djune day 1: tell us about your favorite djoling

my favorite djoling has to be Steve. is it the basic answer? absolutely. but at the end of the day I have loved him since 2017 (s2 had me go from a Johnathan to a steve girlie), and it wouldn't feel right to not place him at #1 !!

what I love about steve is that he's a man who instinctively protects those around him. even if he doesn't know them all too well, that doesn't matter to him. he strikes me as one of those people who's always there for others because no one was truly there for him, and I really relate with that.

steve is basically what I think of the ideal man - someone who's loving, gentle, romantic ,selfless, ready to throw himself in harms way time after time again to protect his loved ones. not to mention, he's great with children. his compassion for children is really endearing and not something i've found often in men irl. he's just the perfect husband material.

and the fact that steve truly turned his life around is really inspiring to me. he reminds me everyday that you can redeem yourself, that you don't have to forever be remembered as the worst version of yourself. that you can truly turn your life around if you just put in the hard work to do so.
