Can anyone tell why does Rhaenyra and Helaena share more scenes than Helaena and her husband, than Helaena and her own children? Than Aegon and his children? Can anyone tell me why does Helaena surves as a prop to Alicent or Rhaenyra, but never her own character? Can anyone tell my why Helaena isn't allowed to be real human with feelings? Can anyone tell me why does Rhaenyra and her brother, her enemy, the one she fights against, doesn't not share scenes at all?
Wish Halaena was ever allowed to greive for Jaehaerys the way they constantly let Rhaenyra freely and realistically greive a dead child.
at work they're showing us how to use AI tools like Copilot to help in our day to day tasks.
I have many reasons why I will not use those tools, going from lack of accuracy, lack of ethics, and a higher waste of energy.
But my main reason is this:
I will do things the hard way. I will learn how to do things the hard way.
Because AI is a subscription. And when the world is dependant on AI, they will raise the price of that subscription.
And when the company I work for decides that paying for AI is too expensive for their bottom line, they will remove it.

The dumbass scene with Rhaenyra isn't Alicent's liberation arc; it's simply a shift in who holds her reins. Instead of men, it's Rhaenyra now.
Alicent's true liberation arc should have happened in S1 when she was actively beefing with everyone around her; she was plotting to have Rhaenyra’s treason acknowledged, scheming to outmaneuver Otto, and was not afraid to defy Viserys' wishes.
All of this culminated in the confrontation at Driftmark. That should have been the moment of Alicent's liberation—the point where her worst fears come to life, proving her right; Rhaenyra’s flaunting of her duty finally led to Alicent and her loved ones bearing the consequences.
Viserys, in the same breath as he coddled and protected Rhaenyra, demanded that Alicent let go of her grievances and make peace with the injustices she had endured. At that moment, Alicent realized she deserved better, so she snatched Viserys precious dagger and tried to stab the very woman he ordered her to reconcile with—the same woman who, moments earlier, had demanded that her son be tortured.
Alicent stabbing Rhaenyra should have been the ultimate rejection of Viserys—a moment where she finally broke free from his shackles. That should have been Alicent final stance against her jailor. Alicent refusing to bow to his demands, and is finally free to seek justice for herself.
This should have been Alicent's liberation arc.
I fucking swear Alicent's arc in season 2 made no sense!!!!!
Maelor was removed from the show because the writers didn't know what do with him without tarnishing Rhaenyra's character.
Every murder had nothing to do with her, from Daemon acting on his own accord when executing Vaemond to the most insincere "how could you 🥺??? reaction to Jaehaerys' beheading. Rhaenyra had nothing to do with either killing despite being the biggest beneficiary from both deaths. She is also the biggest beneficiary of Maelor being absent.
So Maelor was removed for 3 reasons:
Rhaenyra remains unscathed with the blemish of being a baby killer, they can continue their narrative of the girlboss queen who is the most feminist feminist to ever feminist.
All remaining males in Team Green are now evil men, Alicent is therefore 100% justified in selling them out to the enemy. It's also ok for Rhaenyra to kill all of them because it's not like there are any newborns lying around 👍.
Rhaenyra is now the only mother with infant children, and the show made a point of including a scene where she plays with them. This makes a huge difference to how the GA will precieve her in comparision to Alicent who only has adult children and Helaena who has one blink and you'll miss it 6 year old.

So all blame for Otto's execution, Gwayne's death and Helaena's suicide will be at the feet of Alicent Hightower because she betrayed them to the enemy.
Rhaenyra's hands will remain clean from bloodshed as Hess' precious Queen can do nothing wrong, it's all that bitch Alicent's fault.

Everyone saying Rhaenyra clapped Alicent with "Now they see you as you are. ", that she was so cool, badass (No she wasn't), No one saying Aemond clapped the entire existence of everyone present there with "Do not mourn me mother, it was a fair exchange. I may have lost an eye but I gained a dragon".
A 10-12 year old boy who just lost an eye, whose wound is still bleeding, and came to a realization that his father will never care for him, telling his mom to not be sad for him, is the most badass thing of the entire show!!!

i'm just going to put this out there, y'all are great at examining rhaenyra's character though modern lenses and be critical of Westerosi society values when it concerns HER, but fail to do the same for alicent.
rhaenyra's modern family is praised by the fandom while the 14yo alicent is branded as a "seductress" to a man KING in his late 40's. the fandom refuses to acknowledge the fact that she was maritally raped by viserys because "he's her husband & it's normal for women in Westeros". alicent is mocked by the fandom for her sense of duty that was shaped by the patriarchal society she lives in while at the same time her trauma is left completely unacknowledged because "it's the wife's duty to have children with her husband therefor she's not a victim".
so you can't have it both ways. if alicent wasn't raped by viserys because "he's her husband and it's the duty of 15yo to marry middle aged kings and have kids in Westeros", then rhaenyra has committed HIGH treason because she had a relationship with a man who wasn't her husband. the hypocrisy is infuriating.

Also I don't know if some of those people need reminding, but this isn't like hopping on a horse. I want them to look me in the eye and tell me that Vhagar stood against a 10 year old of this size in comparison to her, and had no choice but to be claimed by said tiny child.

I'm genuinely perplexed by statements like "Helaena seems so innocent, but she did nothing to stop Aegon! She could sit on Dreamfyre and burn all the Greens! And she didn't!" Like… uh? It's time to realize that Helaena wasn't some unhappy hostage of her family. She loved them. She loved her children. She had no reason to go over to Rhaenyra's side or trust her at all. Surprise - that doesn't make her a bad person.
Team Black is pretty much a stranger to her. Also there is a certain white haired loser that orchestrated her son's murder. Like why would you want her and her kids to go to a man that had one of them killed??? Logic is missing again.
