OKAY OKAY OKAY BEYOND the fact that I live in the old west, and it is in the Iron in my blood that I love this shit too much, I think this is hinting towards a few things, at the very least.

-Klaus wrangling the dead like cowboys wrangle cows/sheep, making Klaus pretty damn powerful in a kinda dark and interesting way. Maybe even MORE than the dead....

-God is a cowboy in the comics and I feel this connection alludes to a lot of power for Klaus as well. I jest when I say Klaus becoming the cowboy God he wishes to see in the world, but it does interest me that Girl on Bike needs him, and has a personal beef with him. I think it speaks to a deeper power.

-Hotel is in the old/wild west in the comics as can be seen through the desert setting and the cacti. These being early purchases make me think that it's an early plot device, which makes me think them getting shoved in the hotel because that would take large part of the season to fix, I guess? This feels right to me.

-Dave is a Texas (southwest, cactus) boy and he likes country. The use of "compadres" points further to some southwestness.

-Bonus: Klaus as an outlaw, a rogue, going his own way, against the grain.

I dunno, I love everything about this! I also am just throwing things at the wall! Long live goth cowboy Klaus.
