I was thinking of a pride art challenge people could do with their OCs, because I thought it'd be cute! A queer/trans artist with their creations.

but then I realised that same challenge would be infinitely more funny with folks who have atypical or horror OCs

Sansa meeting Margarey Tyrell in the Canine AU.

Sansa wanders away from the pack with Arya, curious about the dogs in town. She follows a pretty golden mix home and is taken in by Cersei/Roberts owners.

Soon enough Joff starts tormenting her with the help of a few Dogs from the local Junkyard.

Eventually a small female spaniel finds them and leads the male dogs away, sparking a friendship between the young wolf-dog and Margaery Tyrell.

Stannis family protrait for the Dogs of WesterStreet AU

I wanted to make the Dog breeds mostly match the characters Houses. So, The Baratheon Brothers are a mix of Newfoundland (Large dogs that helped rescue sailors) and German short haired pointer (A dog breed used for hunting deer aka Stags).

For similar reasons, Selyse is a Fox Terrier because the Florents house symbol is a fox and Cressen is a deerhound because I wanted a large, old man looking breed and hes been looking after the Baratheon family for decades.

Funnily enough, that makes Shireen essentially a Mutt. I've considered giving her mange, or a similar illness but since most of the dogs will be purebread or crosses, maybe being a mutt would work as a reason other dogs might look down on her instead.
