If chance were cruel,And took you insteadTo whatever lay beyondBefore it had taken me,I should think it wouldDestroy me for good. An earth without youWould be barren of joy,A place where even theSimple charms of foodAnd fellowship fell short. The words required toSpeak to fill the silenceYou would leave hereWould be elusive andInsufficient at best. For clarity, when I said "don't push yourself", I didn't mean "don't ever test your physical and emotional limits"; I just meant maybe the Costco parking lot is not the place to conduct that particular experiment.
You think I'm just memeing here, but the Costco parking lot is in fact the perfect place to meet people who feel strongly that the only way to prove their manhood is to attempt to do The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift moves with a shopping cart containing two hundred kilos of Diet Coke.
i fucking love the matrix
Itās a Tree. There was a tree there. Folks cut down a tree, they usually donāt pull the roots, itās like a Whalefall for fungus and burrowing invertebrates. They feast for decades.
Itās tree roots. I know thatās not cool and adventurous but I promise you itās tree roots.
No, that's where they dumped the body of my good friend, Mr. Five by Five. We called him that because he was five feet tall and five feet wide. Perfectly spherical.
I know a fairy circle when I see one.

HEADS UP: The U.S. Postal Service quietly changed how postmarks work.
Mail is no longer automatically postmarked with the date you drop it off. Instead, the postmark now reflects the date itās first processed by an automated sorting facility ā which can be days later.
If you mail something right at a deadline, the official postmark could be later than your drop-off date and may be considered late.
If mailing date matters to you, go inside the post office and request a hand-stamped postmark.ļæ¼
A new USPS postmark rule may cause property tax payments to look late even when people mail them on time. The change can create surprise lat

I say we gotta start haunting this awful little man. get out your ghost and demon costumes. dress like his dead wife after she clawed her way out of the grave. follow him wherever he goes and pay overt and unsettling attention to no one but him. convince his addled, rotten mind heās already in hell.
we can do it! be the change you want to see in the world!!

Suddenly thinking of 1989ās The Little Mermaid and you know what, give Eric some props here because he had the weirdest fucking hour of his lifeā
Wakes up from hypnosis where he was about to marry a woman heās never seen before with his mystery girlās voice, the instant he wakes up then the cute girl heās actually fallen in love with now has that voice. Then she drops to the floor and has a fish tail, and then the first girl is suddenly cackling ātoo late!ā and bursting out of her skin. So it turns out sheās actually an octopus woman who drags herself over to the real mystery girl - whoās a mermaid?! Theyāre real?! - and taking her back into the ocean. And Eric has no idea whatās going on here but okay, one of these women is clearly evil and he needs to go after his mystery girl.
And all of this happens/he realizes what he has to do within like, a single minute.
Prior to this he was just living out a sweet romance after having a Meet Cute with a shipwrecked girl, but okay, guess heās involved in whatever the fuck this is. Acting first, questioning later.
And this is all before the kaiju attacks.
