Boring old werewolf instincts:
Sexual jealousy
Constant aggression
Rigid hierarchy
Must win sports
Homophobia And Sexism Is Normal™
Eat people
Cool new werewolf instincts:
There is no five second rule
Corvids are friends
Hang out as a pack
Karaoke
Gotta pee
Also consider:
Separation anxiety
Unconditional love and loyalty
Being able to sleep in almost any situation or position
Irresistible urge to chase squirrels and rabbits
Hating the vacuum cleaner
Wanting to do everything with friends
Loudly and repeatedly announcing to housemates that someone is at the door
Long, shouted conversations to other werewolves across the neighborhood (bonus points at 2am)
Taking advantage of any and all free food
Werewolf-vampire solidarity
Fighting any animal that trespasses into the backyard
Boundless energy
Too much energy
Eating out of the trash if it smells tasty
Being bad at sports because you don’t want to let anyone else take the ball from you. Then destroying the ball in front of everyone because you want to make a point
Trying to fight things 10x your size like a fucking idiot
Being unable to hold a grudge for more than a few hours
Trying to make people feel bad for you over mundane things that aren’t actually that bad. And somehow succeeding.
Snoring
Needing to try a bit of your friends’ food, even if you’ve tried it 5645674 times before and have never once liked it
Getting way too friendly with random strangers
Being in a love-hate relationship with water
Digging. For no reason.
Thinking you’re a badass despite being a hyperactive ball of emotions and hedonism
Loud sobbing while pressing yourself up against the sliding glass door at your friends who locked you out because they were tired of your bullshit and wanted some goddamn peace and quiet
Okay this one is a gem:
“ Loudly and repeatedly announcing to housemates that someone is at the door “
No alpha/beta/omega werewolves because science figured out LONG ago that that concept is, for wolves, incorrect.
@margoteve @followmetoyourdoom
So most of these are very dog oriented, which makes sense to me, since dogs are just wolves that have co-evolved with us for thousands and thousands of years BUT I wanted to add a few that are wild wolf based:
Multigenerational households!
Kids get really excited when someone comes home with groceries
“I can HELP put away the food!” “Oh, and have you whisk away the ice cream like last week? I’m fine, dear.”
Love to travel and follow food trends
Mostly very social and must have roommates/family/significant other/kids/friends around
However, not uncommon to travel alone for periods of time, especially after leaving home
Big friendly communal meals with lots of ritual around who gets served in what order
“Let grandma take her pick of the turkey first. It’s respectful, and she won’t take kindly to you cutting the line.”
Full pantries, stocking up on basics, the kind of people who always have extra oatmeal, or batteries, or a jump cable
Can hold conversations using body language and eye contact without saying a word
Cuddlers, especially with the social group
Yelling to get everyone to gather, and phone chains for anyone who lives further away
Lots of singing, the pack has a bunch of favorite songs that everyone knows by heart, and some may be song writers
“Can you smell this? Does this smell weird? Does this smell good?”
Lots of candles and incense with unusual scents
Passing houses and farms and land down through generations
Love home renovation
Communal child care and sometimes communal nursing
Kids are all really into wrestling and being outside
When someone is ready to leave the household, the younger they leave the further they tend to travel. Someone who leaves at 18 might go to another country, but someone who leaves at 26 might just move a town away.
Whether someone moves far or close to home, it’s not unusual to move back in at home a few times before settling down
“You know the futon is always open for you. Your cousins are in your old bedroom, but you’re always welcome!”
Kinda grumpy about neighbors pushing property boundaries
“Why do they have to let the damn mulberry tree hang over OUR driveway?”
Good endurance runners
Late walks at night, naps in the middle of the day
Really playful, especially with kids
Lots of rough housing and board game nights!
I’ve been looking for the one with the wolf-aspects added for a while and I found it again! Reblogging for A+ extra wolfy content!

I love everything about this
LOL man.
never forget white people did nothing first neither the best, they sleep and eat false propaganda,
Ugh, why the shit does that have to turn into a race thing? Why does EVERYTHING have to turn into a race thing?
because white people have made sure that everything is about race
as proved by the fact that when you say explorer, you think of a bunch of white guys walking the world and discovering it ~exotic wonders~ even though Zheng He travelled through Asia, to the Middle East, and even East Africa. But you’d likely never heard of him before.
Same reason you never heard of Ahmad Ibn Fadlan, an Arab traveller who, as early as the 10th century, went to the Volga area for diplomatic reasons. He wrote about it, much as Marco Polo would do later for his own travels, and is one of our sources on what viking were like (and by all accounts, he wrote about them more accurately than western scholars of the same period did)
Oh, or Ibn Battuta who travelled throughout Africa long before europeans did, and even went to Europe himself.
And that’s just some example of Muslim medieval travel writers
Everything is about race because white people keep telling everyone that their race is the only one who every got anything done.
i have heard of precisely zero non-european explorers ever in my life, and that fucking sucks. this exhibit is amazing and i need to learn more.
That boat is a frickin aircraft carrier comparatively. Holy crap. And no. Never heard a peep.
Zhenghe went to over 40 countries in Asia and Africa and probably went even further, but I didn’t encounter that in history books before. He brought gifts from China to every country he went to and everyone loved him. It was just like “Hey, I’m here with a water-helicarrier and a gift,” and the kings of every country were lilke “holy shit son well here have a giraffe.” There are paintings depicting him leading a giraffe as well. Check him out guys, he’s really cool
That is so awesome. Fuck western history. This is the real shit.

Recommended anime for adults.
I know there’s other posts of this nature, but I felt like doing my own spin on it. Obviously adults are free to enjoy and appreciate all kinds of anime so if you’re someone who enjoys anime that happen to be geared at a younger demographic that’s great. Just don’t expect them on this list as I was aiming to focus on anime that I feel have a mature audience in mind. So here are, in no particular order, anime I’d recommend for adult audiences.

This is my basic process for pretty much everything I draw. The key is understanding the shape of the garment you’re trying to draw and the shape of the body part you’re putting it on.
Drawing the body first forces you to make the shoe, hat, or clothes fit that body. With practice you’ll be able to skip some steps. This method works the same no matter the perspective or pose. It just relies on your knowledge of what a hat looks like from above, or what the bottom of a shoe looks like. When in doubt, just google refs. Don’t necessarily need the exact angle you’re trying to draw. Look at different pics to give you an idea of how it works in 3d.
Shoes are always a bit tricky because feet are a stupid ass shape.
It might help if you think of hats as a cylinder fitted to the person’s head to help you get the perspective right before you push in detail. note: heads aren’t circles. they’re kind of egg shaped if you look at them from the top.
I wanted to download We Will Rock You, but…
everytime i hear this my lungs hurt from laughing
I just fOUND HTE BEST GIF OMFG
I HAVE LOOKED FOR THIS LONGER THAN I HAVE BEEN ALIVE
37chickenducks
No, no, these .gifs are terrible to go with this song.
You need something like this:
ITS BACCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!
I’m crying pls listen
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS OMG
I always troll my friends with this
This sounds like it’s being sung by a passive-aggressive 1920s radio host wearing a very dapper suit and threatening me with a cartoonishly small pistol, bearing a large grin on his face that indicates that he will not hesitate to put a hole in my forehead, not for a second
digital artist with social anxiety
my emotions have indelicate hands they clamp on the stylus and drag a thick line absent nuance or variation
I know all the hotkeys, but the program still freezes
my lineart’s on the conversational sketch layer an uncomfortable mistake in need of untangling
I flatten and save the .psd, realizing only the next morning the bad ways you might have taken Layer 47
despite Googling extensive reference, my poses are awkward and my expressions are stiff
I have forgotten to save you at least three times now and once again, I am re-doing the progress lost in the fallout, praying it’ll turn out better than before
my emotions have indelicate hands but unfortunately, turning down the pressure sensitivity probably won’t make me less sensitive to pressure
Disclaimer: I’m completely self taught so my art is not necessarily anatomically correct nor realistic. This is just how I personally draw shoes.
Chunky Big Shoes !! Shoes are one of my absolute favorite things to draw so I’m glad you like how I draw them! these are the only real tips I have lmao. I always just make a vague shape (sorta,,,looks like a cartoon steak or smthn) and then draw the shoes.
Overshoots and Mini Anticipations lecture from my Complete Introduction to 2D animation package.

howdy!! i really enjoyed that stimmy leo pic!! how did you do the hand flap motion??
Hi, thank you so much!!! To learn how to draw hand flapping, I recommend studying animation smears.
Rise uses this technique a lot, pause just about any fast-paced sequence and you’re sure to find smear references!
That being said, I drew this little tutorial up real quick to show how I do it:
I hope that helps!!
I have finally done it: I have done a process of how i paint weeeeheeee This is a quick tutorial of how i paint portraits (since thats mostly all i do lol) excuse my unprofessional language. I just tried to transcribe the dialogue that was going on tin my head. As you can see there is a lot of junk stuffed in there (・ω・●) I just want to thank all the kind people who have sent me messages and kind regards. The love in the air is drowning my lungs. This is how i paint generally. I have also been asked how I started painting with colors. A while after I moved to the States, I had an art teacher and he put me under a limited palette method: it was painting with just ultramarine blue, brown sienna, and white. It was meant to teach you how to use warm and cold contrasts. Then slowly he allowed me to use other colors. I’ve grown used to thinking about contrast all day now. There are still many things i’d like to improve. I’m chasing after a few masters. The illustrators I LOVE LOVE LOVE are: George Barbier, Kay Nielsen, Ivan Biblin and Leyendecker. You probably know them already. Their stuff is only too good. So here you go!!! I hope you will enjoy it :)
this is my own personal method and it might not guarantee results, but don’t overwhelm yourself and start small if the canvas is too intimidating. starting small also makes me more open minded to creating more dramatic poses. don’t overthink and have fun! hope it helps!
answering asks #13
sorry wait LIMA BEANS????
hell yeah!!!! pathologic deserves more content. if you post your art in the tag there’s a non-zero chance i’ll see it because i check that shit daily
your grandma has seen my art…..very intimidating. but thank you im glad you enjoy it!
hrgghghgh im changing my brush settings a lot lately because im trying to find one that works for me. but here’s my current settings for my main brush (btw i maintain that brush settings are relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of art. most brushes will work fine for any purpose. tailoring texture/pressure sensitivity/etc. is just the cherry on top)
^w^ thanks!
i was planning on making a full tutorial for this but then university ground me under its heel lol.
essentially for semi-realistic eyes you want to take the basic recognizable components of the eye and simplify them–generally ive seen artists draw the upper lid, the lower lid, the iris/pupil, the eyebrow, and that’s it. so long as the anatomy is realistic it won’t look too cartoony.
legitimate realism gets involved when you start drawing each lash, putting highlights each tearduct, etc. But, i think there’s a lot of wiggle room when stylizing eyes, based on your preference. just experiment and see what you like best!
(also hell yeah h/otline miami. i have very specific eye headcanons for the fans)
that’s great!!!!! anatomy is a critical but difficult thing to learn in art so im glad i could help :D
