I like the trope of the pred swallowing something that belongs to the prey and then the prey climbing in to retrieve said item back, but I can't stop thinking about a darker version of this trope.
For example - A pred has been stalking and hunting this particular prey for a while now, but they just haven't been able to send them down their gullet, where they rightfully belong. There are always other people around. The prey is always at work, or the pred themselves has business to attend to.
Of course, that doesn't stop the pred from talking and interacting with their prey. They make their intentions clear the moment they meet the prey, which of course, is terrifying for the prey. Nobody really wants to be eaten, after all...
Over time, the pred and prey develop a tentative relationship, and eventually, they strike up a deal. The pred won't snatch the prey up out of nowhere. Rather, if they can somehow convince/trick the prey into reaching down their throat for something, then the pred wins and they get to gulp the prey down and keep it. With the knowledge that the pred won't snap the prey up out of nowhere, they slowly become friends.
One day, the pred visits a prey while they're at home. They're sick of waiting. They want to feel this delectable morsel slipping down their throat and into their belly. So... They've been thinking hard about how to make that come true, and they've come up with a plan.
Things are normal at first; the pred and the prey are chatting and enjoying some warm drinks together. The prey's phone begins ringing. They apologize and explain to the pred that they need to answer it, as they've been looking for a new job and have applied to many places. Now is the pred's chance, they realize.
Before the prey can answer their phone, the pred quickly plucks it out of their hand, and, without a second thought, pops it into their mouth and swallows it down. (Bonus points if the prey was able to answer the phone, and the one on the other end can hear the pred gulp the phone down)
The prey, of course, is left stunned, and now they face a dilemma: risk sticking a hand down the pred's throat, and then getting swallowed down? Or lose their phone to the pred'a powerful belly?
The pred flashes the prey with a smug smirk, and then opens their mouth wide, as if encouraging the prey to just try and stick a hand in. They stare at the tight, flexing throat in front of them, weight their options...
(Bonus: The prey does take their chances... And it doesn't go well. They're very quickly and easily gulped down, all while kicking and screaming for the pred to stop. Once the prey is in the pred's stomach, they cough the prey's phone back up... And they hold it up to their belly, forcing the person on the phone to listen as the prey is mercilessly digested.)
