When Alastor first met you, he definitely noticed how small you were but, didn’t think too much of it.

As he got to know you however, he used this to his advantage for his own entertainment. (holding things out of your reach, using you as an armrest, nicknames, towering over you, etc.)

 The more time you spent together, feelings started to develop and he noticed that he liked how short you were for more than how he could tease you about it.

He felt like your protector and, just wanted to keep you close. (after sorting out his emotions and what they meant)

Once you started courting each other, he always wanted you right by his side.

In private, he loved your hugs because of how you only came up to his chest and he could rest his head atop yours. 

You also appreciated when he was there to help you reach things (even though you were embarrassed that you needed his help at first)

Al didn’t mind though. He was happy to help and, loved how adorable you looked trying to reach up and how frustrated you were when whatever was *just* out of reach.

“Dear, why not just ask for my assistance?” he’d ask amused.

“I got it! I just need another inch..”

He’d then proceed to come up behind you and help you anyways and then kiss the top of your head.
