Jaemin drifts out of sleep as he reaches for his phone to hit the snooze button of his alarm that goes off in his room while his roommate mumbles out for him to shut it off. He finally gets it off while his eyes are still closed before his eyes flutter open, hair scattered in every which way as he tries to wake himself up, he drags his body out of bed.
“Need… coffee,” He mumbles to himself as he fumbles around in the dark trying not to wake Jeno up while also trying to find some clothes to change into to meet up with someone. After a struggle in the dark, he finally manages to throw on a clean pair of clothes and head out as Jeno continues to sleep in.
The early hours of the morning means that fewer people were up as Jaemin opens the door to his favorite cafe, his gaze turns to the counter out of habit where he spots someone working but to his dismay, it’s not his favorite barista. Frowning he makes his way over to the counter giving the man his order his usual tone laced with sleepiness.
“Uh, are you sure? This is going to be a strong drink…” The barista warns as Jaemin nods before paying for his drink and looking around the rest of the cafe his eyes landing on the person he was meeting up with, he was wearing a grey hoodie and sipping on an iced coffee his eyes closed trying to savor sleep.
“Hey, Johnny,” The blue-haired boy greets his fellow photography club member who slowly opens his eyes as he motions to the seat in front of him.
“Hey, Jaemin,” Johnny offers a sleepy smile as he rubs his eyes.
“Morning,” The younger of the two mumbles as he waits for the barista to finish making his drink.
“How are you?” Jaemin wonders but his mind is still hyper-focused on coffee as his headache starts approaching as the smell of coffee completely takes over his senses.
“Tired…” Johnny drifts off eyes closing again for a moment before opening up again.
“Then why the hell would you want to meet this early in the morning?” Jaemin asks confused rubbing his temple stealing glances at the barista taking his time when you would have had it done by now.
“I’m super busy like all week, ya know classes, work, the Frat,” Johnny lists off as Jaemin mentally curses him.
“So you decided to make me suffer?” Jaemin sets his head against the table waiting to hear his name like a child.
“Sorry I wouldn’t have asked if it wasn’t important,” Johnny admits seeing as he’s also exhausted himself.
“What’s more important than sleep?” Jaemin pouts thinking about his comfy bed.
“Coffee for Jaemin!” The barista finally announces and Jaemin is up and over by the counter in no time at all as he snatches the drink off the counter and takes a sip of the very pungent drink he loves so much letting out a sigh of delight as if it’s happiness in a cup.
“Much better,” Jaemin smiles before taking his seat in front of Johnny once again.
“As I was saying, what’s more, important than sleep?” Jaemin claims again as he slowly feels himself waking up.
“My friend’s love life,” Johnny uses his straw to mix around the contents of his drink.
“What does this have to do with me exactly?” Jaemin raises an eyebrow in confusion try to understand.
“You know ____, right?” Johnny watches as Jaemin takes a drink and nods.
“Yeah, well I think my friend and her would be a good fit,” Johnny points out before drinking his coffee.
“Ohhhhhh, I see,” Jaemin smiles knowingly wiggling his eyebrows at the older guy.
“See what exactly?” Johnny hesitates watching the glimmer of mischief in Jaemin’s eyes.
“Do you like her?” Jaemin asks leaning forward interested in his answer as Johnny pinches the bridge of his nose.
“No, it’s not like that- I really mean that I think my FRIEND and her would be a good fit I just don’t know her that well,” Johnny emphasizes the word friend trying to explain the situation.
“Okay, so what does your FRIEND have to do with me?” Jaemin leans his head to the side not catching on quite yet.
“I need to know more information before I try to get them together but I don’t have any time to spend with her which is where you come in,” Johnny starts laying out his plan to Jaemin who listens intently.
“So you want me to get to know ____ and then pass the information to you for your FRIEND,” Jaemin asks unsure of this plan or even if this FRIEND exists. this whole thing starts to sound like a big game of telephone.
“I don’t know… about this, it seems wrong and why not let them figure out if that’s the case.” Jaemin suggests as a much more reasonable option.
“Please, My friend isn’t in the best mindset for making decisions so I just want to make it easier for him,” Johnny begs as Jaemin reluctantly looks at his friend across from him who’s clearly trying his best as he agrees.
“As long as she doesn’t end up hurt…” Jaemin adds as a smile clause as Johnny nods thanking Jaemin for his agreement to do this for him.
“I owe you,” Johnny gives a tired smile before getting up and leaving the small cafe while Jaemin stays in his seat drinking his coffee lost in his own thoughts.

Jaehyun’s finger hovers over the button he’s dreading with the contact with Heejin’s picture on it but the name has been replaced with a simple devil emoji followed by DON’T CALL. Jaehyun runs his fingers through his head internally debating whether to click the call button eventually exiting the contacts and scrolling till he gets to the contact labeled ‘Gym Buddy’ proceeding to make a call to him instead as the phone rings.
“What’s up?” The person answers, their groggy voice making it obvious they didn’t wake up too long ago.
“Sorry, did I wake you up? I can call you later,” Jaehyun offers getting ready to end the call as they speak again.
“Nah, you’re fine I need to get up anyway.” The voice explains.
“Okay, I didn’t know who else would give me an unbiased answer,” Jaehyun starts off his free hand messing with his hair out of habit.
“Ummmmm, what do you mean?” The girl asks needing more than that.
“Just that you don’t know my relationship like my friends, so I need your opinion Soora.” His voice is fueled with confusion.
“Okayyyyy, go for it,” she happily agrees as she listen’s to her friend’s voice.
“So my Ex-girlfriend…” Jaehyun takes in a shaky breath before letting it out and continuing.
“Our relationship, it- it wasn’t healthy but she keeps telling me she’s changed and wants to give us a try again… But I don’t think I can take another heartbreak from this girl, I don’t really know what I’m asking from you I’m just getting this off my chest since you’re a new pair of ears.”
“Don’t go back to her,” Soora puts it simply before elaborating.
“No girl is worth that much pain, find someone who genuinely makes you happy to be around,” She explains her stance on his situation.
“But for the longest time that’s how she made me feel, and that keeps bringing me back to her trying to get back to that point.” Jaehyun counters reflecting on the start of the relationship.
“Look, Jaehyun. You could find someone who you know won’t hurt you or go into a relationship you don’t trust, just think about it…” Soora’s voice trails off as she lets out a yawn.
“I’ve got to go, I need to get ready for class but don’t go to her because you want to fix something too beyond repair, why try to fix a broken vase that will still have those cracks when you could find a new vase,” She ends her opinion looking at the time.
“Thanks, Soora, See you at the gym later,” Jaehyun’s voice sounds less anxious at the end of the call.
“Yup, I hope I could be of some help,” And with that, the call disconnects as Jaehyun leans back thinking over the conversation with a little less internal confliction.

Hello I want to say that I’m deeply sorry if I’ve ever made anyone who reads my stories feel like they’re not being included. It’s never been my intention to do this because no matter what size, race, gender everyone deserves to be included without the fear they can’t relate. I’m working on going through and making sure I’m being inclusive and if I am not I want you to tell me. I want to be held accountable for my writing especially since I write exclusively in second person so you the reader are most important. I want this blog to be a place that people don’t feel excluded from and can enjoy. I’ll be going over my stories thoroughly and rereading to see if anything I’ve ever written might be excluding someone and fixing it. “Hey, ____?” Miyoung smiles sweetly and you know she wants something so you start to pack your books into your bag.
“I didn’t even say anything yet!” She defends but you knew what she wanted.
“No, but I know you, so just call me when you’re done,” you laugh and a deep red color floods her ears in embarrassment.
“Maybe I was just gonna ask you to go with me to get coffee!” She pouts but she was too dressed up for even coffee, she had a dark red lip and her eye shadow was a dark smokey eye.
“Just please don’t have him here too late, the library closes at 9,” you explained hoping she wouldn’t lose track of time and you’d be stuck having to figure something else to do until 2 am like a few nights in the past.
“I’ll try,” Miyoung smiles making sure you leave the building safely before she’s back upstairs getting ready. You were severely under-dressed for the colder weather at night as you could feel the cold air engulf your entire body, You shiver as you start to walk in the direction of the library on the campus. You and Miyoung happened to be in the newer dorms which were a blessing for the better facilities but were also further from the library. The cold air had a visible effect on you as your arms and legs were covered in goosebumps.
“She owes me,” You mumble under your breath almost jogging to try and keep semi-warm, which turned into an awkward cold sweat that just brought discomfort by the time you got to the Library after being exiled.
It was cold inside almost as cold as it was outside and without any hoodie or sweater you were miserable as you find a quiet corner to set up for studying, there weren’t many people but those that you saw were stressed and cramming or almost passed out trying to study.
Just as you got relaxed you could hear someone sobbing from behind a bookshelf, you could either move or try to ignore it, out of pure laziness you dig through your bag trying to find your headphones only to remember that you left them on your desk at the dorm. You wanted to bang your head on the table at how stupid it was but you resisted instead leaning back at staring up at the ceiling, the library wasn’t huge but it was decently big although it was filled with a bit of cold dead space.
You figured that you wouldn’t be able to focus with the sobs of the girl behind the shelf so you might as well look for a book to help with studies getting up and looking around at the shelves that towered way above you. You were in the History section by the looks at it as most of the books read something about-
“Oh shit,” You hear after bumping into someone and you falling backward extremely hard to the point the breath in your lungs is no longer there.
“Wait… _____?” You can barely see the person through the gathering tears in your eyes but the voice is very familiar as you attempt to blink the tears away while coughing and trying to regain your breath the sharp pain hard to get through.
“I’m so sorry,” The person bends down to your level on the ground and you could feel them mindlessly draw soothing circles on your back trying to help you calm down as he coaches through breathing.
“Fuck- That hurt,” You manage to get out through the breaths, coughs, and slight wheezing. You wipe the tears away that had gathered.
“I didn’t see you,” They try to explain which only makes you laugh slightly at how bad they felt.
“Honestly, it’s fine,” You promise placing your hand on theirs and finally looking over to see who had taken your breath away, literally.
“Jaehyun?” You manage to make out his features easily as a shy dimple smile crosses over his lips.
“You’re correct,” He pats you on the back as you’re slowly starting to be functional again.
“What are you doing here?” You manage to ask and in hindsight, it was a dumb question, a public library on a school night. clearly, he was here to study.
“Can’t a guy go to the library to read about…” He looks at the bottom shelf grabbing a book off the lowest shelf and reading the cover.
“The in-depth History of Psycho by Red Velvet,” Jaehyun scratches the back of his neck before placing the book back on the shelf.
“I mean, if that’s what you read about, I’m not judging,” You finally get to feeling better but your back was still in a bit of pain as Jaehyun gets up from right next to you.
“It’s not my favorite thing to do but, school work is school work,” He stretches lightly glancing down at where you’re sat on the ground looking up at him an all too familiar feeling pounding in your chest as you quickly scramble to stand with him although still in a bit of pain.
“What brings you to the library?” Jaehyun pulls you out of your thoughts but noticed how you reacted smiling to himself as you try to straighten yourself out fidgeting with the bracelet on your right wrist
“Roommate kicked me out for her own… business,” You try not to explicitly say oh you know my friend is getting laid so I’ve been exiled to the library to suffer.
“That’s something I like about having my own room in the frat,” Jaehyun admits and you can’t help but follow him around the maze of bookshelves like a lost puppy enamored by his personality.
“Yeah I can only imagine, the beauty of privacy,” You hadn’t had that in a while it felt like as on more than one occasion Miyoung loved to walk into the bathroom without knocking.
“And no one kicking me out of my room,” Jaehyun aimlessly walks occasionally running a finger along the spines of the books more focused on you of course as you let out a groan of jealously at the thought of being able to relax, while you did love Miyoung her presence could suffocate you with her constant late-night talks on the phone.
“God that sounds wonderful,” You pout thinking of the things you took for granted before.
“I mean sometimes it can be a bit… smelly,” You raise an eyebrow in confusion but a bunch of guys in one place is bound to create some kind of odor so you scrunch your nose in disgust.
“Every place has its ups and downs I guess,” You shrug not paying attention as Jaehyun stops suddenly which you run into him almost falling over again but he catches your arm keeping you held up before dragging you in the opposite direction you were headed suddenly, a bit confused but you follow regardless figuring he remembered why he was there and just dragging you to the correct section.
“Okay, where are we going now?” You question as he looks behind him occasionally as if trying to find something or someone else behind you, his eyes wouldn’t find yours as he looked past you almost like a ghost was there.
“Jaehyun?” You tug at his arm and planting your feet to the ground stalling him and dragging him out of his thoughts that seemed to cloud his mind and every single one of his senses.
“Sorry I was just…” His voice trails off as you see the worry in his eyes.
“Are you always so in your head? You don’t seem to be thinking in the present,” You offer a small smile as he touches the back of his neck nervously as you spot his ears redden slightly.
“Not usually,”
“Come on, let’s go get some ice cream,” You suddenly announce finally taking the lead and letting Jaehyun follow you which he does as he raises an eyebrow in confusion at the sudden change in action.
“Why?”
“Well, Ice cream makes everyone feel better, well at least that’s what my nephew says,”
“But don’t you need to study,” You laugh at this, any excuse not to study was the best.
“Originally, but I’m not in the mood to anymore,” You smile as you get to the spot where you had set up still untouched as you start to place things back into your bag to leave.
“Okay…” He watches you sling your bag over your shoulder before grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the exit, whatever reason he had come to the library in the first place was now completely out of his mind.
You hadn’t realized how long you were actually in the library as you push the heavy door open to reveal the darkness of night, when you had arrived the sun was setting but now it felt colder as the slight breeze hit your exposed arms because of your t-shirt.
“Cold? We don’t have to get ice cream, we could get coffee or something warmer,” Jaehyun offers while letting your hand go and starting to take his hoodie off as soon as he noticed how your hands reached for your arms to warm yourself up.
“Nah, I’ve had way too much coffee today already,” You admit while he finishes slipping off his hoodie leaving him in a basketball Jersey which was even less coverage than you had.
“If you insist,” He hands you the still warm hoodie which you hesitate to take seeing he would be cold.
“Take it,” Jaehyun sees your hesitation insisting that you take it as you slowly grab it from him looking up at him with sad eyes.
“Won’t you be cold?” You point out sadly to which Jaehyun laughs smiling and ruffling your hair.
“You’re sweet for being so concerned but I’ll be fine it’s not a long walk to my car,” He assures you and it was obvious he wouldn’t be taking any no’s so you carefully slip on the dark grey hoodie suddenly engulfed by Jaehyun without him actually hugging you. The Orange smell hit your nose causing you to smile and the warmth engulfed your body with the soft fabric clinging to your body.
“Thank you,” You say before taking a step towards him and wrapping your arms around him hugging him which he returns setting his head on top of yours for a minute just enjoying you.
Eventually, you pull away as he takes the lead walking over to where he’s parked in the parking lot, dimly lit by the overhead street lights that would occasionally flicker.
The music on his playlist was nice, it was the type of music perfect for a calm relaxing night to yourself as he focused on driving humming along to the music lightly as if you weren’t even there sitting in the passenger seat staring at his side profile, his relaxed features made him look kind and approachable which brought you back to when you first met him, he was so angry and seemed so unlike the man in front of you now.
“Why?” You ask, a simple unfinished question as he glimpses over at you raising an eyebrow out of confusion.
“Why what?” He answers with another question,
“Why were you so mad when we met at that party?” You didn’t expect him to spill his entire life story or anything to you when you asked the question and he tensed, his once relaxed hands on the steering wheel held a tighter grip and you could see his veins stick out slightly more as you observed the gears turning in his head on an answer almost like he was looking at some kind of word search looking through the jumble of gibberish to find the right words.
“I was having a bad week and I didn’t feel in the mood for partying…” He admitted loosening up a bit and shaking his head as he pulled into the parking lot of Wayv Ice Cream Parlor Miyoung loved it because YangYang worked here but someone else was working tonight as Jaehyun opens the car door for you.
The little bell rings to alert the staff someone entered as soon as you pull Jaehyun into the small shop that felt all too familiar as you spot the person working look up and smile immediately.
“Kun!” You excitedly run over to the counter, the place was dead empty so it was nice to see a familiar friendly face as Jaehyun made his way over next to you as Kun start to make your usual request.
“Where’s Miyoung?” The man you had gawked at when you had first seen him working because of his visuals asks.
“She decided to stay at the dorm, this is Jaehyun,” You look over to the quiet guy next to you and nudge him to give his order as you take your card out to pay for the two ice creams.
“I didn’t know you had a boyfriend,” Kun speaks candidly as your eyes widen as you turn to correct him.
“Oh, no we’re just friends,” You explain as Kun sets the two desserts down and pulls up the amount due.
“Yeah, we’re just- Hey!” Jaehyun notices how you’ve taken out your card to pay grabbing your wrist lightly to stop you as he slips his wallet out of his back pocket but he’s too late as you switch the hand the card is in and insert the chip watching as the transaction starts.
“Dang that’s too bad you’d be cute together,” Kun wiggles his eyebrows at you which Jaehyun doesn’t notice as he’s too bust shooting glares in your direction as you type the pin in.
“Thanks,” You smile at Kun before picking up the two ice creams and going to sit at one of the two people seating arrangements setting the two ice creams down and smiling at Jaehyun who still looks at you angrily.
“Jae, why are you so mad?” You sit down leaning forward head resting in your hand as you look at him.
“I should have paid for it,” Jaehyun pouts as you roll your eyes and hold up three fingers for the three points you’re about to make.
“One, it was my idea, two you drove, three you let me borrow your hoodie. The least I could do was pay for the ice cream,” You point out before grabbing your plastic spoon and digging in smiling at the sugary taste.
“Fine but next time I’m paying,” He determines as your mind starts to think about his word choice Next time? There’s going to be a next time?
“We’ll see,” You wink sticking your tongue out before another spoonful of ice cream causes you to grip your head in pain at the sudden brain freeze.
“What kind did you get?” You look over to the ice cream he got trying to finger it out, could it be rocky road? Coffee? Chocolate? There are so many flavors it makes it difficult. Yours was obvious with the bit of Oreo crumbs that sat on top.
“Guess,” He smiles as he picks up another spoonful holding it out for you to taste as you lean forward and eating the small spoonful of Ice cream before thinking and contemplating the taste.
“Chocolate?” You tilt your head trying to guess.
“Yup!” he says proudly.
“You’re basic,” You roll your eyes before taking a bite of your own ice cream happily.
“Can I enjoy ice cream without being harshly judged?” Jaehyun glares before digging his spoon into your ice cream and taking a bite letting out a small Mmmmm at the delicious taste.
“No!” You glare holding your ice cream closer to you he can’t steal anymore.
“But it’s good!” He pouts as your phone dings with a notification which you check and see Miyoungie Pop up with the message You can return now!
“After we’re finished can you take me back to my dorm?” You plead with Jaehyun who agrees to as long as you let him eat more of your ice cream to which you groan in response.
“FINEEEE,” You pout as he smiles his dimples very prominent as he steals another bite.
“Oh shit,” You hear after bumping into someone and you falling backward extremely hard to the point the breath in your lungs is no longer there.

As soon as the door opened you were greeted with a very tired looking woman who gives you a weak smile before stepping to the side and letting you in.
“He’s just at the store right now, he should be back soon though, do you want something to eat?” She asks as you step in and slip off your shoes placing them on the shoe rack on the open spot.
“Nah I’m good, how have you guys been doing?” You question after taking a seat in the small living room they had just after the entrance.
“We’ve been good, it’s tiring though,” She explains stretching lightly.
“Yeah, I can’t imagine with Sangook and now Haewon,” and as if on cue you could hear the sound of feet running on the floor before a small child runs around the corner spotting you before beaming brightly and running over. You pick the boy up and give him a tight hug.
“There’s my favorite nephew,” You say to his mom a smile spread across your face as the boy refuses to let go.
“He missed you a lot, so does your brother,” You frown slightly before the five-year-old let’s go looking up at you with such happiness as he signs something to you which you pay close attention to, as signing wasn’t something that was very natural to you yet.
I miss you, aunt, Your sister in law watches you closely as you respond, your focus completely on your nephew.
I miss you too You respond as his eyes light up with pure happiness and before you know it you have a full conversation with him, a few signs unknown to you but the context helped with understanding as he explains about school and some toys. You’re so immersed and hyper-focused you don’t even notice when the front door opens and your brother walks in hands full of bags.
“Hey to you too,” Your brother has to shout in order to pry your attention away from Sangook but it wasn’t a rude shout it was happier and he watched you communicate with his son with fondness.
“TAEYONG!” You shout happily getting up and running over to your brother who hugs you tightly.
“Hey little sis,” He ruffles your hair lightly, not enough to annoy you but just in his typical brother way.
“You won’t believe how much I missed you,” You explain thinking about the last time you had seen him.
“Then you should call more often,” He nudges you as you laugh knowing how much you sucked at reaching out to anyone.
“Yeah yeah, But I’m here now so let’s catch up!” You tug at his arm dragging him into the living room where he sits down on the small couch with his wife and Sangook on her lap and you take a seat on the floor. A Children’s cartoon on the TV while you talk relaxed with your brother and sister-in-law.
“So how’s sophomore year going?” Taeyong question’s raising an eyebrow and you know what he’s actually talking about.
“You’re worse than mom I swear!” You groan tired of everyone asking about your relationship status.
“I just want to make sure, you’re happy, I know you were devastated when you and Seonghwa had to split up,” Taeyong points out, and while it did hurt it was for the best.
“Look I understand why you’re concerned but I’m happy,” You smile reassuring Taeyong, who still doesn’t buy into it entirely but knows how much he should push.
“Hey, ____,” Taeyong’s wife, Jiri, speaks up a bright smile on her face as if she realized something.
“Since you’re single I do have someone in mind,” She nudges Taeyong who as if reading her mind knows what she means.
“I don’t like where this is going…” You mumble but she continues.
“Taeyong has this friend who’s a few years older than you attending the university and he’s recently single,” She relays the details smiling
“Look I don’t want to be anyone’s rebound,” You start knowingly that the end of one relationship meant a rebound was sure to follow, you didn’t want to just be that.
“It’s not like that, Just give him a chance you can ghost him if you want but for our peace of mind, just try and Taeyong will never pester you about dating again right honey?” She looks to your brother as he sighs but nods anyway.
“Fine,” You groan but hand your phone over for her to add the contact.
“I promise he’s very sweet,” She assures you before handing your phone back over, the contact name listed as J which confused you.
“J is his name?” You wonder out loud and Jiri laughs lightly shaking her head before actually explaining.
“No, but I don’t want you to make any kind of judgments before you actually talk,” She points out which is nice but you were left with so many questions it was unbearable.
“You guys worry too much,” You end up saying stretching out and turning your phone off telling yourself you’d text the number later.
“Yeah yeah, now we can stop talking about that and move on to something else,” Taeyong smiles before you beam and bring up a different thing to happen recently.
“I joined the photography club!” You explain excitedly as the memories of your first day came flooding back to your mind but more importantly, the very cute club president who was so invested in photos and art it was admirable.
Yuta was trying to enjoy some peaceful time to himself but that was short-lived because as soon as he walked into the house he was met with Heejin and Jaehyun sitting in the living room cuddled up together.
“Why is the rat here?” Yuta rolled his eyes as soon as the comment left her mouth.
“Be nice,” Jaehyun’s voice could be heard urging Heejin to stop with the comments.
“I thought I smelled something fishy,” Yuta frowned crossing his arms. The girl had a shocked look on her face as she turned her head up at Jaehyun, the look in her eyes had Jaehyun falling at her feet, she had no mercy as she brought her lips to his ear to whisper something Yuta couldn’t catch.
“Yuta,” Jaehyun let out an exhausted sigh as if Yuta was the one who started this, that he had provoked Heejin rather than the other way around.
“Jaehyun can I speak to you in the kitchen?” Yuta motioned his head in the direction of the unopened door. And as if it triggered Heejin she clung even closer to Jae, a death grip as to make him stay like some kind of boa constrictor.
“Can’t you talk AFTER the movie,” Heejin glares daggers at Yuta.
“Not really, this is important.” Yuta tries his best to keep his composure with the girl as he looks at Jaehyun.
“It’ll only be a few minutes I promise,” Jaehyun smiles at Heejin hissing her cheek before she silently removes herself from Jaehyun crossing her arms.
“Promise?” She looks up at him as he nods before following Yuta into the kitchen.
Jaehyun couldn’t see past that girl he first met who was slowly becoming someone unknown, he couldn’t see the smirk that crossed her lips or the way she acted whenever someone tried to pull him away even for a moment, what had turned into a simply clingy girlfriend turned into the only person in his life as she was slowly dragging him away from everyone, including the boys in the frat house he was LIVING with.
Yuta made sure the kitchen door was closed before he spoke, trying to find the words that wouldn’t upset Jaehyun.
“Jae, I understand that she’s your girlfriend but don’t you think you should let us know when she’s going to be over? A lot of us get home and just want to relax and sometimes she makes that difficult,” Yuta pinches the bridge of his nose.
“I understand but-” Jaehyun started with an excuse but Yuta wasn’t in the mood for what he had to say instead Yuta talked over him.
“No Jaehyun, The other guys won’t tell you this because they know how much you love her but I don’t care, you either let us know or she’s no longer welcome here.” Yuta puts his foot down and can see the conflict in Jaehyun’s eyes.
“And maybe spend some time with us every once in a while, I bet you didn’t even realize yesterday was Johnny’s birthday,” Yuta points out as Jaehyun’s eyes widen slightly with the realization he blanked on one of his closest friend’s birthday’s.
“I thought so, ever since you two started dating you’ve forgotten about us, your brothers,” Yuta shakes his head as he walks past Jaehyun and out the door of the kitchen to go upstairs and leave Jaehyun to reflect and think.
“What did he say?” Taeil, one of the oldest people in the Frat asks as soon as he walks into their shared room.
“Not much but he got the message,” Yuta sighed before plopping onto his bed and looking up at the ceiling.
“I get such a bad vibe from her,” Yuta expresses his concern.
“Everyone but Jae does, maybe he’ll just have to see it for himself before he realizes something is up with her,” Taeil sighs out.

You brought a fist up hesitantly, unsure whether you should knock or not, you aren’t even sure you have the right room. But you brought your fist against the door knocking to let them know you were here. A few seconds after the initial knock the door swings open almost hitting you in the face.
“I’m sorry!” you’re met with Jaemin’s Panicked face clearly not knowing you were that close to the door.
“It’s okay Jaemin,” You smile up at him before he grabs onto your wrist yanking you inside the classroom lightly. You take a glance around the class, there are different groups of people talking and smiling, one girl has a very heavy and expensive-looking camera and you can also see her arms are completely covered in tattoos and her hair has a variety of blue streaks in it making her stand out.
“This is the photography classroom, we use it for our club, of course, the teacher Mrs.Choi is here to make sure we don’t destroy her class,” Jaemin explains pointing to the woman who had caught your eye for her appearance.
You look around the room and the pictures on the wall taken by all kinds of people as you spot one in particular that you were interested in, in the picture, there was a blue butterfly that had landed on some type of log and you just thought it was a beautiful picture. Jaemin follows your line of sight to the photo hanging as he makes note of your interest in the picture.
“You must be Jaemin’s new recruit he’s been telling me about,” someone breaks your attention as you turn to the voice smiling nervously.
“The coffee girl,” Mrs.Choi smiles as you feel your ears redden with embarrassment as you twist a piece of your hair between your fingers, the woman’s voice was oddly soothing and quiet which contrasts her very loud appearance.
“Hey, Mrs.Choi, yeah this is ____,” Jaemin introduces you nudging you lightly to shake her hand which she had extended which you do.
“So what brings you to our club, why are you interested in photography?” She asks as Jaemin pats you on the back before leaving you to talk as he goes to greet and talk with the other club members.
“I want to get better, and I just find it so beautiful,” You keep it simple glancing back over to that butterfly picture and then talking some more.
“Jaemin will be a great help then, he’s very talented and has a good eye, he took that photo,” Mrs.Choi stands walking over to the wall before taking a picture off the wall leaving an odd empty spot before showing off the photo, it shows a very beautiful clearing in a wooded area and light hitting the freshly rained on area. You look at it in awe, Jaemin is extremely talented and clearly this meant a lot to him.
“HEY, sorry I’m late,” Someone announces as the door opens to reveal a very tall male with brown hair, he was dressed in a pair of jeans and a very simple gray hoodie, the voice felt familiar but you couldn’t figure it out, maybe it was just in passing you had heard it.
Johnny had struggled to get the door to the photography class open, his camera bag in one hand and iced coffee in the other as he managed to carefully twist the doorknob before pushing it open and announcing his late arrival to the dismay of some of the people.
A girl almost instantly looks up and meets his eyes blushing as she turns away before she fiddles with her camera taking a couple of test pictures. Johnny’s eyes locked with yours after a few minutes of looking around the room. It didn’t feel like a coincidence that you were here. Johnny made his way over to where you’re sat with Mrs.Choi talking before chiming in himself.
“Hey! You’re new here right?” Johnny raises an eyebrow before taking a sip of his coffee, you give the boy a smile nodding.
“Yeah, it’s my first day,” You explain and Johnny immediately realizes you don’t recognize him, you had your eyes fixated on the ground when he met you and you were in a rush so you weren’t taking note of him but he definitely was of you and he had a million thoughts.
“Yeah? Well, I hope you stick around, everyone is pretty welcoming,” Johnny smiles down at you, he’s a tower and you couldn’t believe his height.
“I know, Jaemin offered to help me out and teach me some things,” Your gaze drifts from Johnny to the blue-haired Boy who is laughing with someone before you look back up to the male. His mind is turning and thinking as he slowly develops a plan in his mind almost like a picture developing it slowly appears.
“Hey, Johnny,” A girl approaches the table her head down as she pulls Johnny away to talk about something you’re unable to hear before Mrs.Choi starts talking again.
“I think you’ll like it here, it’s all about angles, See when I look at a photo I might see a whale but in your eyes, you could see a butterfly, it’s all about perception,” Mrs.Choi explains smiling before she gets up patting you on the back and rejoining a different group leaving you to think about her words a bit confused but understanding it simply as to take a photo you have to find the best angle.
“Hey Coffee girl!” Jaemin smiles rushing over to where you are before engulfing you in a hug, his scent hitting you like a truck as he squeezes you tightly. Confused you raise an eyebrow at the sudden affection but that doesn’t stop the pounding in your chest and warmth that engulfs your face.
“What was that for?” You ask meekly barely speaking above a whisper as he shrugs slinging an arm over your shoulder.
“I don’t know, I kind of just like hugs,” He ruffles your hair lightly making you groan.
“You’re cute,” Jaemin pinches your cheek while you pout but don’t disagree.
Rep after rep after rep. Jaehyun is giving his all exerting as much energy as he can as he takes his confusion and confliction out on his body pushing himself.
Jaehyun lets out a breath as sweat drops down his entire body, he is drenched, hair sticking to his forehead as he checks his Apple Watch before taking a seat. Taking a break before his next set as he unscrews the cap of his water before downing it. With every movement, he feels his mind clearing up and better in general. That doesn’t take away from the many memories that came flooding his mind.
Heejin watched in annoyance as Jaehyun packed up his gym bag, placing a towel, water bottle, and other necessities inside it. Her phone vibrated with a text but she ignored it as her eyes watched her boyfriend’s figure. She cleared her throat to announce her presence in his room as she drove herself all the way over to the frat house to Yuta’s dismay as soon as he saw her smirking in the doorway.
“What are you doing?” She asks smiling sweetly before entering his room completely and him turning around to meet her eyes.
“Hey baby, I’m just getting ready to go to the gym. I didn’t know you were coming over,” He smiles going over and placing a sweet kiss on her forehead.
“Well, I texted you so you should have known.” She rolls her eyes when he turns his back to continue only to put on the smile when he turns back to her.
“Oh, well I didn’t get a text you’re free to stay and wait till I get back,” Jaehyun zips up the bag taking a glance around to make sure he’s not forgetting anything
“I know you did. Anyways why don’t you just stay with me?” Heejin tugs at Jaehyun’s arm pleading with the boy. Her voice came out as more of a demand which Jaehyun shook off laughing.
“How do you expect me to keep up my body that you love if I don’t go to the gym?” Jaehyun cocks an eyebrow smiling at his girlfriend who clung to him like a child.
“Then bring me with you,” Heejin let’s go, her arms crossed and a pout on her face.
“You hated it last time you tagged along saying that it smelled like sweat,” Jaehyun points out as he picks up his gym bag swinging it over his shoulder.
“Ugh fine then. I guess I’m not as important as the gym then.” She faces away from him coldly.
“You know that’s not true.” Jaehyun places a hand on her shoulder only for her to shrug it off with ease and walk further away.
“No, it’s fine! Maybe you’ll find a new girl who likes the gym and you can just leave me!” She swings her arms around exaggerated, she’s getting worked up.
“Hey, why are you acting like this? You know I love you,” Jaehyun frowns, walking over to her slowly trying to calm her down by not raising his voice at her.
“If you did, why would you want to leave me?” She accuses almost hissing it out at him.
“I’m just going to the gym Heejin,” Jaehyun groans in annoyance.
“Just go tomorrow, stay today,” She sighs, making Jaehyun out to be a bad boyfriend for not wanting to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend.
“Fine I guess we can compromise, but don’t complain tomorrow please?” Jaehyun asks as she runs over, giving him a kiss on the cheek wrapping her arms behind his head.
“No promises Jae,” Heejin whispers before kissing his lips to prevent him from asking her the same questions.
“Maybe we can do some exercise of our own unless you’d rather go to the gym?” Heejin asks trailing her lips up his neck and kissing right behind his ear eliciting a deep groan and she can’t help but smirk over the power she has, the control.
“I like that idea,” Jaehyun smiles, his dimples showing as he drops his bag back onto the ground picking her up with ease as she wraps her legs around his waist before he moves over to the bed.
Beep beep, Jaehyun’s watch goes off letting him know to continue onto the next set. He shakes the memory away but glances at his phone for a second as if she would call at any minute her annoyed voice asking every ten minutes if he was done yet.
