It was 1994, and the sky was blue, the day was warm, the world was new, and I was certain of life. Mom was radiant and glowing like a saint. Everything was my way and I was the center of the universe. It was 2000, and people were amazed the world didn't end, I was certain we all had a wonderful future ahead. I found that time heals all booboos (wounds). Mom was smiling and laughing but it had changed somehow. My favorite thing was red and my favorite food was cheesecake. Everything was not always my way but I was still the center of the universe. It was 2002, and people were still scared that the world would end. I found that some booboos take longer to heal. I learned that not everyone has a future and why graves are sad. Mom doesn’t smile anymore and she wants us to play outside. My favorite thing was running down the street and my favorite food was spaghetti. Some things went my way but I was certain I was still the center of the universe. It was 2009, and people were worried that the world was about to end. I learned about booboos scars. I learned that everyone I love will eventually die and that I shouldn’t write such sad things. Mom don’t understand a thing of what i’m saying. My favorite thing is being somewhere alone and in silence and I don’t have a favorite food. Nothing seems to go my way and I’m not certain of what I am in this universe. It is 2015, and people are still worried about the world ending. I found out that scars don’t fade. I learned that most people leave and that I have to keep these sad things to myself. Mom still has her dark days, but i don’t have the same patience as i used to have before. My favorite thing is getting lost in an unknown place and even the thought of food makes me nauseated. Most things tend to go wrong and I’m alone in this universe.
