Alternatives to Instagram

If you don’t know, Meta is now going to be using your posts, comments, reels and all else to train their AI, and if you don’t want them to do that with your art, well, you practically have to beg them not to and maybe they’ll accept. The whole process is weird and convoluted (purposely so), and there are some guides on how to do this request.

This post isn’t about that. This post is to show some alternative places where we can post our art, and if you know some yourself, please add them in comments or share.

Anyways, here are some:

Good for managing your portfolios, and they have a very strict no AI policy

This one is pretty much pre Elon Musk twitter, so it’s pretty cool, although a bit small (to me it feels more cozy!)

We as artists have to stick together and support one another!

Part of the Wish AU/Rewrite that I mentioned

Basically Asha has been adopted by King Magnífico and Queen Amaya, and since they are both (supposedly) immortal, she’s being raised as less of a princess and more of a Adviser/Vizier.

They are both…less than stellar people. Amaya and Asha have a similar dynamic to that of Gotham and Rapunzel, albeit less ‘overprotective’ but equally passive aggressive.

As for Asha and Magnífico…they are interesting, to say the least.

This was mostly done just to play with ideas and stuff. Based on my Wish’s ideas, with Asha being the reclusive (adopted) daughter of Magnífico and Amaya, who are more interested in fulfilling the wishes of people with rather sketchy motives than their own people.

The Star is partnering with the ‘Stellar Traveller’, aka Starboy, who isn’t really a boy in this one.

I have a lot of ideas regarding Wish, so might as well draw them out.

I redesigned Asha a bit because I find her dress to be a bit dull, and decided to lean towards her Amazigh origins a bit more.

The idea of this possible rewrite is that Asha is the daughter of King Magnífico and Queen Amaya, but she’s not ever really going to take up the throne, as they seem to be immortal and aren’t going to step down in the near future.

Rather, she’s being trained to be their adviser and vizier. Still, Asha is definitely the recluse kind and doesn’t like interacting with others, partially because she gets nervous, and partially because she does think she’s better than most.

Starboy, who’s not really a boy in this au, is there to counter that and offer a different view of life and the people around her. And she eventually becomes a Fairy godmother, leaving Rosas behind to help characters in other stories fulfil their dreams.

That’s a very general view but I can go more in dept if anyone wishes (heh) me to do so lol
