Speaking of this scene...

We see Kinn gulping, closing his eyes, sighing and taking in deep breathes, nostrils flaring as Porsche narrates his backstory for the first time and his feelings about the day's events (which led to the death of a man)

Kinn is hurting here...he's hurting for Porsche...if he could help it, he wouldn't let anyone do this dirty job...yes Kinn can be ruthless (he would have to be) but he's also so soft and tender...his heart breaks for Porsche and when Porsche mentions Mes's (now fatherless) son

and the thing is...Porsche is not looking at Kinn for most of the time...he's looking down, eyes half-closed and is almost talking to himself....this is Kinn feeling all this not for show but out of sheer honesty

and the most painful part for me was when Kinn says to Porsche 'You’ve walked this path for just one month, yet you feel so much about it. I’ve lived in this world my whole life.' you can see the anger, the pain, the weight of the responsibilities and just the whole unfairness of it all displayed on his face (gif 3)....and then he hums the familiar tune, 'What choice do I have?' (gif 4)...he must have said that to himself so many times in solitude whenever any doubt would creep up...when he would want to simply leave this life behind

i think @subtextsays had made a post about episode 6 knee moving acting choice for Porsche that is really wonderful

and for me it's this instance of Mile's acting for Kinn in episode 3 (esp the first 2 gifs here)

The phrase, "everyone except workers" reminds me of that one poll that said AOC was unpopular with "everyone except women, poc, young people, and LGBTQ people." Like such a circuitous to say they think older cishet white men are the default everyone, with all else being an abberation.

Like "everyone except workers" is just bosses, executives, and investors. Aka people that profit off of work without actually doing it, which is a far smaller group than workers are.

"The people that don't actually do the work don't like this thing that makes the lives of the people that actually do the work better," is probably a less appealing headline to the readers of Fortune Magazine.

KinnPorsche production details and acting choices that make me feral part ?

That almost imperceptible nod Kinn does in the face of heartache when he is trying so fucking hard. It’s acceptance and trust and reassurance and everything he’s terrible at saying but desperate to make understood.
