'theatre is dying' okay but everyone is flocking to see a beautiful hit musical now that it's been released in the cinema, something more affordable and accessible to most people, and ticket sales in the west end in particular have spiked

'cinema is dying' okay but everyone is flocking to their local cinema to see a beautiful hit musical, and so many have shown up this weekend that licensers decided to extend its theatrical release for another week, a massive rarity in the current climate

maybe the answer to saving art is... seeing art?? and making art accessible??

go see local theater, go see small theater, go on pay what you can nights, check for rush ticket prices, student prices, senior prices, group prices, see if their preview nights are cheaper, go to free arts festivals, library events, open mic nights and comedy nights at coffee shops and bars, go see kid’s theatre (even if you don’t have kids), go see plays at your local university (they’re often cheap or free) etc. I promise there is more free/inexpensive art around you than you think! you just gotta look and give things you haven’t heard of a chance!
