The Night Achlys Died -> story boarding (in writing) for a major scene
- Scene opens up to Achlys walking down a dark street, only illuminaled by street lamps and still open shops.
↳ they just got off of work.
- As they week past as alley, they hear a meow, Curious, they turn into the alley to examine the noise.
- The meow come from an injured stray cat, it's coat is black and white (tuxedo) with a bright golden eye (the other one is blind).
- Achlys crouches down to inspect & pet the cat, a soft smile on her face.
- View cuts to front face of Achlys petting the cat with a tall dark figure behind them, only one eye is visable on the figure. It stares at her angrily.
- Scene cuts to Elijah, talking on the phone with Nouh as he makes supper, waiting for Achlys to come home. A black velvet ring box sits on the counter beside him.
↳ if he had lips, he would be smiling the most happy and lovestruck smile to ever exist.
- The table is fancily set, an exquisite dinner being made. It's clear he's going to propose tonight.
- As Elijah is turning off the stove, the panel turns dark and a golden thread extending from his chest is seen frayed.
↳ The thread is a bond between Elijah and Achlys for protection, this is possible because Elijah is a gaurdian angel.
- Panels then return to normal.
- The phere drops and the ring box is nocked over as Elijah rushes out of the house, the box falls open on the flour, revealing the ring.
- Scene cuts back to Achlys, now stabbed in the gut (left side), blood coats her shirt.
↳ the cat, blood splattered on it, hisses and limps/runs away and out of the alley.
- The sword is twisted and pulled out of them. She is then kicked into a wall, turning over and collapsing against the wall as blood pours from their mouth from the impact.
- The mystery person approaches and roughly grabs Achlys by the chin.
↳ "Humans were never meant to touch the grace of the divine".
- The figure gives Ackleys one last kick, breaking a rib and causing them to cough up more blood, before disappearing out of the alley.
- Scene cuts to Elijah running down the sidewalk, the blood covered cat runs past him as he gets closer to the alley.
- Scene cuts back to Achlys.
- Achlys sits there in the cold ally for a moment. They slowly attempt to pull out their phone to text Elijah, only managing an "I lve u".
- Elijah rounds the corner just as Acklys goes limp, the thread appearing once mere between them and snapping just as Achlys' last wards are whispered, too quiet for anyone to hear.
- Elijah rushes forward, his hands and clothing begin to be coated in blood as he attempts to put pressure on the wound.
- Ashlys is just starting to turn cold and stiff as Elijah shuffles her into his lap.
- He calls an ambulance, even though he knows that it's no use, even though he knows that she's already dead.
- It arrives within 5 minutes, EMT's rush out and put Achlys onto a streatcher, taking her away from Elijah's arms as people immidietly begin working on CPR and securing the wound.
- Elijah joins in the back of the ambulance, carefully watching Achlys' face and trying to remember every detail of it before it is lost to him.
- Achlys is declared dead at the hospital, their injury damaged their intestines and stomach, further damage being caused as the acid within their stomach and intestines dissolving the tissues around it, along with a broken rib having punctured thein lung, leading to it not only colapsing, but also having blood leaked into it.
↳The reason for the stomach acid, according to the doctors, was most likely due to Achlys thinking about eating food as they were walking home.
