Background information:

These two are Arash (black hair) and Eden (white hair) they're a deity couple that quite literally balance one another out, they're both still dealing with things from the time before they ascended to godhood and are supporting one another in various ways.

Eden doesn't wear gold because in his past life, he'd been told that gold was to be worn only by women and thus Arash wears it for him as he knows how much the other loves it. Arash doesn't like being touched as he is highly sensitive, though he yearns to touch himself, and as such Eden makes sure to give him the space he needs and making sure that his touch is always light like the butterflies and moths Arash is associated with.

They affect one another's sense of fashion and at this point it's hard to tell who got what from whom.

I know, I know, these challenges are usually all colourful and all that jazz, but I prefer to work in monochrome and I... may have never actually given this man a colour scheme- but if you want to give it a try yourself, you're more than welcome to! Additional challenge!

He's part of a pet project of mine, and I figured that I'd slowly start to post them over time. I really want to talk way more about these characters but Ajdjajdj i don't want to overshare and then ruin potential surprises.

Oh also, he could be considered bisexual by human standards, and he has a male presenting lover in a fellow god.

Working hard on studying plus sized bodies so I can draw a single panel of two happy ladies getting married to one another (my goal is to make this woman the prettiest entity seen on this planet).

My current source of stress regarding this is the realisation that I have to design two wedding dresses for these girlies and wedding dresses are COMPLICATED AS FUCK.

Wizards, witches, druids, sorcerers, and enchanters of tumblr, I have an important question that needs to be discussed.

Do magical girls and boys also belong within the council? How about the other transforming heroes such as the much loved super sentai? How about the transformers? I must know which entities are still invited into the council, preferably with a full list of participants and the seat order for the meetings.

So a while back there was this redraw challenge for the Perfect Blue poster and I ended up doing my own spin on it at long last.

.... and it turned into a bit of vent art (which is a first for me). I won't get into any of it because frankly speaking that is my cross to bear and a mess to untangle, but at least the art turned out nice.

Another Michael Myers, this time more in my style (I need to study cars at some point, what the absolute hell).

So I was bothered by my first attempt at drawing Michael Myers, so this time around I did the unthinkable and used multiple references of the original 1978 movie, zoomed in more, and used a pose reference.

Original pose was by @adorkastock , just a wee bit edited by me because I couldn't find pose that I needed with a knife, nor could I find pictures of a knife from the angle I needed so YEET.

Oh and I somehow was under the impression that Michael's eyes were blue but the original actor's, Nick Castle, eyes are very much brown. I have absolutely no idea why I thought that, I need to reprogram my brain.

So, I've been drawing a lot traditionally lately, trying out markers and trying to figure out how to use them (I used to never colour my drawings growing up so, there is a bit of a learning curve for me)

Michael Myers (I have never drawn this man in my life nor watched any of the movies, but he lives in my head rent free due to the Merkins' parody videos).

Magical Girl Leatherface (also lives in my rent free only because of the Merkins. Haven't seen that movie either).

A redraw of a holiday slasher I made up called the Pilgrim.

A little something I wanted to try, designing horror movie antagonists based on the following tropes: Killer Doll (Chucky, Annabelle, etc), Holiday Slasher (Ie Michael Myers, etc), Masked Undead (Jason Voorhees).

#I just want to point out that looms in the 18th century were massive#people didn’t really weave at home at this point#so these were huge and semi complex machines about the size of a mini cooper#and I just love the idea of ‘get out your 18th century loom’ like it fits in a craft drawer somewhere

this was pretty much the joke, yes - was talkin w/my mom about those tutorial videos that go "this is an easy DIY thing, super cheap!" then suddenly the next shot is of them using expensive tools most people do not already own

My friend Mame hit thousand followers on Reality last month and though I was in a slump due to both personal life kicking my ass and me having no idea how to render the background items, I somehow finally managed to finish my gift for her. With two haircolour options because I originally had picked the wrong colour (her hair is silver) but I liked the more pinkish tone too much to scrap it.

So I don't know anything about Pokemon and I've only played Pokemon Go myself, but I want to learn to draw in that style and proceeded to do a bit of a study of the infamous Sugimori style. This is specifically the Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee style and pose of the main character Kakeru/Chase, but I think that I'll be attempting to learn the Sun/Moon Sugimori style as out of all the styles I've seen, I like it the best. Also, it should be easier for me to learn. Now if only I could wrap my head around how drawing the pokemon themselves works....

I do plan on playing the games through one day, but today is not that day (has too much to do first).
