Kitty and me missing his dad, who was in Vegas for the weekend.

Junior tends to cover his nose like this when I make something particularly pungent and spicey.

I got him a water fountain as a late Christmas present because he wasn't that into the cushion I got him. He was ecstatic. He kept dunking his paws in the water. He also tried to smell it, but kept inhaling it into his nose. Then, he would run around, all excited, report to me, them go back for another round. I had to put towels around it to try to prevent the water from soaking into the carpet.

He isn't so confused or excited about it now, but it still entertains him enough.

Some progress on the corner 10 gallon set up... It's planted and occupied by Topaz and some trumpet snails. I drilled holes in the cabinet so I could keep the cables and tubing inside and tucked away. I'll organize the inside better later.

The growth on Topaz is the main reason why I isolated him. I've been trying to figure out what it is. It was originally all white, but now his scales are starting to grow on it. Is it a tumor? Is it viral? Bacterial? If I knew what it was, I could try to treat it. I've been dosing the tank with Ich meds. It doesn't seem to work. The growth seems to have gotten worse and bigger even. I might try parasite meds soon. I'm going to look into having anti-fungal meds ready to go. If anyone can give me some advice, tell me what I'm doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.
