Nina Dobrev is apparently leaving TVD?

... What exactly is the show going to be about without the POV character? That show needs to be put out of its misery. It used to be so good and now they can't keep their mythology straight and they keep recycling the same crap over and over. Character loses a parent. Character turns off humanity and others scramble to help him/her find it again. Elena acts like a self righteous brat. Elena strings along a Salvatore brother. Bonnie suffers. Stefan broods. Torture Damon. Kill Jeremy (and/or Bonnie). Matt is just... there. Insert random character that no one really knows why they're there. Character rises from the dead. Convenient magical loophole saves the day. Caroline is a spectacular queen who rules over it all (until she recently became the victim of several of the above recycled storylines). Remember when our biggest complaint was the moonstone? Those were the days.

I've seen a lot of hate for Delena and the timing of their kiss or their chemistry or whatever haters are hating this week, but my main gripe is why the hell does Elena suddenly love him if her only memories are the bad ones? I am going to need some sort of explanation, even if it's just "I have these bad memories but I can't reconcile them with the way I feel when I look at you." Boom. Explained. Something. Anything. It took her 3 years to fall fully in love with him last time, so it feels really rushed and unexplained this time. Also, "life is too short?" Really? Vampire. Immortal. Pretty sure you've got some time to figure shit out...
