Hate to see a transmasc egg thinking he needs permission to be a boy. If you want to be a boy, just do it. “But what if I don’t experience enough dysphoria?” Doesn’t matter. I didn’t ask if being a girl makes you miserable, I asked if being a boy makes you happy.
You don’t need an endless list of reasons to transition, you can transition just because you want to. You can transition just to have a deeper voice, just to have facial hair, just to use a different name, just to kiss boys in a gay way. It literally doesn’t matter. Do what makes you happy and fuck all the rest or whatever that gay little twink said in little miss sunshine.
@i-suggest-transing-your-gender
can you imagine being a parent in the pokemon world and your kid comes home with one of those straight up basically human pokemon. i know those motherfuckers can talk.
its morning. i see my childs Throh getting some oj from the fridge. 'morning', i say. he doesnt catch himself in time and says 'morning' back. he freezes and we both stare at each other knowingly. 'throh,' he says, but its too fucking late
Hey, so narcissistic abuse is an actual form of abuse different from physical/emotional abuse. This type of abuse leaves a different kind of impact on the victim(s) due to the abuser being a narcissist. Narcissistic abuse is more calculated and more precise than other forms of abuse, and the abuser is fully aware and conscious of what they are doing.
I also want to say that NPD is a very stigmatized disorder, people with NPD are not inherently abusive, and they deserve to be treated with respect. Not every abuser is a narcissist, and not every narcissist is an abuser. At the end of the day, I will fight for people with NPD. But at the end of the day, I am also a victim of narcissistic abuse. And by erasing the term, it invalidates my own abuse.
This is saneism.
Your experiences are valid, this term is not. Narcissistic abuse as a term encourages the continued stigmatization of NPD.
Plenty of people who abuse other people can be very much calculated and planned out without them having NPD. Your abuser having a specific disorder is not the reason they abused you, and saying it is also absolves them of responsibility, as it implies the abuse wouldn't have happened if they didn't have a specific medical condition.
I quite like this article. Please note it is by a therapist and they have an advertisement at the end.
Discover why the term narcissistic abuse is not be the most accurate term. Learn what language to use instead. Read more on our blog!
This is like saying you have suffered from "anxiety abuse" when your abuser has anxiety, "PTSD abuse" when your abuser has PTSD, "schizophrenia abuse" when your abuser has schizophrenia, "autistic abuse" when your abuser has autism, etc, etc, etc.
Do you not see how ridiculous that is?
Calculated emotional abuse can be done by any abuser. An abuser doesn't need NPD to be calculated. Adding [stigmatized mental health condition] in front of the abuse you suffered doesn't make it mean something new.
For the love of God, stop justifying your ableism through nonsensical claims of narcissism somehow making a person more calculated. That doesn't make any sense. Even if your abuser has diagnosed NPD, that doesn't mean they are suddenly a more calculated and evil abuser than one without NPD.
Things that work in fiction but not real life
torture getting reliable information out of people
knocking someone out to harmlessly incapacitate them for like an hour
jumping into water from staggering heights and surviving the fall completely intact
calling the police to deescalate a situation
rafting your way off a desert island
correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences
heterosexual cowboy
This post breaching containment has taught me that a lot of people seem to think they can accurately profile complete strangers. For the record, no the fuck you can't.
"I'm a guy but in a way that doesn't register as human" is such a god damn mood. masc for social convention, but ideally I'm a cool moth someone has never seen before and never since
It's my number one goal honestly
the removal of physical media is not the inevitable progression of improving tech, its like the removal of the 3.5mm jack: purely a result of profit physical games still account for about 1/5th of all sales of video games
but by only selling digital games sony can be the ultimate arbiter of their price. they can stop you lending games and force another sale instead. they can stop the sale of second hand games and keep prices artificially high. they can set any price they want and that will be your only option.

Ayoo just to preempt the inevitable dumb takes we’re about to start seeing;
I am PRO-WOOL
I am PRO-LEATHER
I am PRO-BEES
Fuck the idea of replacing durable, sustainable animal products with cheap, flimsy plastic that doesn’t bio-degrade. Agave nectar and other artificial sweeteners are expensive, labor-intensive, and destroy the environment to be farmed.
Do not buy into pernicious marketing campaigns pushed by dickhead organizations trying to stay relevant, like PETA.
“but the industry-”
listen there is a huge difference between an industry with problems that can be made sustainable and more humane, and an industry that cannot, given current technology, continue to the present degree without destroying our planet
Wool - Contrary to what bullshit mongers like PETA would have you believe, wool is one of the most ethical materials humans have ever worked with. Happy sheep make better wool, experienced shearers seldom nick their sheep, and older sheep produce more wool, meaning its best to keep them alive and treat them well for many years.
Leather - one cow makes SO MUCH leather. One deer makes SO MUCH leather. Well-treated leather lasts almost FOREVER. Even animals with small skins like rabbits, a pair of well oiled rabbit leather gloves will last decades. Every animal usually made into leather is also a meat animal, so it’s more sustainable to get more than one product from a single ethically butchered animal (humane kills make less punctures in the hide!) Leather can be tanned with natural resources like brains and doesn’t require treatment with chemicals that seep into the groundwater!
Cotton: Cotton is a fucking plant, it burns. The growing and harvesting of cotton is rather water intensive but it IS possible to sustainably harvest and reuse the water spent in the cleaning process to reduce the ecological footprint of the crop. It burns clean, it cuts clean, it’s sturdy, and there are 1000 ways to weave it to change its properties.
Bees & Honey: yes yes, the european honey bee is an invasive species, we know that. But honey has been cultivated by humans for just about as long as there have been humans, and they 100% choose to be cultivated. Like bees can and will leave if they’re not treated and maintained well. They understand that humans protect and clean the hives, and often become familiar with their keepers, choosing to walk on and investigate them instead of acting defensive. If animal welfare and consent are your concerns, honeybees aren’t the animals to worry about. If you, like me, are worried about native bee species, instead of creating hives you can strip an area of grass and leave an open area of clay and sandy soil to attract mason and digger bees to nest in the spring. They will happily coexist with honey bees as long as you plant the native keystone species the native bees rely on (like indian blanket flower, partridge pea, native violets in my area) as well as the high nectar plants that honeybees prefer (like roses, sunflowers, bee balm and cone flowers). Nature is actually really adaptable and accommodating of the human urge to cultivate plants and animals, and the idea that nature is ‘dead’ rather than ‘neglected’ is something that corporations want you to believe so you don’t oppose them spraying pesticides every 15 feet.
bigs my me at you
video: tiktok video of black woman talking to the camera, captioned "acoustic covers of rap songs being breeding grounds for anti-Blackness".
I hate how every time somebody makes an acoustic cover of a rap song, y'all be in the comments like "Wait guys, why are the lyrics actually kinda deep?" Duh! Of course the lyrics are deep. The problem is, some of y'all have a bias so deeply entrenched that you can't possibly fathom the fact that Black music can be deep, can be introspective, can be intellectual. Y'all turn on Vaughn and Durk and YoungBoy thinking like, "Ay, whoopty-woo, it's just a little hood jam." No, these - Yes, yes the songs are fun, I'll admit that, but these songs are talking about real life stuff. They're talking about losing people to gun violence. They're talking about substance abuse. They're talking about growing up in poverty. But again, unfortunately, the contributions that Black people make to art in this country are so commonly disrespected and invalidated to the point where y'all only ever appreciate rap when it's made palatable. When it's turned into an acoustic cover!
end video description.
you will never in a million years guess what the next line is if you've never seen the OVA this is from.

A poor investment
Putting the term "Catholic guilt" on a high shelf where fandom can't reach it until everyone learns how to identify characters who are very very clearly coded as Protestant.
