack server has been made! I have server applications turned on, and hopefully if the need for a mod team arises I'll be able to allow them to access those, but for now with a smaller community I should be able to manage them myself.
If there's anything you'd like to see, please feel free to suggest! I'm used to having the bandwidth to run community servers and thought I'd contribute.

18+ only server; a space exclusively for adults in the community for boundary/comfort reasons.
Roles for dynamics, pronouns, colors, ping/dm boundaries, and server activity pings.
Channel categories for Alphas, Betas, and Omegas to have their own spaces for discussion.
(Experimental) Pawpals program; apply to be able to send and receive letters and gifts with packmates! (This feature will be heavily monitored and may end up getting revoked if things start going sideways, but I thought it was a nice idea.)
Check out the The Eclipse Den community on Discord - hang out with 5 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.
For any 'verses with avian-related dynamics! As someone who has constant bird brainrot, this will be mostly based on a mixture of my own headcanons about the omegaverse in general & irl bird behaviours.
I call a group of bird-based people a 'flock' :D
Also note that nesting (the act of building a nest) =/= reproducing (the act of producing offspring); this is because in many species the male is responsible for building a nest whereas the female is the one doing the reproducing.
Mating seasons for birds typically happen in spring! This means that:
Non-reproducing members of a social flock may get increasingly irritable and territorial- they will often fiercely defend their collective territory from outsiders
Social flocks tend to synchronise nesting and having hatchlings at the same time if they so desire, as to ensure they can take full advantage of the mating season
Solitary or near-solitary birds (those with very small flocks), on the other hand, will have reproducing members being the territorial one since they are defending their hatchlings
Another form of nest protection mechanism is to divert a threatening predator's attention, either by feigning a weakness like irl birds or creatively distracting them!
I'd think that adolescents would use this as an excuse to do some pretty crazy stuff. "Why did you throw that rock into my window?" "Because he looked at me threateningly!"
Showing off flashy, shiny or otherwise items of value to a prospective mate for courting or just to show them your appreciation
Other forms of arts, such as singing, dancing, poetry, flower arranging, scrapbooking, cooking, you name it, they can all be part of a courting ritual
Or maybe you're not good at arts. A courter can also try to impress a courtee with virtually anything they're good at, so you'd get two nerds(/affectionate) trying to court each other by spitting out obscure facts or something
Crafting elaborate items, anything from knitting a scarf to building a whole treehouse, as a nesting partner gifting to the reproducing partner in order to show how good they are at making a nest
Adolescents of all dynamics practise courting & nesting on each other as preparation; this can lead to some confusion if one side is genuinely interested and the other thinks it's a practise! RIP
And lastly, a-spec people may or may not have these urges, or wish to participate in these. Some a-spec people still do a variation of the courting ritual for friends or family, others may have been mimicking allo peers without realising its actual use as a courting ritual!
If I think of any more I'll add them! Some of these behaviours I already exhibit as both a misceavian and a bird therian haha.
I'd have to go digging around for the post I'm thinking of, but I like the interpretation of Beta's as scouts/rangers, as well as like, herd tenders (like shepherds, tending to and protecting sheep and other livestock). For now I've just called the section in the Eclipse Den server marked for betas as 'alcoves', but if any betas have any suggestions feel free to send them my way.
