For everyone who suffers from any form of arthritis, I have some positive news for once!

For the past few months my right knee hasn't stopped swelling with fluid and therefore I have had my knee drained every month since October. 4 weeks ago I went to my rheumatologist and she drained the knee, to only the me that she can't keep doing the procedure and this may possibly be the last one for the year.

I have worked really hard to keep the fluid away, taking methotrexate and prednisolone and resting . To be honest, I am thankful for the lock down because for once my arthritis is getting the rest it has been asking for.

Although my right knee looked slightly swollen, it is infact not.

RN here, week three of dealing with COVID19 patients. Everyone is starting to have breakdowns and crying fits regularly in the halls, even the 50 year old doctors who’ve been practicing for decades.
