HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY ROSES
love this !
“Villagers knit jumpers for Indian elephants to protect the large mammals from near-freezing temperatures ”
“Local women make colourful jumpers for formerly abused animals after staff at conservation centre warn of temperatures dipping close to freezing point.”
“Women in a village near the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in the northern city of Mathura reportedly began producing the colourful, pyjama-like garments after staff at the centre warned temperatures were approaching sub-zero at night.”

Free Crochet Pattern:
Fancy Goldfish, by Kate Wood on Ravelry.
Guys. This is what happens when you go to Michael’s at 10 pm on Thanksgiving ONLY to buy a cheap picture frame and then you see this pretty yarn that winds up to be $1.40 per ball and you lose all self control.
Just so we’re clear
If you want to be a complete snob about yarn, this may not be the blog to follow. I’m here for 100% acrylic as much as 100% alpaca, and won’t ever feel bad about that. People who aren’t wealthy deserve to be welcome in the crafting world, too.

I have to take a second to brag about how absolutely sweet and amazing my boyfriend is. I’m on my period and yesterday he brought me chocolate when we met up for lunch while I was at work.
Then he came over for dinner and did my dishes while I cooked (nothing new, he always does that if I’m cooking), rubbed my back, heated my rice pack if it got lukewarm, made sure I was drinking from my water bottle (because I off-handedly mentioned I needed to drink more water today), watched an episode of Desperate Housewives with no complaints because he knows it’s my favorite show to watch when I don’t feel good, fed me crackers and mustard (special mustard I got on our recent trip), and cuddled with me while we worked on our respective knitting/crochet projects.
Y’all, I don’t know how I got so lucky but I struck gold finding him.
Got my February box from Little Box of Crochet today! So excited to dig into it. Welp, there go my plans for the rest of the day!
Space Princess Bunny number “who knows,” because I can’t stop making them.

Somebody just sent this to me and I have never felt so dragged in my LIFE
(I came out to have a good time and I honestly feel so attacked right now.)
😂😂😂
Accurate.
One of my very first afghans.
I love the colours! What yarn and colours did you use? 😍
This colourful granny goodness is so inspiring! Found over at the very talented nelly_ohoh’s Instagram account. LOVE.
Oh, would you look at that. I finished a blanket just in time for winter to be OVER.
Things Corin Learned During This Project:
1. However much yarn you think you need for a blanket, buy about 150% of that. I don’t care if you overestimated when you did the math. Overestimate the overestimation.
2. Saying you’re making something for sale when you’re starting increases the chances of you keeping it for yourself by about 7000% when you finish.
3. FFS NO MORE CONTINUOUS GRANNY SQUARES JUST SUCK IT UP AND MAKE SMALL ONES TO SEW TOGETHER BECAUSE AFTER A POINT IT TAKES 18 YEARS TO FINISH ONE SIDE GOD CORIN STOP BEING HARDHEADED
(seriously though it’s so soft and warm I wanna cry I love it)
