Using a combination of high speed photography and precise paint splashes, artist Jack Long creates liquid flowers, which are basically paint that has splashed in such a way and captured at the right moment that it looks like a flower. Even more impressively, a lot of the pieces depict flowers in vases, rather than just the flower itself.

Stepping outside the box starts with stepping out of the normal mindset. I admit that I usually find myself in a position whereby I desire to move out of my comfort zone the moment I feel comfortable. It happens at most crucial stages of my life. When I feel happy and comfortable, its almost like an indication that its time to let go and move to another. As much as I like being in a routine and happy with life, I also have a weird desire to move on every time I start to get used to/get comfortable with something. It applies to friendships too. I totally can’t stay too easy and comfortable with anything or anyone. That’s just the real me
