Adding my own experience here to show that it's not at all isolated incidences, it's a lot of people across platforms.
I ran a webcomic years back, that is discontinued now, and was on the receiving end of the bullying Viv used to do those years back. I publicly gave my side of the story and explained multiple times that all I wanted was an apology and to know that this behaviour would get worked on the future. I deleted my old personal accounts, took a break from the internet, and eventually came back and was resigned to just leaving my experience behind and moving forward. However, other people came forward with their own stories, and I restated mine to show that it wasn't an isolated incident - it was a pattern of behaviour and the other victims weren't alone.
Viv has accused me of stalking her, meaning harm to her, and has threatened lawyers on her end. She did this on her Bluesky, where I didn't have an account, so I had no means of giving my end of anything or contradicting anything she said.
She accuses me of being a stalker for: "harassing" her, "harassing" her family, and "harassing" her friends. I have attempted to contact her at multiple points in the past over public social media accounts and public avenues, and when she blocked me on Twitter, I left it at being blocked and gave up on contacting her directly.
I attempted to contact her sister once, specifically because Viv chose to make her sister an avenue for communication to victims. Viv sent her sister to contact another victim, April, and deliver a screenshot of a half-hearted "Sorry but also it's everybody else's fault but mine" apology. In this conversation, Viv's sister admits that Viv's friends used to attack other people on Viv's behalf and that Viv had issues with cyberbullying people, with the disclaimer that it was "all those years ago" and "she was young and dumb" (when she was 20+) to detract from the fact that she did, in fact, have proxies through which to attack other artists. April and I were peers, April contact me and said "Hey, Viv's sister is trying to resolve things with me, reach out and maybe she can help resolve things with you too." I sent said sister a DM over Twitter, I was blocked, I have made no further attempt to contact anyone in the family. If Viv doesn't want her family being dragged into "internet drama" I can totally understand that - but she's the one who dragged them in, because she refuses to face her victims herself if it isn't through other people, much like she harassed said victims through other people.
I have commented on Viv's friends' posts on Twitter, public avenues open to public commentary, because said friends have taken public actions against other people and I've commented on it. If they blocked me as a result, I made no attempt to reengage with them on my other account (I have two Twitter accounts for organizational purposes, one is my standard Twitter and one is 18+).
Viv also makes a point to emphasize that I have never worked with or for her - this is something I have never claimed, this is something her fans and her mob have claimed. They lump me in with other staff members, because they're convinced that people cannot have multiple negative experiences with her from multiple avenues. I had a webcomic when she had a webcomic, I got dragged into drama, I was harassed by her proxies who were also harassing other webcomics for having "similar styles" to her own.
Viv claims that I mean her harm, and I do not. My ideal for what comes out of this?? She reevaluates herself and her actions, takes a big dose of reality, realizing the hurt she's caused to other people, apologizes, and changes herself for the better by not continuing to hurt people and not continuing to treat cyberbullying and petty vendettas as some big game she has a toxic fandom as an advantage in. She brings up my having multiple accounts, because I did - I had a different set of social media accounts under my personal name before I adopted the current "Kedi" name that I have now. I used to o by "Kat" instead, hence why people still call me that. I have never hidden that I am Kat, I have never tried to deny that I am Kat, I have referred to my old accounts/webcomic numerous times. I deleted my old accounts because I needed a break from the internet and wanted to come back to a fresh start, I was dealing with the bullying I got from her and her peers, as well as some personal issues. When I was getting bullied by her and her friends, it started when I was taking college courses from home because I had to help my mother, who was battling cancer. I was going through a lot. There was so much rawness and hurt surrounding everything done to me because it was during such an especially hard time. I deleted my old accounts to distance myself from that, especially at a vulnerable time in my life, I don't see anything wrong with doing that. If she does, I hope she never, ever has to experience the same situation to ever fully understand, because it's awful.
Viv's fans also claim that I'm a "stalker" because I now screenshot my interactions with her proxies, I keep screenshots that my peers send me, and I take screenshots of what her mob of fans tell me. I do this because when I initially tried to come forward about the bullying I was a victim of, I was expressly told "You have no proof, you have no screenshots" and my testimonies were made to mean nothing without them. So I do have a habit of hoarding screenshots, because she put me in a situation that made it a habit. She has even expressly commented on a friend of mine's post herself with "You have no proof". So yes, I keep the proof now, this doesn't make me a "stalker". She has accused numerous other people of being "stalkers" as well, including Zizi for the heinous crime of being publicly critical of her designs, and April for the situation the apology even came up over. Viv was located in California, and April was located in Georgia - these states are across the entire nation from each other, and this is relevant. Viv traveled to Georgia, to April's hometown, to go to a convention there, and ran into April there by coincidence. April approached Viv when they saw each other, and said "Hey, I just want you to know, no hard feelings, just have a good time at the con." Viv took to Twitter to post now-deleted tweets about how April was a stalker, and that "her stalker" had tracked her down in a public place to approach her and threaten her. This resulted in April getting waves of death threats from the mob. Hence, the apology.
I have never been opposed to resolving this at all. If Viv wants to approach to me and speak on this and try to reach a resolution, I am open to that. I am willing to do so in a public avenue like social media, I am willing to do so in a private avenues like email or Discord, I am willing to do so in a call where screenshots can't be taken, I am willing to sign an NDA on the conversation if she's really that concerned with it. But I want more than anything for her to acknowledge the harm she's caused and I want her to go forward doing better by not enacting that same kind of torment on other innocent people. She treats people who helped bring her projects to life like garbage, she treated other webcomic artists like garbage, she treats peoples' hurt like a game or a tally. If she's going to choose to leverage lawyers as if that means anything, when I've done nothing wrong and I will stand by that, that's a reflection of her, not of her victims. It's been a pattern, and she's had no accountability and has made no changes for years. If she'd like to start, I am still open, I try to practice what I preach and I do try to be a forgiving person even when there's a lot of hurt involved. It's not my place to forgive every single thing she's done, because she has so many victims, but I am willing to talk if she ever finds it in her heart to see her victims as real people with feelings.
