Honestly I’ve waited over a decade for an adaptation of this book that made me feel the utter and heavy sadness I felt at the end when I finished it. And finally Guillermo delivered. Idk. I always knew he would.

And idc who plays Victor you bet whenever I draw him I’m going to make him look absolutely unhinged. Bc he is.

So yeah. Thank you Guillermo for so faithfully adapting a story that had such a major impact on me as a teenager. And doing it well. So pls watch this movie and pls if you haven’t, read the book. (And thank you Mary Shelley for blowing my mind when I was about the same age as when you first came up with it. Nuts. And I’m sorry that you had to publish it anonymously all those years ago, purely bc men can’t deal with the fact that a woman could write - the first sci-fi I’ll add.)
