When Ne Canāt Take It
You know how it is when you INTPs out there are innocently using your Ne and looking intellectually superior to everyone around you without actually trying all that hard, and then, people start asking you questions.
Hard questions.Ā
That your Ti needs some time to digest and work on.
And because youāve just impressed everyone with your intelligence, they kind of jump on you when you canāt answer right away. Oh, boy, you think. Here it goes. And you get that sort of sinking feeling, because you really donāt know, and you werenāt really trying to show off. You were just trying to figure things out.
So, why does the figuring things out of the INTP look like theyāre expressing hard and fast opinions?
Itās just possible that this confusing of our Ne is actually a really good thing. Because around this time I often get really discombobulated in a physical way. I might get a headache and even be unable to speak for a moment. Not sure if every INTP is so physically affected by a Ne malfunction, but Iām sure some of you can relate.Ā
And when my Ne canāt take it, itās actually a good time for me to pause my Ne use and think about the conversation. It gives my Ti a chance to actually make sense of whatās going on around me. Because, after all, my Ne is only an auxiliary function, not my dominant function. And even if I use it a lot, it really isnāt as strong as my Ti, and it does need breaks. So, a bit of shutting it down for a while is pretty nice.
Even if it takes everyone thinking Iām an idiot for that to happen.
INTP: For all intents and purposes, I am dead to the outside world.
ISTJ: You sound like Wednesday Addams.
INTP: I take that as a compliment.
Neon Aesthetic - 4w5
I remember someone once said that ISTPs don't mess with people
Sister (ISTP): I bought so many girl scout cookies from my coworker
ISTP: so many thin mints
Me (ISTJ): mail me some?
ISTP: oh man it looks like they were reformulated and now may contain traces of peanuts [to which I, ISTJ, am very allergic]
ISTJ: WHAT. NO.
ISTJ, like a day later: OK do thin mints now contain peanuts for real?
ISTP: no I made it up because I just don't want to ever have to share them
MBTI + How you died
INFP: Youāre learning to astral project via meditation and focus but unfortunately your mind wanders so you end up āreverse astral projectingā where your ghost stays put but your body gets teleported somewhere else and now you canāt find it
ISTJ: Peacefully, in your sleep, at the ripe old age of 27. Shouldnāt have stressed yourself out so much with all that extra work you took on. Post-mortem exam shows youāre biologically 83
ESFP: You know how monster trucks can do all those jumps and tricks and the driver is still fine? Well, it isnāt the same with your 2005 Honda sedan and youāre definitely not fine
ENFP: You werenāt feeling anything after the first pot brownie, or the second, or the sixth, but after the whole pan, you didnāt die so much as you were reverse-born, absorbed back into your motherās womb but instead of in a hospital room you were in a blade of grass and instead of a doctor it was the devil and he was stuffing you back into your mother like how one might stuff a turkey
INFJ: You wake up in some cave with a pounding headache and you canāt remember shit for the last 3 days and this must be the worst weekend ever because now people are talking about how you āresurrectedā and itās āGodās willā
ENFJ: You donāt die, you just quietly disappear until youāre needed again, like a guardian angel. or the microsoft word paperclip
ESTP: You made your pool 1 foot deeper so that you could jump in from the top of your garage roof. Too bad you shouldāve made your roof 1 foot thicker too because you fell straight through and ate shit
ENTP: You didnāt think anything would ~really~ happen when you read that inscription carved into the 3000 year old sheepskin you dug up from the woods but now youāre possessed. Turns out the demon was a huge nerd bitch just like you so your body is still out there, sleeping until noon and laughing at memes
ESTJ: After working around the clock on the same project for six years, you finally burned yourself out. Your family can still hear you screech as you ran into the woods. You might not even be dead, you might still be out there. wandering
ISFJ: You accidentally got mistaken for a tv celebrity at the gas station, but unfortunately that tv show was āFBIās Most Wantedā and now youāre a year into your stint on death row and you think itās too awkward to say anything now
ESFJ: You didnāt tell anyone you got bitten by one of the zombies because you didnāt want to worry anyone but itās likeā¦.. youāre now scooping brain out of the group leaderās head like meat from a coconut so I guess you can say weāre just a tad worried anyway
ENTJ: In a moment of confusion, you accidentally put a hit out on YOURSELF without realizing. Ding-dong, whoās there? Itās a gun
INTJ: How were you supposed to know that the guy you humiliated about his intelligence online ACTUALLY WAS a marine this time
INTP: Based on the fact that you still manage to exist despite that trash ass diet and sunlight deprivation and living inside your own mind means youāre clearly biologically immortal so fuck idk go juggle some knives or something
ISTP: Your plane crashed into smoldering wreckage in a remote mountain range. Oh, you didnāt die though. From the plane crash. You died of kuru after survival instincts drove you to eat the few other survivors in your party.
ISFP: Got eaten on a friggin mountain by ISTP
Fascinating
My observations of Ne Vs Ni humour
Ne-Si: Inside jokes, stupid freaking puns, quick quips, comedic timing is precious, either exaggerated self depreciation or boasting is also common, ranting, in a sense embodies Ne- wacky and fun
Ni- Se: Parody, jokes that donāt seem like jokes, obviously incorrect statements, jokes at the wrong time because it seemed okay when you were planning it, may rely on the underlying meaning of a joke- this is partly why people donāt typically find Ni users to be funny.Ā
SIXTEEN??? YIKES I didnāt realise it was this bad

I saw a post that showed MBTI as a classroom, and wondered what would happen if there were only iNtuitives in a classroom together. I made this based off of Tumblr stereotypes, to see what kind of chaos would ensue. Letās just say, this is why the world needs a lot of sensors⦠(Also, the small āmā stands for male, and the small āfā stands for female. I did the genders because a classroom that only contains eight people, including the teacher, would be ridiculously small.)
Iāll probably do a classroom full of sensors next. Feel free to send me requests for more pictures of the types doing _____, or something like that. I really enjoyed making this!
Also, donāt forget to give feedback/criticism, so Iāll know what I can do better next time I make something like this!
Hereās the classroom of only MBTI Sensors as promised!
INTP moving into INTJ's dorm
INTJ: *has the windows fully covered and the lights off and it's so dark the only way you can see anything is by the light of a computer monitor*
INTP: Ah sweet place man.

ā„Ā ENFJ (the teacher)
[ENFJs] are introspective, cooperative, directive, and expressive. They tend to look for the best and to expect it from those around them. [ENFJs] communicate a belief that everyone has the potential to succeed, and Teachers often seek to help others express this inner potential. In doing so, they may motivate others to meet the Teacherās positive expectations.Ā They tend to be organized and like to have things settled. They usually plan their work hours and social engagements in advance and can be trusted to honor their commitments.
They generally have a clear understanding what is going on inside themselves, and their intuition gives them insight into the feelings of others. However, they tend to be less skilled at logical decision-making, and may do well to seek the advice of a Thinking type.Ā Teachers often mirror the beliefs, characteristics, and emotions of those they interact with to generate rapport. This helps them develop a sense of connection with the joys and problems of others. (x)
