someone said it already but we can be happy that the world is opening its borders to ukraine but we can also be upset at how the global south, africa and palestinian and other arab immigrants are denied this type of treatment as well. i think that, one of my biggest fears was that ukrainian people would have no where to go, but i’m so happy seeing how the world is opening for them. biden is even considering opening american borders for ukrainian people.

but here in american black haitian immigrants are the most abused and deported by ICE followed by latin immgrants as well, especially those from mexico and guatemala. in the world in general, white and western countries are very harsh toward brown and black immigrants and their conflicts. so this is something that we should be able to talk about and it doesn’t take away from the ukrainian refugees.

I don’t know if this is old news already, but I saw someone on twitter pointing out that in this scene

it looks like Dolores knocks against the wall to signal Bruno that dinner is ready, and it could be true?

When she puts the plates down, she seems to look around as if to make sure the others aren’t paying attention to her (unlike her family, who just happily sings along).

Then she whirls around and seemingly knocks on the wall, only to lower her hand inconspicuously close to her body.

It might be a reach but it would be really, really sweet if she is actually doing this for Bruno, so I want to believe it was intentional :)
