If I have Russian readers here feel free to translate this post!

So it has been brought to my attention that there has been bunch of transphobic comments under Jumalanpelko's Russian translation. There isn't much me or the translators can do about that but I just wanted to make a quick pic and a post about it and remind everyone:

Jumalanpelko is inherently a queer comic.

It is made by an aroace trans author in a QPR relationship with another queer trans person.

One of our main characters is a male character who breaks his community's gender roles to become very much a mother.

We have a female character in love with feminine god.

We have characters in QPR relationships.

We have a trans masc character who feels like his whole life has been taken away from him and the only thing people see about them is something that is eating them away.

We have Kuutamo who uses both she and they pronouns and teaches Mesi about freedom.

In the sequel we have Lysti who transforms her body to suit herself more after learning about the world and herself and we have Vitka who is nonbinary and Aarre who is intersex.

Jumalanpelko is a story about characters with no freedom to figure out who they are. It is about identity.

So please, ignore these comments. Jumalanpelko is for you not for those people.
