Five Fictional Female Characters
Thanks for the tags @sawymredfox @time-for-my-weekly-spanking and @milla-frenchy 🩶
I’m just now realizing they’re all brunette like me 😍
No pressure tags: @inept-the-magnificent @mcthsman @aurorawritestoescape @tateypots @oliveksmoked @vodkaandpizza @hauntedinkk and anyone who wants to play 🌻
Thanks for the tag. It was really hard to pick only 5.
Dana Scully. Literally wrote about my desire to be like her in my application to grad school. The Scully Effect is very real.
Olivia Dunham. My badass, take-no-shit queen.
Mazikeen. The demon with a heart of gold.
Tulip O’hare. Both the tv and comic version of her are amazing, but I have a deep, unabashed crush on Ruth Negga.
Dana Evans. Give that woman a cigarette, she’s earned it.
NPT: @maggiemayhemnj @tinytinymenace @for-a-longlongtime @gemmahale @coherentnow @undutchable11
fun! okay, let's go with...
Olivia Pope. (I can't get GIFs to load, so we'll just have to use our imaginations lol.) A complicated, capable woman with an appetite who is also a Black woman? Come on now!
Miranda Hobbs. Wickedly smart, loyal as can be, hard-working, and ultimately, committed to humanitarian causes.
Lorelai Gilmore. Sharp-witted, independent, loving, and stubborn. Fun to watch as a stress buster.
Denise Huxtable. Curious, creative, freewheeling Bohemian with a serious sense of style.
Rainbow Johnson. Embarrassingly eager to be seen as likable and accomplished--so much so that it somehow is endearing. Is, indeed, accomplished. Hands-on family woman who nonetheless maintains her own identity and tends to her career...
Thanks for the tag, @oliveksmoked ! Hmm... tagginggg...@ohmeursault @neighborashley @wellknownquest @dorian-w @franzkavkas
Thank you for tagging me @coherentnow !
It was kinda difficult to narrow down! For me, it's
Akeelah Anderson from Akeelah and the Bee (2006)
Peggy Carter from Marvel's Agent Carter (2015 - 2016)
Beth Pearson from This is Us (2016 - 2022)
Elle Woods from Legally Blonde (2001)
Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation (2009 - 2015)
Tagging @somniphobicfox and @wecandoit and @aleblr (only if you want to do it!)
early autumn mornings are a whole vibe. people bundled up in their coats and scarves, walking their dogs or getting their coffee, empty libraries and beautiful colors, my favorite time of the day🤍
Week 1 of my summer reading challenge! 📚 See the 1st prize reveal at the end 👀
rainy november mornings spent reading and working on the thesis ☁️☕️
Update: renal absolutely killed me. But endocrine?? We kinda like her so far???
A rosy view of Oxford from the upper level of a double-decker bus 🚌. I’m getting off in a moment to read a magical manuscript in the Bodleian 💫!
some more biochemistry notes 🦋
now reading: project hail mary and revisiting some old notes in my commonplace journal (feat. my cat Lucien) 🔭 reblog is ok, don’t repost / use
Spending the gloomy grey days correcting my assignments and wandering around the city. I'm so excited for the Christmas holidays, they can't come fast enough!

Studying for my first midterm, History.
I'm really nervous, but I worked hard the entire year, and I know it will pay off.

Starting my personalized summer reading challenge! (June 8 to Aug 8)
My local library got rid of its adult summer reading program 🥲 so I decided to create a personalized reading program for me and still give back to my community 🥰
Below are the 2 ways I'll be tracking my progress (It has some repeats bc I know I'll need the guardrails lol 🤦🏾♀️ )
november 6. life lately. still reeling from last night. writing the mpre in a couple days—wish me luck!
