Petals - a german Stranger Things fanfiction

Meine Fanfiction umfasst die Story einer eigenen Figur, wie die der Serie. Es entspricht nicht alles der genauen Handlung und es werden kleine bis größere Abänderung begangen. Die Geschichte beginnt zu der dritten Staffel der Serie "Stranger Things", gelegentlich wird es jedoch Rückblicke in die Vergangenheit geben (Staffel 1 und 2 oder vor dem Geschehen der der Serie).

Ich weiß nicht ob ich diese Story als AU bezeichnen kann, da ich womöglich vor habe nicht nur Kleinigkeiten des Plots zu ändern.

Des weiteren bedanke ich mich für alle Leute, die sich meine Story durchgelesen.

Mirrorworld: Artbreeder Portraits

Just wanted to add the Artbreeder pictures as stand-alone post.

They could be extremely off to the way other people picture the characters or how they have been described in the books. It‘s been a while since I read them myself, but I tried my best.

Also: the Goyl don‘t really look like they‘re made of stone.

I made a few mood boards for characters from the Reckless book series by Cornelia Funke. The faces were made with Artbreeder.

I‘ll link the pictures I used below each mood board.

Creating/editing the pictures, especially the portraits for the Goyls, was a bit difficult. I never really used Artbreeder before and recreating or changing something up to look like stone wasn‘t really something I got right. Hentzau looks almost completely human and I needed a long time until the skin on Nerron or Kami‘en had the right color. I wasn’t really sure how to change Hentzau‘s skin, since he‘s described as ´brown jaspisˋ in the book but my reference pictures of the gem itself showed more of a lighter brown. I tried my best to make the skin look cracked through the use of various images of men with scarred faces, but the scars faded a bit out in the later processes. I also had to edit the eyes in another app, where I removed the iris to hint at the blindness/bad eyesight he‘s supposed to have. I think the one that looks the closest to a statue/to be made out of stone is Kami‘en, but that one also had a ´greek statue ´- looking base…

Just watched American Gods S3e6 and I'm screaming. You see, I'm an archaeologist with an honest-to-gods (pun intended) love of stone tools. That weird looking white rock in the basement of Mr World's Silo is a hand axe, likely of the Acheulian (mode 2) technology. They look like a this

The thing is. This kind of tool is could be up to 1.7 million years old-which corresponds to the earliest development of Homo erectus.

If this is the First Artefact- Technical Boy would probably predate all of humanity. We know he changes form, so it's not out of the realm of possiblity that he was once an earlier form of human (or God to them). He's probably the oldest of the the Old Gods. This little Fuck Knuckle is probably the most powerful of all the gods

This being true would be too good! I would love to see a plot twist like that.

Haven't read the book so I can't really comment on the show possibly going into a totally different direction.

Don't know why or how but the nearest bookstore in my area sold the book a bit earlier.

I thought it might be interesting to share some pictures of how it looks.

I havent started reading it yet because I literally just bought it but even then I won't be posting any spoilers, so you're save.
