About the blog

I will mostly post about warrior cats and my AUs here but I dip in and out very often so my activity isn't exactly regular.

I have two main AU's, one is about Scorchedclaw (My version of Firestar who's mother is Yellowfang) and one AU about Maplethroat (My oc who is Firepaw's aunt and Jake's sister)

As you can tell the first series is my favourite, honestly I don't remember too much of what happens after ; w ;

I do enjoy all warriors content though!

I forgot to say this yesterday but Happy Pride everyone!!! I might make some stickers or little doodles to celebrate in a few days, but we will see how it goes :3 (feel free to make requests or give me ideas)

How do you choose the colros for your designs? They all look so buttery! So soft and pretty!

Thank you!! 🫶 Honestly I think my color theory improved a lot mostly when I moved over to clip studio paint, I started using gradients more and just tweaking some of my old designs. I tend to not saturate my colors enough so it always helps to do final adjustments on contrast, brightness, saturation and gradient maps.

As for how I chose colors for my designs, I usually start by looking at other people's designs, finding ones I like and analysing what I like about them. Then I try to add those elements into my own design. I also consider the characters and their personalities. For example: for Ferncloud and Ashfur who are both gray cats I make Ashfur have more cool and desaturated tones, while Ferncloud is slightly brownish and warm grays.

If I could give anyone advice it would be to not limit yourself to one tone/hue when working on a design, even if your character is not a calico or a tortie. For example feel free to throw some orange into a brown tabby, or if you have a dual color cat that is orange make one tone more yellow and the other more red. And for white cats it's always nice to give them either a yellow/cream or bluish tone, it makes the design pop more and communicates things like personality or demeanor.

Using unnatural subtones such as green or purple can also look very nice on certain cats like Hollyleaf or Hethertail. Just don't be afraid to experiment ^^

Your longfire art (and all your art in general but specifically longfire) really scratches an itch for me it is so good-looking and I really love the designs. Is the longfire you’re drawing related to one of the AUs you posted about before or is it more based on canon?

Ahhh thank you!! That makes me really happy to hear, I mostly just throw whatever I make into the tumblr void so it's nice whenever other people also like it 🫶

As for longfire, it's pretty much going to be the end game in every AU I make because I like those two so much 😭 but for most of my drawings are just me doing whatever comes to mind and not thinking it through too much

These ai chatbot ads are seriously starting to piss me off

No I don't want to talk to Bakugo, or Sonic or any other fuckass ai slop bot. If I wanted to have a conversation with my favourite character I'd read a fic about it or close my eyes and imagine it. Whatever happened to that?

And it's every third or fourth post that I get these ads, RELEASE ME
