i have a headcanon that sasuke cuts his bangs intentionally to resemble his mother's. canonically there was a rumor in the academy that he liked girls with longer hair (because they remind him of his mother). so i feel like sasuke had a fixation on his mother's hair when he was a child that subconsciously extended into his teenage years.

I think the only headcanon I have for Sasuke that stays consistent regardless of au is that he’s demisexual. He could be with anyone depending on the universe and he could be any degree of traumatized, but he will never fall fast. It’ll take years of being friends with someone and having each other’s backs before he slowburns his way into romantic/sexual feelings, and it’ll probably also take time before he realizes those feelings.

Sasuke is used to having women chase after him. For most of his life, he'd just ignored it. It wasn't part of his plan to kill his brother and avenge his clan.

And then he completed his goal. And then he learned the truth about everything. Itachi wasn't evil after all, just the leaders of Konoha.

After the war, there aren't as many women chasing after him. Funny how being a criminal will do that to you. Oh and he doesn't count the women who chase him because he's a criminal or because they swear he's innocent. Sasuke knows what he's done. He knows he has a lot of work to do to make up for it.

But someone eventually does win his heart. Someone kind, patient with him, understands what he's been through, who doesn't want to change him, but inspires him to be a better version of himself.

When he asks her out on a first date, he's surprises himself by knowing exactly where to take her. They go to a small teahouse. It's been rebuilt, but it's almost the same as he remembers. They order tea and sushi - spicy tuna roll for himself - and at the end dango, though Sasuke doesn't eat a bite of it. His date asks why and he says he doesn't like sweets. His date asks why he ordered it and he tells her why.

Fewer times than he can count on one hand, his brother had taken him here for a snack after training. It was always very special to him that Itachi took the time. It's a special place he only remember after he'd learned the truth about Itachi. All these memories came back, the good memories he'd let be clouded by rage.

He wanted it to be the first place he took her, because it had a special place in his heart.

And because it wasn't Ramen.

Naruto:

adventure tours!

seriously, he doesn’t care where he will travel, if he goes in a group or alone, he just wants stuff to do

and not the boring stuff either. Sightseeing tours in a bus around the old/historical centre of a town? Hell nah, he wants the action and adventure of discovering something new

is there a great water park nearby? Or an adventure park? A fun fair? Some mountain climbing if possible, or surfing lessons at the sea. Maybe some kind of wild-tracking tour through the wilderness?

Give him movement and adrenaline, seeing something new or experiencing something, then Naruto is a happy boi

I said that he wouldn’t mind going alone, but he prefers other people with him. He’s a social guy at heart, and the image of him sleeping alone in a hostel room all by himself… nah. He would make some new friends quickly, but he would prefer his closest friends with him ;D

Naruto hummed to himself as he was strapped into the seat. When the heavy harness came down to snugly lay around his chest, constricting him while securing him at the same time, the experience of the many rides before made him grin wildly.

“Damn,” the girl straightening the last bits of harness and buckles of his harness whistled, “you really like this ride, huh? This is your, what, third time?”

“Fourth, believe it!”

“Well then, have a nice ride!”

Naruto gave her a peace sign. “Thank you!”

Finally, after endless minutes of waiting for the rest of the people to be secured, the rollercoaster ride started rattling, only to come to life. Slowly, with the anticipation building, the ride was pulled high onto the rails. Five meters, ten meters, higher and higher. Soon, Naruto could see almost the entire park from his vantage point. At the very top, from his front row seat, he even had the best view of the ground right in front of him, below him, so far down below that for an irrational moment, he thought he would fall.

Still, the grin never left his face. Blood was rushing through his ears, his heart beating so loudly Naruto had to open his mouth and scream in unbridled joy when the ride jumped forward, charging down the steep track at neck-breaking speed.

Sasuke:

vacation? What is that?

no matter what universe or AU he’s in, Sasuke doesn’t know how to relax. At all.

the utmost he will go to on his own is half a day off where he will sit down home alone with a book, some tea and a nice dinner in the end

if he gets dragged out for a vacation (by Naruto and/or Sakura ofc), he will go along with them, but mostly with huge eyerolls and annoyed grunts

unlike Naruto, Sasuke will enjoy more “sophisticated” trips through quaint villages, calm historical sites and sightseeing tours

if he needs to “relax” then he can at least further his education, thank you very much

emphasis on “calm” small villages, as this also lessens the chance of a mob of rabid fangirls forming around him

“Hey…”

Sasuke rolled his eyes behind his sunglasses. For a few moments, he seriously considered ignoring the girl, but then sighed internally. Sakura wouldn’t be too happy if she ever got to know that he ignored a girl like that. Letting them down gently it was, then. With another heavy sigh, he turned, the audio guide for the small museum about an obscure medical discovery in the hometown of said researcher in hand, and grimly smiled at the girl.

“No, I don’t hand my phone number to strangers. Have a good day.”

Then, he cranked up the volume of the dimly interesting guide up a notch, nodded at her and smiled to himself at her flabbergasted expression.

He did his duty. Now, he could go back to learning a bit more.

Sakura:

she loves vacations

Time off? With some true relaxation? Hell yes.

She loves either going to a busy city with sightseeing and lots of shopping possibilities, or a relaxed stay at a beach with lots of time to pamper herself

in general, I see Sakura as someone who loves to care for herself. Face masks, little trips to a nearby spa for massages, visiting a fancy hair salon for a nice haircut… yes. All of it.

She also loves the sea, the ocean, the smell and the sand between her toes. A nice relaxed swim in between, maybe some snorkeling to watch fishes, and she’s a happy girl.

Sometimes though, she also takes some vacation to go on a wild “off the beaten path”-hike with Naruto. Three days of tracking into a mountain area, putting up some tents without any cellphones or anything. It helps her focus, and she would like to do this at least twice a year.

The only thing Sakura disliked about her vacation at the beach were the many people reserving stools and chairs the evening before. Like, really? Putting down a generic white hotel towel didn’t do much in identifying who would get the chair. First come, first served, that was way better than all those pompous people trying to one up early-birds.

This morning though, she was lucky. When her feet hit the sand of the beach, she could already spot a free chair in a prime location: overshadowed by some palm trees nearby, with the ocean close by, and the bar with access to ridiculously sweet and colorful cocktails only a few meters away.

The girl pushed her sunglasses up the bridge of her nose, then secured her sunhat with one hand, her bag with all the needed accessories for a long day at the beach with the other. This seat was hers, and to hell with all the people who would come down after her.

Kakashi:

there was a post on some social media site about a woman having “reading vacations”

that’s it, that’s Kakashi. He just takes some time off to read, either rereading his Icha-Icha-Paradise or trying out a new book series.

he doesn’t even need to spend a lot of money on flights or train fares, he just picks his favorite café near to his flat and starts reading away

but if he really wants to leave his hometown, then he wants to go somewhere by train. Flights are exhausting af. Trains are easy to board, without many controls, and the land passing by the window is deeply relaxing to him.

So, he doesn’t really care about the destination, but the way is the ultimate goal ;D

The light bag for the week-long trip was long hauled into the overhead compartment. His jacket hung on a hook near the door of the four-seater room, and he made sure that his eReader was charged to the max. All the ebooks were sorted into single files, his headphones were ready to go and Kakashi already placed his train ticket onto the table to have it ready when the first service-person would come by. Sure, he liked real books more, but with his extensive library and the need to travel light, he had to turn to eReading services sooner or later.

The train started to roll as soon as he turned on his eReader and selected the first Icha-Icha-book. One more look at the glass door, then one outside where the train station and its grey platforms passed by, then Kakashi snuggled back into his seat, ready to immerse himself into the world of his favorite series.

Headcanon: Sasuke can’t do long division

I knew this day would come 😭 also Baruto doesn't exist in my mind none of that is Canon in this house.

L for Little ones how are they around children? Sasuke thinks of children as little people he can't see. Like, sometimes children just walk into him and he's like ??? What was that? And then he looks down to see this tiny human and he just stares for a moment and the child is losing their fucking shit cause Sasuke looks so scary until he just walks away. Children are so intimated him that they just scurry away as soon as Sasuke walks by but they can't help but peak and giggle at him cause he never glares or says anything but just looks at them and that's enough to intimidate. They're scared of Sasuke but in that childish ahh a monster and giggle when they run. When Sasuke notices that effect he has on kids he starts doing it on purpose, he'd turn and look at a kid dead in the eye which startles them and makes them scurry away and he's just smirking to himself. He thinks it's cute but would never say anything about it.

J for Jealousy what do they do when they're jealous? Sasuke is indifferent to people so much that he genuinely doesn't care how they act around him or with you. In his mind, you're his, why would you go looking for someone else when you're with him? He's so sure of your feelings for him that he doesn't bother himself with other people's behaviour. It's your attitude/behaviour he's looking out for. If you're giggling, enjoying the compliments and attention someone else is giving you then Sasuke is mad as fuck. What do they have that he can't give you?? The fuck is so funny?? Nah it's cool go back to them if you like it so much. Sasuke would sit and stew in his anger before grabbing you and setting you firmly in his lap as a show of dominance/possession. He wouldn't talk but you'd sense his aggression with how tight he holds you and the deep scowl on his face. Once alone, he'd just turn to you and go "What the fuck was that about?" His anger would be misplaced and he wouldn't know how to communicate what's really upsetting him so once he's frustrated he'd just shut down and walk away from you for a while. Sasuke does not handle emotions well lol

D for Domestic do they want to settle down? Lol Sasuke has other things to do than play house. His life is on the road and he doesn't feel connected to any place to call home anymore so his "home" is with his s/o. Sasuke has goals and ambitions, if you wanna join him then cool but he doesn't see himself settling down in a village after everything he's been through. Travelling and seeing the world is something he defo enjoys. If the two of you are in a committed relationship, then that's all Sasuke cares about. Labels mean nothing to him, you're his and he is yours so that's the end of it. The words Wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend don't mean shit if he's given you his heart.
