Love being brutally called out by the British Library
Oh my gosh I went here a few days ago do you guys want to see the whole sign
I’m covered with “Librarians from Everywhere” but as a former museums professional “Tourists who think we’re the British Museum” really speaks to me on a personal level.
I’m “all ten people who think they’ve got the most niche interest in the whole building”

Smoke and Annie — Art by Howie Noel
"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of another." Charles Dickens.
In a world driven by success and wealth, compassion is what gives life meaning.
The fear of being insignificant is real. But if you ease even one person’s pain, you are not meaningless.
"Even if no one sees what you do, someone, somewhere, will feel it one day." Fred Rogers.
Despite everything...
we have also been the ones who save.
Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all humanity. Sometimes you can’t save anyone. Sometimes it fails.
But still... try anyway.
Because it matters anyway.
Maybe no one will ever know.
But maybe, one day (far from now), someone will sit with their coffee and cry because of what you tried to do.
What if I told you that the person who wrote what you just read is in urgent need of help? That a father, a mother, and four children in Gaza are living right now on the kindness of people like you. Your support does not just help. It decides what they eat, what they wear, where they sleep, and how they continue.
Yes... it is that simple, and that harsh.
So now, the choice is yours. This is our campaign link. This is our verification number #644. If you have the ability, please stand with us. Be kind to us, and to our children.
i hope everyone is ready to celebrate International Down With Cis day on April 4th.

I'm really worried about Fadel. He was just released from the hospital on Thursday and already he has been admitted again. His body is breaking down from malnutrition, anemia, and the effects of going too long without his blood medication. His blood count is dangerously low.
Please, your donation can save my friend from death. His family relies entirely on his campaign as their sole source of income, and when they cannot raise enough for adequate food and medicine, then what little money there is must go towards hospital bills when Fadel collapses and they find him on the ground, terrified that this time he is dead.
Fadel has survived bombing, shelling, and gunfire from the occupation while managing his health with no resources outside of what he can buy with donations. A bullet narrowly missed his head only a couple weeks ago. His life is threatened constantly in this genocide.
Fadel's fundraiser is #197 on @gazavetters and is hosted by a friend of mine. @fadel-dani's family needs a transfer of funds as soon as possible. As of writing, they have only raised 3% of their goal.
Please help him!
My friends, you are my only hope now. I desperately need your help. I don't know how I'll be able to raise the money for my hospital stay, and on top of that, I'm exhausted and in pain all the time. Please donate.
not a day goes by that i dont think about this poor guy
I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word and ignores me.
As I write these words, my father is going through the most difficult time of his life due to cancer, which could claim his life at any moment because there are no medical teams or sufficient treatment to cure and help him.
I am trying my best to collect as many donations as possible to save my father and get him out of here as soon as his name is added to the list of travelers at the crossing. However, the longer he stays in Gaza, the more we need every donation and every bit of help to save him. Please don't ignore this and be a reason for saving my father's life Please share this post and donate now.
hi i am crying. i love you trans women ❤
ID: a reddit post in the subreddit "mtf" by user @.apotatomassacre. "My 84 year old Navajo grandmother gave me one of her bracelets (that my silversmith grandfather made for her in the 50s) after seeing me as myself for the first time. It was one of the pinnacle moments of my transition and definitely made me cry.
i came out to my grandma at the beginning of the year over the phone. She really didn't (and I knew) know what transgender was or anything but this past weekend, we were able to see each other in person for the first time since i started my transition. For being 84 years old, the chat went as great as it could have gone! She caught me as I was leaving and she gave me a silver bracelet with turquoise and coral stones. She told me that this style is what Navajo women wear.
I was speechless as she barely learned what transgender was just minutes earlier. I cried for the entire drive home." End ID
