Your first memory is wakening up in a strange bedroom. You have no idea how you got there nor where you are. Worse still, you do not even recognize the face that stares back at you in the mirror. Your confusion increases when a man enters the room asking who you are.
"My brothers found you while they were going into the village. You were unconscious on the ground and covered in wounds. They brought you, and my father decided one of us would save you."
It seems that from now on you are going to live with them. What strikes you as odd, even without your memories, is the feeling that their lifestyle is peculiar. They only leave the house at night and do not consume food, only drink that strange crimson liquid. And now so do you.
No matter how strange, they are now your family. Enrique, the man the others call “Father,” does not tire of reminding you of that.
They have saved your life, are giving you a new home, and even giving you a spot in their family, supporting you in whatever they can. Is that enough for you?

Head of the Moonlight family, your family, and fatherly figure of the boys. He oversees the well-being of his family and all the others. A close friend of Mond, the first vampire, and the one in charge when Mond isn't around.
He is a caring and kind father. Although he is more strict and harsh with Derek.

The eldest son. Distrustful, down-to-earth, and a natural leader. Always gives his best and takes responsibility for the family, being the one to resolve all the problems. He's honest, but he doesn't know how to express himself appropriately, which causes him to almost always make people angry.
Also, he's the most powerful using the mental abilities of vampires, just second to Mond himself.

The second son. Always with a gentle smile to offer and kind words to give unless you start questioning him about his past, which is a touchy subject for him. He's usually the mediator between Derek and Alexandre and the one who always supports Jeremiah when he wants to help someone.
He's a true angel and gentleman, right? Even if sometimes you can catch glimpses of his... not so gentle side?

The third son. He may look intimidating, but in reality, he's easygoing, sarcastic, always finds time to crack jokes, and loves to tease and make fun of Derek. He likes to train with the Delacroix even though he doesn't like the family that much.
At first, he can be aloof or indifferent, but earn his friendship and you won't find a friend more loyal than him.

The youngest, until you arrived. He is the reason you're still alive. He's a really empathetic and kind person, always ready to help anyone who may need it.
Something to keep in mind with him, don't get scared when you hear something go boom on his room, probably just another one of his inventions that went wrong.

She and her sister, Eira, are the oldest of the Delacroix. She's protective of her family and tries to convince everyone to get along. Or at least not to be at each other throats. She can also be quite stubborn when her mind's set and very observant of her surroundings.
She mostly visits your house to take Lorian/Locke back home or to visit her uncle and cousin, Enrique and Derek.

"If you want to talk about it, I can listen. On the other hand, if you wish to remain quiet, I will keep you company in the silence."
They're the youngest of the Delacroix. They don't talk much, are calm, are not very expressive, and are a good listener. Their inexpressiveness makes people think they're cold or cruel, but they just don't know how to express their emotions.
You can find them in your house very frequently as they're Derek's cousin and best friend.

Leader of the witches. A young woman who helps the vampires with their sun problems. She may be the person with the most energy you will ever meet. Spending five minutes in her presence could erase your bad mood and infect you with her positivity. Also, she's super impulsive, always going along with the first crazy idea that crosses her mind.
Just remember, do not let her bright appearance fool you as she is still the most powerful witch.
I enjoyed the update! I went back and read the others pov and its interesting to see where they bite us. Is there a reason why? Also just love being inside their heads and seeing what they think.

Derek bites MC’s hand because he kind of wanted to keep a certain distance between the two of them, both physical and emotional. Nothing too close and personal; he wanted something more formal or businesslike, drawing a particular line.
Max was pure impulse. He was nervous and wanted it to be over with (especially with a female!MC), and the neck, in his head, gave him the most room to just bite while not looking too closely where.
Alex thought the forearm was the safest place to bite. Nothing to personal that MC could disapprove of if they were conscious.
And in Jere’s case, it’s the shoulder because he saw MC didn’t have cuts there and thought something like, “They weren’t wounded here, maybe this place won’t hurt them as much as the arms.”
Will it be obvious if we are ??? route? Also, is it obvious what choice we have to make? Bc I know one is in chapter one. I just dont know if I have chosen it yet. 😅 bc I plan to romance them all.

Once I update the game with Chapter Two, it’ll make more sense, but the hints the game will leave to indicate if you’re onto ??? ’s route are the nightmares/dreams.
Each chapter will have a nightmare/dream, like the one at the beginning of Chapter One. If you see the nightmare/dream, it means you made a choice in the previous chapter that led MC to dream about something from their past.
The nightmare in Chapter One will always appear, since it’s the very first one. The rest depend on the choices.
And the options will have a pattern. Some will be more obvious than others, and others will be trickier. The one in Chapter One is pretty simple and easy to get.
Also, the nightmare/dream will be related to the choice you made, so you could get the idea what choice triggered said dream.
Alas, I cannot say why you need dreams from the past to unlock ??? ’s route… :)
You know... before the ask and answer I wasn’t interested in romancing Enrique. I kinda really like just having a character that can be like a father (or grandfather xD) for us.
But the way you described his romance made me kinda want that romance, lol. Im just a sucker for hot/cold romances xD

And I admit I've been wondering, as I've been writing the story and Enrique appears, "Where could I fit a choice to get closer to him?"
I haven't written one, but I'm already imagining cases where it could work... Oh dear.

Either way whether Enrique becomes or never becomes an RO my heart (and the hearts of like-minded readers) will always belong to Enrique, I just need to holler my love for these type of characters XD
With that first paragraph, you even convinced me, I wanna romance him too 🤣
And, well, one of the main reasons he isn’t available as a romance is because, unlike all the other romances, he would only be available to a female MC. I’m sorry, but he’s as straight as can be 😅 I didn’t know how well that would be received: all romances are available for any MC except him.
And another reason is that he doesn’t want to fall in love again.
That’s why he only turned men into vampires, why the Moonlight family only has male members, besides Derek. Enrique didn’t wanna risk falling for a woman if he turned her into a vampire.
This is somewhat explained in the boys’ POV from the prologue: the vampire grows immediately attached to the human they turn, even if the vampire doesn’t want to. It isn’t romantic attachment or attraction, just care.
But he was afraid that his care could develop into romantic love. So he made sure to just turn people who he wouldn’t fall in love with. With whom he could only create a familial love.
That being said, he doesn’t want to love romantically again. But that doesn’t mean that he can’t :)
So that’s more or less the route his romance could take. As I said before, I haven’t discarded the idea. I really like the concept of his romance. And, I gotta say, this man is intense. Very much hot-and-cold.
Sometimes he puts all his walls up, then he lets his guard down unknowingly, next he’ll even forget his decision and be all in, no matter the consequences, and just as suddenly pull back at the last minute, raising walls again, and feeling regret and longing—

How do you get the sun wound? I feel like i have tried different ways, but I feel like i never get.

To get the burn, you have to escape the house near the end of Chapter One. For that, you must argue with Derek. No matter who your maker is, you can argue with him, and if you two fight enough, MC will leave the house.
I might add that the easier way to fight with him is to rudely reject drinking the vial. The “Hell no” option :)
And once you escape, you’ll get burned, no matter what.
I just finished the game and when the scene where mc explain what Derek did wrong I had a mental image of him talking with a dictionary, I find it oddly cute and funny because I choose to make mc short, like a little dictionary...

Derek can be rather harsh with his words. Not always on purpose.
Like in Chapter One, MC will have more opportunities to be that dictionary to Derek 😂

Its a little odd that some if the ROs are like "i dont want you to drink it without knowing what it is" and then my MC goes "okay, what is it?" And then they just...dont explain what the blood is so she doesnt drink it? She would if it was explained but it wasnt told to her
Most of the Moonlight boys were like: “I want you to drink this because it is for your own good, but I don’t want you to freak out and don’t wanna do it when you find out what it is.”
Derek completely believes MC won’t drink that when they discover it is blood. And he can’t risk MC not drinking his blood, or blood in general, and jeopardize their own power’s development.
Max shares Derek’s opinion when he hears it, and agrees that maybe a little lie by omission won’t be so bad. After all, MC’s health is the most crucial thing.
Alex isn’t that convinced when Derek tells him to keep the blood thing a secret, and thinks it is unfair to ask the MC to trust that much without giving them enough proof they can be trusted. But he begrudgingly agrees with Derek because he knows Derek has more experience and decides to trust his judgment this time… which he may come to regret :) ✨
Jeremiah is the only one who doesn’t think it is right and doesn’t change his mind, no matter how much Derek tries. He doesn’t want to start his relationship with MC on lies and wants to give MC their right of choice whenever possible.
So, three of the four boys hide the fact that the vial was filled with blood from MC. And when MC finds out they lied to them (because yes, omission is also lying), of course, they can get mad :)
Was it dumb of them to hide it? Maybe.
This time, Jeremiah was the most responsible one, in my opinion 😂
Would Alex genuinley go out and fight whoever caused those injuries to MC?
Basically? Yup.
He was kidding when he said that, but only half-kidding. More like to make MC feel safe. But also it was something like "I was joking, but if you want, then I'm not joking."
If you tell him, he will go and rough them up a bit. Or to just scare them, intimidate them or the kind, he's also game. He knows his strength and won't do anything serious, but just enough to send his message right.
