Doctor Whom

The word nerd in me, wants there to be a character called Doctor Whom, so badly. He has a sonic pen and travels the galaxy; correcting spelling and protecting us from bad grammar.

“Who am I speaking with?” Ask the bartender.

“With Whom are you speaking, Doctor Whom.“ Then he would chug back his martini or whatever intergalactic goop they serve on this planet, grab his plutonic travelling companion, Dictionary Jones (DJ) and they’d rush off enthusiastically to the library to play Words with Cybermen. When suddenly…

“Alliterate! Alliterate!” The Dialects enter, blaring robotically.

“Shhhhhh!”

DJ and the Doctor turn to look, coming face to face with The Silent Librarian.

“Shhhhhh.” The Silent librarian hushes, pointing over their shoulder at the approaching Dialect’s who are immediately turned to dust.

The Doctor and DJ look at one another.

“Who’s turn was it again?” Smiles the Doctor.
