What just happened? Did you have a bad dream? You blink again, scratching the back of your head. It must have been a dream, it all feels so fuzzy now that you are trying to remember it.

“What is wrong with me?” you mumble, rubbing your hands over your face, “what the hell is happening with me?”

Ever since you set foot into this estate, your brain went into a total frenzy. You can’t concentrate, you do all these weird things, you say weird stuff out loud. Actually, now that you think about it, you agreed to go to a stranger’s house.

“Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me?” you murmur, massaging your aching temples.

You went to a stranger’s house without as much as even questioning why you were following him in the first place. You slept in a stranger’s house after going out with him once. And you saw nothing wrong with it. You literally saw nothing wrong with it.

You stare down at your own body. You are even wearing that weird nightgown, which was already waiting for you on the bed. It was waiting for you on the bed as if he had expected you to follow him home. And you saw nothing wrong with it. Nothing.

You touch it. Who did it belong to anyways? Why does it look so ancient? Why does everything here look so ancient?

“Do I need to get checked out?” you murmur, touching your forehead. Maybe you were having a fever. You always act like a total nutcase when you have a fever. But, your forehead feels normal to the touch, only adding to the confusion.

So it can’t be a fever. Maybe you were drunk last night. No, that is a silly thought. You remember drinking one glass of wine. It was just one. Just one, you can remember that it was only one. Right?

You roll out of bed, hurrying to the mirror. A gasp leaves you.

“What the fuck?”

A bruise had formed on your neck. It wasn’t there last night. You touch it.

“What did I do?”

It doesn’t hurt when you touch it. It is just….there. As if someone had left it there. Was it perhaps… Your thoughts are drifting off. Dim lights and green walls. Opera music, all distorted and out of tune. Voices, two of them. Then. A painful sting in your head.

“Ah crap”, you groan, hands falling to your head, “what the crap was that?”

What were those visions and why did they give you such a painful headache?

You lock eyes with your own reflection, touching your own face. You can feel it. Both on your face and under your fingertips. So you aren’t dreaming still. You are awake. Right? You are awake, aren’t you?

Jungkook storms up to Hoseok and Seokjin, calling out their names as he does. The two older men raise their heads from their dinner and watch him with curious eyes.

“What?” Seokjin asks, tilting his head to the side.

Jungkook stops running, bending over to rest his hands on his own knees. He is out of breath, which is very concerning for him. Jungkook is never out of breath, never.

“Are you alright?”, Hoseok says to which Jungkook shakes his head.

“You won’t believe who I just ran into!”

“Tell us”, Hoseok encourages him to speak, quirking up an eyebrow at him.

“Kim bloody Taehyung”, Jungkook says, gesticulating wildly.

Seokjin and Hoseok exchange a look.

“And why is that so bad? That dick is all over campus”, Hoseok says.

“Because that, that girl was him. Uhm, ___? Was that her name? The one girl that smells so good”, Jungkook explains, waving his hands around vividly.

“___? No way”, Seokjin is on his feet within a second, “why the bloody hell is she with him?”

Seokjin doesn’t even bother taking his dinner with him and he is already out of the chill out zone and down the hallway to the acting classrooms. Hoseok and Jungkook follow him. Hoseok with his’ and Seokjin’s bags and Jungkook with Seokjin’s half-finished dinner.

“Hyung? Hey! What are you planning on doing?” Hoseok calls after Seokjin.

“Stopping that bastard!” Seokjin answers him and then goes into a full on sprint. Not the normal sprint, but the type of sprint which is far too obviously inhuman. Jungkook and Hoseok exchange a look.

“Uhm…should we?”

“No Jungkook, too much attention”, Hoseok shakes his head and turns his attention to the hallway leading to the main entrance, “you take this route, try to catch them before they can leave.”

“Yes, alright!” Jungkook blurts out and then he is already running down the hallway.

Jungkook runs as if he was running for his life. He knows that somehow he is, even if it wasn’t his life he was running for. That girl, that one girl that visited them last week, the one with the amazing scent surrounding her. He is running for her life. Jungkook looks over his shoulder and to both his sides. Fuck it, he thinks, there is no one here to see him. And with that he speeds up, knowing very well how he risks his secret being exposed like that. But if he is fast enough, nobody can see him. He just has to run, run and run.

There! He can already see someone standing by the entrance. Two people, they are talking to each other. Could that be? Jungkook speeds up some more, only to completely stop a second later.

“Hyung?”

The two people turn around. Hoseok and Seokjin, they seem panicky.

“We lost them”, Hoseok says, fidgeting with his own thumbs.

“No way…hyung…this was my fault, I should have-“

“No Jungkook, don’t blame yourself. We should have kept a better eye on her”, Seokjin insists, shoulders sagging.

“Well, what are we going to do now?”

Today is the first day of classes. Rainy and gloomy and also surprisingly chilly. But what you learned from your two weeks of living in your new hometown, weather such as today was of the ordinary.

“Thank you good sir”, you thank the cabdriver and give him the required money. You hadn’t quite figured out the bus system yet and in fear of missing your first classes, you decided to take the safe route and call a cab instead. The drive took a good twenty five minutes and was filled with the humming of the old car and the occasional loud coughing of the elderly cabdriver.

Yoongi waits for everyone to buckle their seat belt but you don’t, frozen watching him in the window, the rearview mirror when he gets into the front seat. Yoongi doesn’t even get around to starting the car, sliding the key home but the beep goes once, twice, and then a third time because you don't have your seatbelt buckled. The others wait in silence. 

“Yoongi-“

“Fuck!” The curse is loud and perfunctory. He kicks open his door again with a stream of spat explicative. Slamming it shut this time. The others don't say anything, completely silent in the face of his anger.

Yoongi doesn't get angry. You've never seen him like this before. 

He wrenches your door open and for a horrible moment, you think he's going to yank you out of it and tell you to get lost. 

Yoongi's murmuring things to himself, so low that you almost can't make out what he's saying as he pushes himself into the back seat. The backseat of the Lambo isn’t that large. Hardly big enough to fit two people let alone four. Jungkook lets out a belated “Hey!” but Hoseok just reaches around him and unlocks the door for him to get out. Jimin is already out of the passenger seat and heading in the direction of the driver's side as Yoongi scrambles with your seat belt, jerking it over your shoulder and slamming it home.

"-Fucking asshole- of all the stupid omegas in the world I had to be mated to the fucking- dumbest- little- fucking-" The belt digs into your shoulder extra tight and Jimin starts the car wordlessly. 

You're closed in on both sides by him and Hobi on the other. 

They switch and shuffle. Jimin pulls away from the train station, gentler this time but still faster and with more finesse than you'd do it. Yoongi is still looking at you, glaring, tears in his eyes with wet cheeks, his voice low and uncompromising. 

“Give me your phone.” 

“My what?”

“Your. Phone. You used it to call her didn’t you?” You nod after a second, slowly pulling it from your sweatshirt pocket and handing it over. 

Yoongi takes your phone and breaks it over his thigh.

It’s a bit impressive really- the show of strength. He brings it down once and the screen breaks, winking out like a shooting star. Another and it bends just a little, a third time- and it’s practically at a right angle. It breaks so easily in the face of adrenaline and anger and fear. 

You make a small noise, not a whimper but a descending sound. Yoongi raises his eyebrows at you, wild. Like he’ll break even further if you complain. Hoseok’s not sure he’s ever seen Yoongi this broken. Never.

"Just- There were pictures of Noodle and Tae on there.”

Fear and anger are an intoxicating mix to anyone- let alone someone who almost lost their person. He goes at your phone until its jagged edge bites into his hand drawing blood. Then he tosses both pieces of your phone onto the floor of the car like they're paperweights. 

One of the pieces hits your shoe with a small metal clink, and even hobi looks down in surprise at the sound. 

Yoongi laughs and then bends over. yanking the gun out of your boot. Small, shoved there. Hoseok didn’t notice. He's not sure why it surprises him- that you'd be armed. You're not an idiot, you know the risks, and you were armed the last time that you tried to run away.  

He holds it out to you, long fingers wrapped around the barrel pointed at his chest. The handle facing you, the barrel of the gun level with his heart.

San’s eyes widen slightly, his hands stilling, while Wooyoung’s arm tightens around you and he immediately turns his praises on you. Of course you did well, he assures you. What a fucking champ, taking it all like that. Their good girl. How lucky they are with you.

You bite your lip in a small smile as Wooyoung’s words hum sweetly through your veins, but San frowns in concern.

“Did something happen?” he asks, still gentle but a firmness layered underneath. “Something worrying you?”

“Well—” you say, already feeling awkward. “I said ‘yellow’…”

“As you should have,” San says, even firmer this time. “Are you feeling guilty about that?”

“A little,” you admit; the people-pleaser inside you is a bit ruffled by bluntly asserting a boundary. “I know I shouldn’t, but— but I kinda feel like I should apologise.”

San shakes his head and squeezes your hands tightly. “Don’t you dare. If anything, I should say thank you. For helping me to keep you safe and feeling good. That makes it feel good for me too.” He breaks out another smile, his dimples joining in. “I felt good today. I hope you did too.”

“He really means all that, you know,” Wooyoung chimes in. “About thanking you. Never met anyone who cares more about this stuff than San here.” He leans in, lowering his voice to a conspiratorial hush. “I swear, he almost nutted on the spot the first time I yellow-ed him.”

“You’re never gonna let that go, are you?” San says, rolling his eyes with a flustered flush burning across his face, and you relax with a giggle at their familiar bickering and warm reassurances. “I mean,” San mumbles sheepishly, “ideally you’d never have to use a safe word at all; but as convenient as it’d be in a situation like this, I can’t exactly read your mind—”

“Hey, hey,” Wooyoung cuts off San’s ramble with a laugh. “C’mon, you know I’m just teasing!” He grabs San’s chin to smack an exaggeratedly wet kiss on his cheek. “You’re the fucking best. Who needs a mind reader when we’re doing this together. You got our back, we got yours.”

San sighs in resignation, trapped by Wooyoung’s firm grip on his chin as Wooyoung makes a show of lavishing his face with loud, dramatic kisses — but you don’t miss the way his shoulders release tension, and his hands relax around yours.

You feel a burst of warmth at the obvious affection on display in front of you, and your guilt fades.

Finally Wooyoung lets San go free and cuddles up a little closer against you, while San presses up on the other side. Sandwiched between them, you blissfully surrender yourself to their attentive aftercare. And once you feel solid enough to move again, they both insist on escorting you the whole thirty paces from San’s bedroom to yours.

The gesture is excessive and unnecessary to the point of being silly. You burst with friendly affection for them.

Another masterpiece !! Like seriously, this series is so amazing!! Every time I'm excited with the developments happening in between them, and I'm even more excited with what is gonna happen !! She finally got that D so we're happy for her. San could not wait and honestly I get it. And woo could wait even less, his dick was thinking for him at some point I'm fairly certain.

But I'm also slightly scared of the possible attachment issues between them, especially with her being aro. Do I'm looking forward to see what you're gonna do with the story !!
