More beautiful work by @CeruleanMindPalace
It be Halloween soon, so letâs dig out all those of my fics that would befit a dark, stormy nightâŠ
The Victim Experience (https://archiveofourown.org/works/26876107)
A case takes Sherlock and John deep into the seedy underbelly of the haunted attractions industry. With audiences craving more and more intense experiences, is a real murder the next logical step?
Flesh And Bone All Traveling Home (https://archiveofourown.org/works/5102897)
During a desolate night in Afghanistan, while watching over a dying soldier, John Watson meets an angel of death.
Smile Like A Paper Cut (https://archiveofourown.org/works/5653597)
Many serial killers are capable of leading outwardly normal lives hiding in plain sight as husbands, wives, scout leaders, doctors, policemen, soldiers and employers. What if Sherlock is one of them? And what if John discovers his secret?
Wait Till Victor Comes (https://archiveofourown.org/works/13278726)
âLots of children process grief the way Sherlock is now doing â by creating imaginary friends,â the child psychiatrist tells them at a family meeting. âItâs completely harmless.â Mycroft isnât sure at all about that.
So Closely Allied (https://archiveofourown.org/works/16531715)
She has always been a part of his life but now, she needs to leave.
the Hell Be At The Door series https://archiveofourown.org/series/493528 Two years ago, Johnâs marriage fell apart and he moved back to Baker Street. Things between him and Sherlock are still very much undefined, and John is certain that heâll have plenty of time to figure it all out. This notion proves dangerously false: strange things are set in motion when Sherlockâs long-lost âacquaintanceâ from university appears on their doorstep and a baffling burglary case frustrates Sherlock to no end. What is behind Sherlockâs black moods and dwindling health? Where is Mycroft? Why would someone steal artefacts from the British Museum that have interested nary a soul for decades? In the midst of this thickening fog stands John, who will soon have to take on an enemy much greater than even Moriarty.

Daleks by Laura Best (@utogeography)
A little amusement from long ago.
Still a good precaution. And definitely necessary for everyone for when life has returned to normal in like three years just in case you meet the love of your life and theyâre positive.
Couldnât share this fast enough.
Rebloging this to add a little more info because itâs very important:
Antiretroviral therapy when used correctly can cause the userâs âviral loadâ (your viral load is how much of the virus is in your bloodstream), to drop because the medicine prevents HIV from creating copies of itself.
Regular blood tests are done to monitor your viral load, and after taking the medication long enough, it can drop so low that it becomes âdurably undetectableâ. This means that the HIV virus in you has become so miniscule that it canât be detected, and by extension canât be transmitted either. Itâs important to note that in order to be considered durable undetectable, you MUST test as undetectable for at least 6 months after testing as undetectable for the first time.
Also very important, being durably undetectable does NOT mean that youâre cured or that the virus is gone, not by a longshot. The HIV virus is still very much there, but instead of being active, itâs gone dormant in a small number of cells called âviral reservoirsâ. This why itâs EXTREMELY important that even after achieving durably undetectable status, you continue to take your Antiretroviral medications correctly. Because if you stop, the HIV virus will reemerge from the viral reservoirs and pick up right where it left off in creating copies of itself, and you will have to start all over again if you want to become durably undetectable again.
This is great advice for people struggling with or know someone who has HIV.
Please do this. I can't lose another loved one to AIDS. I just can't.

I will certainly say this is one of my best works yet.
