@nonsense-logic
just a reminder:
It's okay to not be okay. It's also okay to admit that you're not okay. It's also okay if you aren't ready to admit that you're not okay. It's okay to take time by yourself, or to spend time with people you love. It's not okay to hurt people because you're hurt, but it's okay to apologize and remind them that you do love them when you do.
One last thing:
It's going to be okay.

Whenever I hate my body, I just remember that during the Renaissance, pasty girls with chubby stomachs were the epitome of hot.
things kids at work have said to me pt. 1
(I work in a day care program in my area)
"Counselor! I need to tell you a secret!" *whispers* "I do not want to marry you."
*points to my nose ring* "why did you do that? It looks bad"
Kid: "how do you even pierce your nose?
Me: "they had to put a needle through it..."
Kid: *incoherent screaming*
Kid: "Sometimes you gotta go potty"
Me: "do you need to go?"
Kid: "no but sometimes you gotta"
Me: "yeah, buddy that's true"
Kid "your weiner just starts aching and you gotta go!"
Me: "okay, let's be done with this conversation!"
Me: *hasn't brushed my hair because I'm tired*
Kid: "why didn't you do anything with your hair?"
Me: "I'm tired. I didn't feel like it"
Kid: "You should have curled it. Promise me you'll curl it tomorrow?"
Me: "why?"
Kid: "So it will look good"
(My first day there)
Kid 1: "Youre so pretty!"
Me: Thank you! *turns around*
Kid 2: "you're gonna regret working here!"
In conclusion: kids are weird... And brutally honest.
its been a while...
Its been a while since I felt like myself with you.
Its been a while since I laughed with you,
Since we felt that ache in our sides that is simply addicting.
Its been a while since I knew that you could still see me.
Its been a while since I wouldnt hesitate to call you a close friend,
Since I wouldn't hesitate to call you a friend,
Since I wouldnt hesitate to just call you.
And the longer that this drags on,
The more I am surprised to know,
Its been a while since I was upset
Since I had worries about this,
Since I even cared.
The longer this goes on the more I realize that losing a friend isn't always losing yourself.
Sometimes it's the opposite.
And sometimes it takes a while.
