Sand watches the other quietly, little puffs of smoke leaving the sides of his mask as he seems to judge the other. He notes the wood the other has, yet with the way they hold themselves he can guess they aren’t at all scared.
“I suppose not…“ The other is just wandering the forest like he is, if he understands them right. “But… Do you have a reason to wander…. or did you just end up here?“ His newfound tail gives a little flick as he waits for the other’s answer, almost curious at what they might say.
Kagi’s head cocks as he considers the question. “Both, I suppose. It was not my choice to come to this world, in its current or earlier form. It was my choice to travel this land. As for a reason . . .” he shrugs, “I suppose it’s simply ‘in my blood.’“
Kagi, for all he’s generally willing to talk, prefers listening to others, and thus tries to redirect the conversation.
“And what of you? Are you searching for bandits to scare off or do you have some other purpose?”
