I have a question for you that maybe you don’t feel comfortable answering, but if you do here it is. How do you manage to connect with faith? People in my community have such a close view on it that I thing goes against a lot of what it is supposed to be about (like kindness and companionship towards others etc) and they make it more of a political statement. I’ve been feeling extremely disconnected and it’s sad. And it’s because of people lol. So I was wondering if you have any advice. (Also I was waiting for you to wake up because what a treat this was today)

It makes me incredibly sad how religion has been used to oppress and discriminate against people because it has turned so many people away from the concept as a whole. In my opinion my faith is between me and God, the relationship I have, thus I don't really care much about the noise behind it. For me my faith brings me peace, joy and hope. It's a good thing in my life. I am not a believer or a follower because I'm afraid of punishment or the afterlife, that's not how it's supposed to be. Humans are inherently flawed and will keep making mistakes and committing acts of sin until the day we die but that's okay cause this is known by the one who created you, as long as you strive to be better.
