Anyways this is a reminder that Laila Edwards made history DURING black history month!

She is the first black woman to play for the U.S women’s team.

She is the first black woman to score a goal for the U.S women’s team during World Juniors AND the Winter Olympics.

And she is the first black woman to receive a gold medal in hockey!

Apart from that, I just found out that the U.S women’s hockey team just declined Trump’s invitation. They’re the real world champions!
