Here is my masterlist for all my fanfictions :) To keep this as organized as possible, most of the links will lead to another post. For example, I might have different masterlists for each series/collection I do.
Loki Oneshots
Loki oneshots (possibly two or three shots) that are focused on Loki. Includes Loki x Reader, Loki & Reader, as well as Loki x other mcu characters and genfics.
Pandoras Box (In progress)
Loki x OFC fic (slow burn) that follows my character Pandora as she runs into her past problems when the Avengers come after her on Odin's orders.
Other Marvel Works-
Marvel Fanfics that aren't focused on Loki. Includes anything and everything Marvel, not necessarily just MCU.
Winter Wonderland
This is a collection of oneshots/drabbles that revolve around a December prompt list I made for myself. A lot of them involve winter elements, but a select few will mention Christmas, and those will say in the beginning as I understand not everyone celebrates. They will mostly be Loki/reader, but who knows what else that might end up in here! Happy Holidays!
Non-Marvel Works-
Fanfics that aren't focused on Marvel characters. You might get book fics, you might get fics based on TV shows I watch, who knows.
The team arrived back to the tower, bruised and bloodied, but alive andâmostlyâhealthy. Which was more than Pandora could have hoped for. Her brother was safe, and so was her⊠best friend. Was that what Loki was to her? She hadnât really had a whole lot of time to mull it over. They were friends, sure, but to her it felt like they were so much more, even if they werenât. But, perhaps that was just the part of her that had been starved of any deep emotional connections because of her past.Â
In true Tony Stark fashion, as soon as they got in the tower, he opened his mouth. âI think that this victory calls for a-â
Natasha groaned. âTony, I swear to god, if you say a partyâŠâÂ
Pandora laughed, but agreed with her. A party with guests was the last thing Pandora wanted to do. She was carrying a sleepy Finneas, who had fallen asleep on the jet ride home. Home. She really was able to call this place her home, as everyone she loved was right there.
Tony chuckled. âAs much as I know you all would love that, I was going to say that it calls for drinks.â There were muttered agreements, and Tony smiled. âSee, I knew you all would be down for expensive alcohol on my dime.âÂ
Thor let out a holler of agreement before Pandora shot him a look, reminding him she had yet to bring her sleeping brother to bed. He whispered a âsorry,â which caused Loki to roll his eyes.Â
Pandora stepped out of the common area with a promise to come back after she brought Finneas to his room. She tucked him into bed, sighing in relief that she could put Helaâs aggressions behind her. As she left the room, she almost had a heart attack to see someone waiting for her.Â
To her relief, it was just Loki, who appeared to have followed her earlier. âLoki, you scared me.â She huffed, and Loki gave a small smile.Â
âI do tend to have that habit.â He said. âBut I came here so we could talk.â
She frowned. âAbout what?â She asked, though she had a feeling she actually knew why, even if she didnât want to talk about it.Â
He gave her a look. âAbout what you did out on the field. Trading your life for mine.â He paused. âEven if we are both alive now, it could have ended very differently.âÂ
âI know. But I would do it again.â She said, and she meant it. Even if she knew that her death would be certain, if it saved her best friend then it would be worth it. Â
It was Lokiâs turn to frown. âBut I donât want you to. In fact, if you ever do that again, I will bring you back and kill you myself.â Pandora laughed, but Loki didnât. âIâm serious. I cannot lose you.â
Pandoraâs heart twinged as she saw the genuine concern in his eyes. As much as she wanted to do whatever he said, to promise him anything, he was asking for the one thing she couldnât bring herself to not do. But she didnât tell him this, and she hoped he would never have to realize this. âI understand,â She said, âNow letâs go grab some drinks.â
She dragged Loki back to the common areas, even though he really didnât care for alcohol at the moment. He would follow her to the ends of the earth, even if he wouldnât admit that to himself yet.Â
When they got back, the team was spread out, letting the adrenaline and their worries fade with the alcohol. Pandora plopped down between Natasha and Wanda, and began talking about Pandoraâs seemingly new abilities.Â
Meanwhile, Loki stood off to the side, when he was approached by Thor. âHave you told her youâre in love with her yet?â He asked, catching Loki completely off-guard.
âW-What?â Loki asked, words failing him. âWhoever told you that? It is completely untrue.â Loki said, defending himself.Â
Thor raised his eyebrow, clearly not believing him. âYou were willing to die for her.â
Loki looked at his brother, frowning. âWerenât you the one who taught me to be good to my friends?â
In his head, Thor started to form a half-baked plan that would probably end in disaster, but it was out of good intentions. âDo you truly feel nothing for her?âÂ
âTruly.â Loki responded, lying. âShe is just my closest friend.â
Thor shrugged. âWell, if youâre not interestedâŠâ He said, crossing the floor to Pandora, who had gotten up to grab a snack from the kitchen.Â
The color drained from Lokiâs face. âThor- What do you mean?â Thor ignored him, and Loki wanted to yell. âThor, get back over here!âÂ
Again, Thor ignored him and helped Pandora get something from the top shelf of the cabinet. âThanks, Thor.â She said, thinking nothing of how he brushed behind her to get it.Â
Loki, however, noticed it, and was practically seething. Unbeknownst to him, Natasha was watching the whole situation unfold, notifying Wanda who also started watching.Â
Thor, also noticing Lokiâs anger, smiled. He started a conversation with Pandora. âIâm glad all was well today. You were very brave out there.â
She looked sheepish, shrugging. âI just did what felt right. Thatâs what we do, right?â
Thor agreed, and they continued in conversation. Loki stood there, shocked. Did Thor actually want to get with Pandora? Did Pandora like Thor? Had he completely missed this? Either way, he wanted nothing more than to kill his brother at that moment.Â
To the side, Wanda chuckled with Natasha. They could tell exactly what Thor was doing, and it was working.Â
âSo,â Thor began, making sure Loki couldnât hear this part of the conversation, but he continued to smile at her and act like he was flirting without Pandora picking up on it, but Loki did. âAre you and Loki together yet?â
Pandoraâs smile dropped. âWhat? No, weâre just really good friends.âÂ
Thor raised an eyebrow. âBut you like him, yes?âÂ
Thor sounded so convinced that Pandora got scared. âKeep your voice down, Thor! It doesnât matter if I like him, weâre from completely different worlds and I am so not his type. Plus, Odin would hate me ten times over and probably condemn me to Hel again.â
âHow do you know youâre not his type? You are VERY BEAUTIFUL.â Thor said, making sure to say the last two words loud enough so Loki heard, which worked.Â
Pandora scoffed. âThor, I donât need you to play matchmaker, okay? Loki will find some nice princess elsewhere.â She hadnât fully convinced herself that she would find love, ever. She knew she had strong feelings for Loki, but that was all they would be, feelings.Â
Before Thor could say anything else, Loki swooped in. âWhat are you talking about?â He said, trying to be as nonchalant as possible, but Pandora didnât notice his awkwardness, and instead looked like she was caught red handed.
âLoki!â She said, face turning a scarlet red. âWhen did you come up behind me?â She asked, nervous. If he had heard what she had said, then she was going to be utterly mortified.Â
Loki looked annoyed, because yet again, someone he was close to was probably talking about him behind his back with none other than his brother. âThat depends, were you talking about me?âÂ
Her eyebrows shot up. âNo!â She said, rushed, while Thor contradicted her with a solid âyes.âÂ
Pandora shot him a dirty look, but turned back to Loki. âOkay, fine, yes, but it wasnât about anything bad, I swear. It was just aboutâŠâ She trailed off, trying and failing to think of an excuse, anything but the truth. Unfortunately, Loki took that the wrong way.Â
A hurt look crossed Lokiâs eyes, before it was replaced by indifference. âLying and then failing to come up with an excuse? I know itâs hard to lie to me, but you could at least try.â
Pandora frowned, realizing he was entirely misunderstanding her intentions. She started to talk again, but Loki began to walk away. Thor fumbled in his seat, not sure what to do. He decided to stay put, because Loki would never listen to him in the first place.Â
She caught up to him in the hall, away from everyone else, grabbing his hand. âLoki, please, just listen to me.âÂ
He went to pull his arm away, but he couldnât bring himself to do it. Not when her warmth felt so comforting, so right. He turned towards her, letting her arm hang onto his. âItâs alright, Pandora, I get it. Youâre not the first person to choose Thor over me.âÂ
Pandora looked like she was about to explain, but then she stopped, confused. âChoose Thor? What do you mean?â
Loki rolled his eyes. âI donât need to spell it out for you, darling.â He said, but this time when he said the pet name, it was filled with contempt instead of love. âIf you want to fuck my brother, be my guest, but do not drag me into it to get his attention.â
âGet his attention?!â Pandora said, raising her voice. âLoki, you better listen fast and well. Thor was the one who walked up to me, not the other way around. And even if it had been the other way around, whatâs it to you? I am not a thing to be controlled, and you should very well know that by now. Besides, in what universe would I ever want to get with your brother? He is quite literally the opposite of my type.âÂ
Loki processed the information, looking confused, then relieved. âSo you donât want Thor?â
âNo!â She yelled, exasperated. âHow could I?â How could I, when the person I want is YOU! She wanted to say, but she didnât. âWhy are you so caught up on this anyways? Loki, you know if I ever dated anyone, you would still be my best friend.â
Lokiâs eyes softened, but they held a sadness that Pandora couldnât comprehend. Why would he be sad? She was the one that deserved to be sad, because she knew nothing would feel the same in a relationship if it wasnât with him.Â
Being just best friends wasnât enough for either of them, and it was a battle of who would admit it first. They looked each other in the eye, both questioning, both searching for an answer to all of their thoughts.Â
âAnswer me, Loki. Because youâre the one who started this. You cannot bombard me with questions and then be unable to take what you throw.â Pandora grew angrier with each word. âI am free to talk to who I please, and you should not be acting this way unless you expect me to think that youâre jea-âÂ
He slammed his lips into hers, and her eyes widened before closing and leaning into him. The kiss only lasted a few secondsâmuch too shortâbefore Loki pulled away in a panic. Before Pandora could respond, he was gone.Â
She froze, not sure what to do, what to think. Had he truly just kissed her? Was she hallucinating? He had run away, had he not liked it? Was it the heat of the moment? She was at a loss, unsure of what to do.Â
Before she knew it, her feet were taking her back into the common area, where everyone looked at her. âYou look like youâve seen a ghost.â Tony said, noticing her.Â
She didnât respond, and Wanda rushed up to her. âHey, are you okay?â Pandora tried to say something, but she couldn't. Instead, she let her magic tell Wanda what happened.Â
Wanda immediately relaxed, giving you a knowing smile. âYou two are idiots.â She said, and then turned to the team. âEverythingâs fine! Nat, can you come here?â
The two girls pulled you into the hallway, and Wanda filled Natasha in. Natasha looked like she wanted to roll her eyes, but she didnât. Instead she turned to you. âPandora, please, he likes you. Loki clearly isnât great with his feelings, thatâs why he ran away.â
âHe didnât run, he teleported. He hated it that bad! I didnât think I was that bad of a kisser, but still-â Pandora started, but she was cut off by Wanda putting a finger over her lips.Â
Wanda gave her a look. âAnyone with a pair of eyes can tell that that man is head over heels. Now if you donât get down there and tell him how you feel, Iâll go down and tell him myself just to get you two to stop dancing around each other in a fragile game of who-will-break-first.âÂ
Normally, she would laugh, but Pandora was too worried for that. âI havenât had the time to deal with feelings ever. Iâve never liked someone the same way I like him! What if I screw this all up, and he hates me. Iâm not anything special, he has no reason to like meââ
Natasha gave a light slap to Pandoraâs face, light enough to not actually hurt, but hard enough to get her to stop rambling. âShut up and go get him.âÂ
Even if she wasnât sure of herself, her friends were, and they knew what was best. Pandora nodded, and teleported herself in front of Lokiâs door. Wait, teleported? She hadnât been aware that she could do that, but now wasnât the time to question her newfound ability. She lightly knocked on Lokiâs door, but she didnât get an answer. She knocked harder, and received âgo away.âÂ
âItâs me, Loki.â Pandora said, âWe need to talk.â She didnât receive a response, so she picked the lock with her golden thread and barged in anyway. Loki sat on his bed, glaring at the wall until she came in, and then he moved to glare at her.Â
He scowled. âI thought I told you to go away.â She frowned at him and crossed her arms. She examined his face, which was perfectly put together in a way that indicated he was masking his emotions.Â
She sighed, and moved towards him and sat down next to him on the bed. Loki tensed, but didnât move. âI shouldnât haveââ He started, but Pandora interrupted him.Â
âDid you mean it?â She asked, looking him in the eye. âThe kiss.âÂ
Loki was silent for a moment, considering lying, but nodded. âI did. I apologize if I overstepped our friendship, I shouldnât have done that withoutââ
Pandora interrupted his rambling by pulling him down for a kiss. This kiss lasted much longer than the first, and they savoured the taste of each other. They were drunk on each other, the taste better than anything, and sweeter than ambrosia. Pandora felt her body burn in all the right ways, and Lokiâs normally cold skin had begun to take up a heat of its own.
She leaned into him, causing his back to hit the bed. She continued to kiss him, and he held her to his as if she were planning on leaving. Each kiss was akin to a person starved, starved of their lover for centuries, and in a way, that was true. This feeling wasnât one they had experienced in such an intense way before.Â
When she finally pulled away, he let her, and she took a deep breath of air before lying beside him, her head in his chest. âI like you, Loki. Iâve never felt this way before with anyone, but Iâm positive that I would rather be nowhere else but in your arms.âÂ
Loki ran his hands through her hair, holding her close. âIââ He paused, putting his thoughts into words. â--I like you as well. For a while now, Iâve had this inexplicable feeling plaguing my thoughts, begging me to give in and kiss you. But Iâve never felt feelings so intense before, so I was scared. But I know now I shouldâve given in earlier, just to taste your lips.â
He leaned towards her and gave her a light kiss. âPandora, I would love nothing more than to court you, if you should have me.â He looked her in the eyes, and she melted.
âYes,â She said, smiling and pulling him into an embrace. âI would like that very much.âÂ
Pandora had never felt so light, so free as she felt in that moment. With the weight of both Hela and her feelings for Loki off her shoulders, she was finally able to relax, as Loki held her close in his arms. As they sat there, in a comfortable silence, she slowly drifted off to sleep, and Loki watched her with nothing but love in his heart, though it would take some time to admit that he was utterly, hopelessly in love with his new partner.
A/N: Yeah are we surprised It's been a while... No. :) Sorry :) It's getting close to being done kinda sorta maybe.
The plan was to bring Finneas with themâas much as Pandora didnât want to, she knew that leaving him at the tower would be a mistake. He would stay far away in a separate quinjet with Clint and Natasha, who were both prepared with both long and short ranged weapons.Â
She buckled him up into the quinjet he was going on, and she kissed his forehead. âEverythingâs going to be ok.â She whispered to his still-sleeping form. She didnât want him to be scared, and everything went according to plan, everything would be dealt with by the time he woke up.Â
âWeâll keep him safe.â Natasha said, and Pandora believed her. She trusted Natasha with her life, as well as with Finneasâ. Same with Clint.Â
Pandora nodded and closed the door to the quinjet. She met Loki and the others and got on the second jet, and everyone was quiet. It was early in the morning, and they were going to fight a battle against an all-powerful being.Â
Finally, Pandora spoke up. âWere there multiple heat signatures in the area?â She asked, and Tony shook his head. She looked downwards with a mix of emotions. It had always been likely that Hela had killed Selia, but it was still something she had hopedâ
They landed in a field full of flowers. It was beautiful, with the sun barely risen and the morning birds chirping. But there was nothing to be cheerful about. They got off the jet and Tony ran scans to track Helaâs exact location. But not even a minute after everyone got off, Hela graced them with her presence.Â
She stood across the field, eyes narrowed at the group. Immediately, Pandora stiffened, taking a single step towards Hela.Â
Hela smirked. âWe meet again.â She said, her words sending chills down Pandoraâs spine.Â
âI feel like weâve been meeting a lot recently.â Pandora said, and Hela smiled.
A dozen ravens flocked around her, eyes a haunting, beady black. âAh, so you did get my messages. I was worried they wouldnât make it from a distance.âÂ
Pandora took a deep breath. âWhat do you want?â She spat.Â
Hela didn't seem intimidated, not even at the team of superheroes and gods. âMy dear child, I only want revenge. Need I remind you how you betrayed me? Me, the one that took you and that other girl under my wing just to be cast aside.âÂ
Referring to Selia as âthat other girlâ made Pandora hurl her fists into tight balls. âYou were off the rails. Seems some things donât change.â
âI do what I must to make things happen. You should know this about me by now.â The ravens took the form of black, shadowed figures with sharponed talons.Â
Pandora narrowed her eyes. âYou donât want to do this, Hela. I wonât hold back.â
Hela cackled. âOh, darling, Iâm counting on it.â And with that, the raven-figures glided through the air and started attacking. Loki tried to stab one, but the knife just created a hole in the middle that mended itself, as if the figures were a gaseous substance.Â
The magic users got to work on the figures, spreading them thin until they were forced to revert back to their raven form. Pandora ran straight for Hela, determined to not let her get out of sight. Pandora weaved a dagger and took a diving slide to try and cut Helaâs feet off, but Hela dodged and the only thing that got stabbed was her cape.Â
Hela frowned. âI quite liked that cape. Now, Pandora, you should know you canât win this.âÂ
Pandora ignored her and jumped up, sending a wave of energy to knock Hela back. Pandora went to strike her head, but Hela disappeared. âShit.â She muttered, glancing around. Her teammates were struggling with the ravens, because they seemed to not tire in the slightest. âThor! Watch for Hela while I help Loki and Wanda take care of these.âÂ
She jumped into the middle of where the birds and figures were, whistling to get their attention. She hoped that she would be able to do this before they ate her alive. At once, all the birds swept down for her and right before they made contact, she cast a spell to set them on fire. She sighed in relief when it worked. It was risky, but it worked. She had needed them to be in close proximity for the spell to take full effect.Â
Pandoraâs attention turned to Thor and Tony fighting Hela. Her face fell as she watched Hela destroy Thorâs hammer. Wanda and Pandora rushed over to help, Wanda using her magic to hold the hammer together while Thor picked it back up and swung. But Hela just rolled her eyes and threw Wanda to the ground. âA pathetic excuse for a witch.â Hela said, and Pandora ran at her with rage.Â
Hela enwrapped Pandora in her magic, trapping her body. Hela smiled. âI taught you it wasnât smart to have weaknesses.âÂ
Pandoraâs heart dropped. Finneas. Hela could sense the horror on her face. âIâm sure his head would do well on a mount in my new castle, wouldnât it?âÂ
That was enough to get Pandora to break out of Helaâs trap, and she threw a string of daggers at her. âIâm going to fucking kill you.â Pandora said, full of anger.Â
Hela laughed. âOh, and here I was not even talking about your little brother.â This caused Pandora to pause, confused. She was vaguely aware of a new flock of ravens, but she trusted Wanda and Loki toâLoki. Where was he? She glanced around and couldnât find him.Â
âOne weakness is typical, expected even. But two, two is unforgivable. It will always be your downfall.â Hela said, and Loki appeared at her feet, her magic wrapping around his neck and choking him out.Â
Pandora cried. âLOKI!â She ran towards him, but was met with an invisible barrier. âYou fucking bitch! Let him go!â
Once again, Hela was unaffected. The Avengers caught up with Pandora, who was still banging on the barrier. Her hands were bleeding, the barrier clearly causing her pain. Thor held her back, trying to figure out what to do. âIâm going to kill him just like I killed Selia.â Hela said.
The only thing in Pandoraâs head was pure, unbridled rage. And Hela was well aware of this. Pandora cast every spell she knew, but nothing would break the barrier. She saw Lokiâs body turn unnatural shades, but his eyes told her to leave him. She didnât care.Â
When Pandora realized she wasnât strong enough to break the barrier, her tears started to fall. âHela, please. Iâll do anything, Iâll let you kill me. Just leave him and Finneas, and my friends alone.âÂ
Hela tilted her head. âA life for a life. It would seem fair, wouldnât it?âÂ
âD-donât do it!â Loki managed to choke out, even with no oxygen. Pandora ignored him.Â
Pandora put her hand on the barrier, letting her skin burn and bleed. âHela, I will help you take over Asgard, so long as you let him go.â Her voice wavered, and she wished she appeared braver than she really was.Â
Hela smirked, and let Loki collapse to the ground, heaving for oxygen. She then threw his body and sent a knife through his stomach while she grabbed Pandora. âNO!â She screamed, but Hela didnât loosen her grip.Â
âI truly have no idea if that will be lethal for him or not, Iâm not well versed on Jotun anatomy.â Helaâs magic found Pandora and her friends watched in horror while not being able to do anything.Â
Loki was the most distraught, even as Wanda was barely stopping him from bleeding out. He tried to get up, but Wanda stopped him. âYou wonât be any help like this.â She told him, but he pushed her away and got up anyway.Â
Pandoraâs eyes found his. âLoki, I chose this, remember that.â He tried to get closer to her, but he collapsed and Wanda caught him.Â
Pandora turned back to Hela, as her magic began to tighten its grip around her. âWhat next? Are you going to kill me?âÂ
âYes. If I let you help me, you would just betray me again.â Hela said, her eyes dropping to Pandoraâs neck. âBut first, Iâm going to take whatâs mine.âÂ
On Pandoraâs neck sat her necklace, the same one she hadnât taken off in centuries. Hela had gifted it to her back when they met, and it became a safety net for her magic. When Pandora practiced her magic, it was often unpredictable. That type of magic was sent straight into her necklace, preventing her from any accidents. Pandora had never understood why Hela had gifted this to her, but now she was beginning to understand.
The amount of chaos energy in the necklace by now had to be enough to level cities, maybe even planets. Hela might have found a way to channel the magic and use it to her advantage. Pandora knew she couldnât let that happen, so with one last look at her friends, and using her last breath to say âI love you guys,â she slammed her chin into the necklace with such force that smashed the necklace into tiny pieces.Â
âNO!â Hela screamed, releasing Pandora and diving for the pieces of the necklace. But it was too late, all the magic had been released, and it began wreaking havoc on their bodies. Helasâ barrier still held, which Pandora was thankful for as the power of a thousand suns enveloped her.Â
Pandora screamed in pain, and Loki started to run towards her, but Thor caught him. âLet me go, Thor!â He yelled, tears falling down his face, but Thor didnât let him go. He watched helplessly as her veins glowed gold. The magic also was hurting Hela, but not in the same way. Helaâs veins were black, like poison. But both of them were in pain, and clearly nearing the edge of death.Â
They both screamed in agony, and in turn, the barrier fell and sent out a blast of energy that knocked everyone over. The yells stopped, and everything was silent. The only noise was the whistle of the wind, an oddity in the chaotic scene.Â
For a moment, nobody moved. But then the Avengers started to get up, Loki the first among them. He ran over to Pandoraâs limp body, kneeling down and shaking her. He was vaguely aware of the semi-conscious Hela to his right, but he ignored her.Â
âPandora? Pandora wake up!â He said in a panic, checking her vitals. There was a pulse, but it was terrifyingly weak. âCan you hear me? Please say something, love.âÂ
That got her eyes to open. âSince when do you call me love?â She asked, ignoring her very frail condition.Â
Loki laughed, wiping some of the tears off of his face as he sighed in relief. He helped Pandora to sit up.
She saw the team surround them in a circle, all looking concerned. She closed her eyes, tired. She slowly breathed in and out, trying to muster her strength back. Through each breath, she felt a new pulse through her veins, coming together and enwrapping her heart in a golden fleece.
When she opened her eyes, they were the brightest gold Loki had ever seen. Brighter than the sun, alluding to powers unknown. He looked at her in surprise, to which she simply shrugged and whispered, âthe necklace.âÂ
Pandora realized that Hela was struggling to breathe nearby, and despite the team's protests, she went over to her old friend.Â
Hela was, well, in a terrible condition, even for a goddess. But that didnât stop her from glaring at Pandora. âI always knew you would be my downfall, child.â
Pandora huffed. âI wouldnât have stopped you from killing Odin, but you kept reaching too far.âÂ
Hela sighed. âAs long as Iâve lived, I will never be satisfied.â Pandora looked at the black magic poisoning her veins.
She frowned. âI know.â
There was silence for a minute, the only noise Helaâs laboured breathing. It seemed she had accepted her death, probably not willing to face her failure alive. She looked at Pandora. âI didnât kill Celia.â She mummered, causing Pandora to widen her eyes. âShe died from a sickness her body was not used to.âÂ
Pandora wanted to believe that Hela was lying, but she had no reason to lie. Tears fell down her face from the information that Pandora wasnât a direct cause in her friendâs death. At least Celia was free from roaming the land of the dead alive. That was a fate worse than being dead.
If the Avengers were uncomfortable with Pandora sitting with their foe making civil talk, they didnât say anything. They recognized their odd relationship and that Hela wasnât in a position to cause more harm.Â
With her final breaths, Hela smirked. âTell Odin to go fuck himself for me.â With a wink, Hela handed herself over to the dead for good.Â
Her breathing slowed until it stopped, and Pandora held her limp body in her arms. Pandora allowed a single tear to slip out, a testament to who Hela used to be, although that Hela was long dead.Â
After a few moments, the Avengers helped her up, and she immediately frowned as she saw Lokiâs wound. He tried to cover it with his hands, but she pushed them away. âHow are you standing?â She asked, worried.
He shrugged. âYou had more dire issues.â She rolled her eyes and unconsciously tugged at her magic, stitching his skin back together without even touching him, even though she desperately wanted to touch him.Â
âI didnât know you had healing magic.â He said, stunned.Â
Pandora looked just as surprised as him. âI didnât know either. The necklace was an old necklace where all my messed up spells were collected. Somehow, I think they⊠made me more powerful? I donât know exactly.â
He smiled, pulling her close. âMagic isnât always meant to be understood, but to be thanked.â
She hugged him. âThank you, magic!â
The Avengers made their way back to the jet. When she saw Finneas, safe and unharmed, she smiled and gave him a hug when he ran up to her.Â
âYou look hurt!â He said, frowning. âAre you hurt?â Pandora shook her head, and she wasnât lying. She felt surprisingly fine for someone who almost died. He tilted his head. âYour eyes are glowing.â
She caught a glimpse of her on a reflective surface, and her eyes were indeed glowing. Finneas laughed. âThatâs so cool! My sister is made of magic!â
Pandora laughed with him, glad he thought that she was cool. But then she remembered that he wasnât supposed to know that. She frowned, glaring at the team, specifically Thor. Â
Thor raised his hands in defense. âI didnât tell him, I swear.â She turned back to Finneas, looking at him for an explanation.
Finneas looked sheepish. âNobody told me. Iâm not stupid though, I figured it out. I mean, our parents kind of made it obvious with the way they were talking, thinking I wouldnât understand.â
Pandoraâs eyes widened in surprise. âSo you knew? This whole time?â
He nodded. âWell, since you came to pick me up from Asgard.âÂ
Loki couldnât help but laugh, and Pandora glared at him. âWhat? Heâs an observant young man.â
âYour parents are going to hate me even more now.â Pandora said with a sigh to Finneas.Â
He shrugged. âLet them. Their hate wonât do anything to stop you from being my sister.â
Pandora let her tears fall and she leaned down to give him a bear hug. âYou know just what to say, donât you?â She turned to Loki. âCareful, he might come for your silvertongue title.â
Loki scoffed. âAs if.âÂ
They all sat down, buckled up, and rode back to the tower peacefully.
The sun will shine on us again brother⊠SEDATE ME IVE WAITED 2,527 DAYS AND IF I DONT GET IT IM GOING TO CRY AND DIE AND PLEASE MARVEL PLEASE ALSO GET OWEN WILSON PLEASE
A/N: I'm back from the brink, baby! (Marvel Rivals has me in a chokehold)
Pandora walked down the large Palace halls to the throne room with confidence. Nothing would break her resolve. As her, Thor, and Loki came to a stop in front of the large doors, Loki gave her a nod of encouragement before the guards opened the doors.
In the center sat Odin and Frigga on their thrones, while next to them were Pandoraâs parents. She spared no more than a glance in their direction.Â
Odin had his staff in hand, and looked tired. The reason was likely to do with why Pandora was there in the first place. âWhat is it that you seek?âÂ
She took a deep breath. âHela has escaped, as you know. She visited me in my dreams last night, something that she does through magic. She made a threat to my brother, and I want him on Earth.â
Her mother gasped. âAbsolutely not! My son will not go anywhere near you and your curses! You will-â
âTake care of how you talk to her.â Loki said, glaring at the woman. She went silent, clearly wanting to say more, but not daring to.Â
Pandora silently thanked Loki, and she knew that he got it.
Odin looked back to Pandora. âWhy do you want him in Midgard?â
âHela will not expect it. On top of that, she isnât as familiar with Midgardâs territory. We will have the advantage.â She said.
He scratched his beard. âI donât see how it is better to send the boy to Earth. Hela could rip apart Midgard easily.â
She shook her head. âI donât think you account for all those willing to fight against her. Plus, wouldnât you rather have Midgard as collateral rather than Asgard? She would be directed to Earth first, giving you more time to prepare if things go south.â
It was dirty, pulling that card, but Pandora knew that was all Odin was really thinking about. With this in mind, there was no reason to deny her request. It was a logical and strategic play.
âVery well then. The boy shall go with you and my sons to Midgard.â Odin replied.
She smiled. âThank you, Allfather.âÂ
Her father, however, was not very happy with this. âMy king, with all due respect, my son cannot be used as a bargaining chip!â
Pandora frowned. âHe is not. He will be safe with me. Hela taught me some of her tricks, I can protect Finneas better than either of you could. No harm will come to him so long as I am alive.â
âI trust that Pandora will keep your boy safe, Alice. She is strong.â Frigga said, and Pandora sent her an appreciative smile.
Now that everything was settled and they had Odinâs approval, it was time to get Finneas.
~~~~~
Standing outside of her childhood homeâif she could even call it thatâfelt wrong. The house had worn since she had last seen it, as expected. But it looked like a happy home, not just a house.Â
Finneas was brought out by his mother, with a woven basket full of his stuff. Pandora suspected that he was the major reason for the change, along with her not being there.Â
âPandora!â He greeted, running to give her a hug. She knelt down to get on his level and accepted the hug. She felt his mom tense, but she ignored it.Â
She smiled. âItâs good to see you again Finny.âÂ
His eyes were wide. âI canât believe I get to go stay with you!â He looked to Thor and Loki who were standing nearby. âAnd the princes of Asgard! I must be really important.âÂ
Pandora laughed. âYes you are.â She got back up and resisted the urge to ruffle his hair in front of his mom.
She looked at his mom, their mom, and her smile thinned. Alice clearly wasnât happy, but she didnât have a choice, so she sighed and said, âTake good care of him.â
Pandora nodded, and took Finneasâ hand and made her way back to Midgard with the princes.
When they arrived, Finneas almost fell from dizziness, but Pandora caught him. âWow!â He exclaimed. âThat was my first time in the bifrost. That was cool.â
Thor laughed. âYou may feel a bit tired afterwards, thatâs normal.â
Finneas only nodded. He was still a bit shy about talking to Thor.Â
Up ahead the Avengers were outside, ready to greet their new guest. âWho are they?â Finneas asked, curious as they walked up to them.
âThose are my friends, the Avengers. They keep Earth, Midgard, safe.â She explained. âHere, let me introduce you. Avengers, this is Finneas.âÂ
He still didnât know that Pandora was his sister. His parents didnât want him too, and as much as she hated it, she wouldnât go against that. Perhaps it was better that way.Â
She took him down the line of Avengers, introducing him to each one and telling him what they could do. He was in awe that humans could be so intriguing and powerful, and it excited him. All of them loved the boy, and she hoped that this could become a second home for him like it had been for her.Â
Pandora set him up in a room near hers, which he said was much larger than his quarters back at home. She showed him the TV, and he practically entertained himself for the rest of the day.
While he was watching TV, she went to go talk to her friends. âHe canât know that weâre related.â She said, sighing.
Natasha scrunched her eyebrows. âWhy not? Isnât he curious?âÂ
âHis parents donât want him to know, and I donât want to deal with those consequences. He hasnât asked a lot about why heâs here yet, I assume heâs still in shock. But he will want to know.â She frowned. âObviously, I donât want him to worry, so I think we shouldnât tell him the truth. But I donât want to lie about it either. Iâm conflicted.â
Loki thought for a moment. âPerhaps we just tell him that Asgard is in a bit of danger at the moment and we thought he should take a trip here while it is. Itâs not a lie, but not the whole truth.âÂ
Pandora smiled. âThatâs perfect. If he asks, that is what Iâll say.â She met his eyes, and didnât look away. Neither did he, until Tony cleared his throat.Â
She turned to him. âHow have we set up defenses? Is it going well?â She asked.
Tony nodded. âI talked to Fury, and heâs doing everything he can on SHIELDâs part. I didnât tell him about Finneas, as I figured heâd be suspicious about it, and I didn't want him distracted. As for us, Iâve made sure we have upgraded tech and suits, transportation, and the works.â
âPerfect.â She said, âNow all we can do is wait for her to show up. I donât think that sheâll do it immediately. Once she realizes Finny is on Earth, sheâll want to take a few days and prepare.â
Bruce stepped in. âI have energy scanners set up around the world, several in New York, to alert us of spiked energy indicating magic from what Thor and Loki have shown in the past when they arrived on-planet. We do need you to describe Hela for us, so we can correctly identify her when she gets here.â
âSheâs tall, with long black hair. Green eyes. Wears a helmet that has spiky horns coming out at all angles, and she typically dresses in black and green.â Pandora said.Â
As she described Hela, Tony looked at Thor. âYou really should get a DNA test.â Thor rolled his eyes.
Pandora thought for a moment. âIâm assuming the moment sheâs detected, lethal force is on the table⊠but she might have someone with her. White, long hair and extremely pale skin. Try to avoid hurting her.â
Thor tilted his head. âWho is she?âÂ
Loki was the only one Pandora had told about Selia. So, she took a deep breath. âShe was an old friend, one I had to leave behind. She was born in Helheim, never deserved to be there. We were going to escape together, but⊠things went south.â She paused, âI donât know if sheâs alive. Probably not. But just in case, try to keep her safe.âÂ
Bruce nodded. âIâll alert SHIELD as well. Do we have a name I can put down for her?âÂ
âSelia. Her name is Selia.â Pandora said, and he typed away on a tablet. âThanks Bruce.âÂ
He finished typing. âNo problem.â
Clint looked at Pandora. âIs there anything we can do for Finneas?â
She tilted her head. âIâm not sure. Right now heâs having a good time with the TV. Tomorrow I'm going to see if thereâs anything he wants to do while heâs here. I want him to enjoy his stay until she gets here, and Iâd like to get to know him better.â
Everyone agreed, and she yawned. âIâm tired, itâs been a long day. I think Iâm going to check on Finneas and get him settled in bed and then check in for the night. Goodnight everyone.â
Goodnights were exchanged, and she walked to Finneasâ room. The TV was left on, but he was fast asleep on the couch. She smiled, and turned off the TV. She picked him up and laid him on the bed, tucking him in the blankets. As she went to leave, she saw Loki in the doorway.Â
He smiled at her. âYou okay?âÂ
She nodded. âIâm happy I get to spend some time with him, even if it might be the only time Iâll get with him. I just hope I can be enough to keep him safe.âÂ
Loki stopped her from picking her fingernails with his own hands. âHe will be safe. I know that everyone here will lay their life down before that boy is harmed.âÂ
âThanks Loki.â She yawned. âNow, I need to get some sleep. Iâm not sure what Finny will want to do tomorrow, but he sure has a lot of energy. Iâll need all of mine.â
He laughed, and led her to her room. âThat you will. Goodnight, Pandora.â
She smiled. âGoodnight Loki.â
~~~~~
Pandora woke up to a high-pitched scream. She immediately tore off her covers, running to Finneasâ room. She sighed in relief when she saw him there, in his bed, twitching in his sleep.
He was there, he was safe. But he didnât know that. So she quickly went to sit next to him, gently shaking him. Loki entered the room. âWhatâs wrong?â He asked, seeing Finneas.
âI think heâs having a nightmare.â She kept shaking him. âFinny, wake up, Iâm right here. Youâre safe.â When he didnât wake up, she frowned, and put her hand on his forehead, letting her golden threads seep in.Â
She managed to take him out of the nightmare, and his eyes blinked slowly. âPandora? Loki?â He asked, and Pandora put her arm around him.Â
âWeâre right here. Did you have a nightmare?â She asked, and he nodded. âDo you remember it?âÂ
He nodded again. âThere was this woman, and she kept running towards me, and said she was going to kill me, and then she was going to kill you.â
Pandoraâs eyes narrowed. âDo you remember what the woman looked like?â
âYes. She had black hair, and crazy green eyes.â Finneas said, and Pandora and Loki looked at each other, masking their worried expressions in front of the boy.Â
Hela must have invaded Finneasâ dreams as well. It was likely, but it also meant that she was closer than they thought. But they didnât say any of this in front of him.Â
Pandora sighed. âWell, it was only a dream. Do you need anything to get back to sleep, tea maybe?â
He shook his head. âNo, but⊠is it possible that you and Loki could sleep with me tonight?â
Her eyes widened. âBoth of us?âÂ
Finneas looked sheepish. âYes. At home, when I get nightmares, sometimes Iâll sleep in between my parents, and it makes me feel safer. Is that okay?â
She and Loki nodded. âAbsolutelyâ Pandora said, and Finneas smiled.
âThank you.â He said, and made room for Pandora and Loki on either side of him. The bed was huge, and comfortably fit all of them, but it felt so close together at the same time. Two of the people she loved, right next to her, like a family.Â
They all drifted off into a comfortable sleep, together.
~~~~~
When she woke up, Pandora felt oddly comfortable laying next to someone in bed. She listened to the person breathing, nearly falling back asleep.Â
Until she realized it was one person. Not two. Her eyes flew open, and Finneas wasnât there. She threw the covers up, waking Loki, and ran out into the hallway and into the kitchen.Â
There, she found Finneas and the others eating pancakes that Clint had made. She sighed in relief, nearly passing out. Loki followed close behind her.Â
She shook her head. âNothing. I slept in Finnyâs room last night, because he had a nightmare, and just got worried when he wasnât there. I shouldâve guessed heâd be an early riser.â
Finneas frowned. âShh. I donât want them knowing I still have nightmares.âÂ
Pandora sat next to him and ruffled his hair. âAll of us here have nightmares, kiddo. Itâs perfectly normal.âÂ
Clint nodded. âPandoraâs right, I have nightmares all the time.â
âReally?â Finneas asked, intrigued.Â
Clint flipped another pancake in the air. âReally. So donât feel embarrassed about it.â He made two new plates of pancakes and set them in front of Loki and Pandora.Â
They began eating, and Thor decided to start a conversation with Finneas. âSo, is there anything you want to do today? It is your first day here on Earth.â
Finneas thought about it for a moment. âI donât really know what there is to do here.â
âSurely thereâs something,â Loki said, âhave you read any books about midgard? Anything you saw that intrigued you?â
He chewed on his pancakes. âWell, I read this one book about a giraffe. And Iâve always wanted to see a giraffe in person, so can we do that?
Pandora nodded. âSure! They have zoos here on Earth, where you can go and see any animal imaginable. Does that sound fun?âÂ
Finneas nodded.Â
âIâll book us passes for the zoo, then. Everyone make sure to be ready by 10, okay?â Tony said, and everyone nodded.Â
Pandora turned to Finneas. âHey Finny, do you mind going back to the room and getting ready? Iâll follow you in a moment.âÂ
Finneas, who was done with his plate, nodded and got up to get ready. Once he was gone, Pandora turned back to the group.Â
âHela visited him in his nightmares. I donât know how long weâve got. But I donât think it will be today. She wants to keep us on edge, and then strike when least expected. But nonetheless, make sure to be alert at all times. Bring your weapons if you can.âÂ
Everyone looked grim, but said words of acknowledgment. Pandora sighed. âI wish it was under better circumstances, but letâs give my brother a good first day on Earth.âÂ
They all went off to get ready, and Pandora mentally prepared herself for the upcoming day.
~~~~~~
When they arrived at the zoo, the parking lot was empty. Pandora raised an eyebrow at Stark, who shrugged. âI rented the park out.â
Pandora chuckled, playfully rolling her eyes. It made sense, for security reasons, but she still found it to be an extremely Tony-Stark thing to do.Â
They made their way into the park, and they followed Finneas around while he ran from exhibit to exhibit. Pandora recited some facts about the animals that she had read, and Finneas soaked the information up happily.
It brought a smile to her face, to see her brother so full of joy. But as they went to each animal, she became more on edge. She knew that bringing Finneas with her would make him even more of a target. But, she and her team were better equipped to keep him safe. Had she done the right thing? She hoped so.Â
Loki walked beside her. âWhatâs on your mind?â He asked, face full of concern.Â
Pandora chuckled. âA lot.â In the past, she would have just left it at that. But, she felt that she could tell Loki anything. âIâm just worried I made the wrong decision by bringing him here.â
âYou didnât.â Loki said. âIf he was still on Asgard, she would have gotten to him by now.â
She nodded. Up ahead, Finneas had finally found the giraffes. âPandora! Look!âÂ
Pandora picked up her pace and stopped next to him, staring up at the towering giraffe. Next to her, Finneasâ mouth was wide open. âItâs neck⊠itâs huge!â
She laughed. âYep. So they can reach the leaves they eat.â
As the trip went on, Pandora let her worries slip away and enjoyed quality time with her friends, and her brother. The day went on without conflict, and Finneas fell asleep almost immediately when they got back to the tower. They had decided Pandora would stay and sleep with him, just in case Hela came to visit him again.Â
Then, at six oâclock in the morning, as the sun had barely started to rise, Loki came into the room and woke her up. He was already dressed in battle gear. âBruce got a hit on the signal. Sheâs in a field upstate.â
She nodded, got up, and began to formulate a plan, one that would let her get years of pent-up rage out on the woman who had haunted her nightmares, and messed with her brother.

I hate that I havenât written in a while and Iâm sorry I just canât find the motivation or the time đ mark my words no fic left unfinished (pandoras box will continue Iâve fleshed out the plot all thatâs left is writing and editing)
Hey guys does anyone remember that fic thatâs like Readers kid sends a letter to Satan instead of Santa and Satan sends Loki because Tis the Season and I need to reread it.
how is it that with every new release of an EPIC saga im like there's GOTTA be a flop this time like there's no way he's back with another banger saga its been 7 sagas now at least ONE song has to flop
and literally NO FAULT EVERY TIME it is a 10/10 saga no flops no skips only heartbreak grief and mental illness
A/N: I also am almost done with the chapter after this one maybe I'm a winner??? But anyway here's a fun chaotic chapter.
Pandora woke immediately after her nightmare, her eyes wide and alert. Her body remained where it was, perfectly still. At first, she panicked, feeling another body next to hers. Hands wrapped around her like a warm hug. But the soft breathing reminded her it was just Loki, which took on a whole other set of implications that ran through her head. But that was a second-hand thing for her brain to consider.
She contemplated how to get up without waking him. She decided to just roll out and see what happens. She managed to get out of the room without interrupting Lokiâs sleep. Making her way to the kitchen to get tea and a snack, she heard light rustling.Â
As she rounded the corner, it appeared that the kitchen was already occupied by none other than Black Widow herself. Natasha, being as alert as she was, noticed Pandora immediately. Most likely, she had heard the footsteps before she even entered the room.
âNightmare?â She asked, pouring a bowl of cereal. Pandora nodded in response. âMe too. Do you want some cereal?â
She nodded again, so Natasha poured a bowl and slid it over to her where she had taken a seat at the bar. âWanna talk about it?â Natasha asked.Â
Pandora contemplated this for a moment. It had felt good to get things off her chest earlier, but Natasha was dealing with nightmares too. Maybe if Pandora opened up, she would too.
She decided to give her the gist of it. Afterall, the nightmare was rather tame, except for the presence of what could only be a threat. âDid you know I have a brother?â She asked.
Natasha nodded. âThor briefed us when you guys returned.âÂ
Pandora took a bite of her cereal. âI didnât even know until Thor knew. My own blood. Anyways, Hela-the woman banished on Helheim with me-visits me in my dreams. Usually itâs a mix of my memories mixed with past regrets, but tonight⊠Tonight she said âYou have a wonderful brother.â And I know itâs just my subconscious, but the way she said it... The way she said it gave me chills.â
âI understand. Nightmares can feel real. Sometimes I truly believe they are real. Tonight, I dreamt about the day me and my sister were separated. I was so scared for the both of us, but especially her. She was so fragile, and knowing what we both had to go through-â she paused âSheâs an adult now. We talk some, but both of us are scarred from the organization we left.â
Pandora offered a comforting smile. âWe all have our scars Natasha. Itâs unfortunate that we carry more than most, but I like to think that my scars have led up to who I am now, who Iâm proud of. I can see that that is certainly the case for you. You are a remarkable woman, and Iâm sure your sister is lucky to have you.â
Natasha sent back a similar smile. âThanks, Pandora, that means a lot to me. Iâm sure that your brother is just as lucky, even if you two only met recently.â
The two of them ate in silence for a while, until Natasha decided that she should pry some more. In the most casual voice, she asked, âAre you and Loki together?âÂ
Pandora spit out some of her cereal and nearly choked. âWhat? What would make you think that?!â
That reaction only spurred Natasha on. âYou spend an awful lot of time together, and I didnât see him leave your room tonight after he brought you there.â
Trying to hide her red face, Pandora considered what it might look like from an outside perspective. âWe certainly arenât dating.â
Natasha raised an eyebrow. âBut? Do you want to be?â
âI donât know.â Pandora said. âThese past few months have gone by in a blur. I havenât really thought about it that much. But he makes me feel comfortable and he is definitely attractive, and he seems to always know exactly what I need. But this is uncharted territory for me, Iâm unfamiliar with these feelings.âÂ
This was the first time Pandora admitted to herself that she might have a crush on Loki. She buried the foreign feeling right when it came up, but now that Natasha had forced it up, well, she didnât know what to do.Â
Cleaning out her cereal bowl, Natasha asked, âHave you ever been in a relationship before?â
Pandora shook her head. âNo, nothing serious. Always on the run, there was no chance to get involved with anyone besides a fling or two.â
Natasha sighed. âI still donât like him that much, but I can see that he does care for you. You two should talk about it.âÂ
âAbsolutely not. Loki is not one to trust easily and I will not throw that away over silly feelings. Besides, Iâm certain Loki is just being friendly. Weâre practically best friends.â
Natasha narrowed her eyes. âIâm sorry, is he not asleep in your bed right now?â
This caused Pandora to falter, realizing that she had, in fact, asked Loki to sleep with her a few hours ago. âThat was such a bad idea-â
âWhat was a bad idea?â Loki asked, stepping out from the shadows and coming to a stop next to Pandora, putting one hand on her shoulder.Â
âNothing.â Pandora squeaked, Natasha sending her an annoying smirk.Â
Loki frowned. âDid you have another nightmare?â He asked, and Pandora nodded, yawning. He could sense she was tired. âWould you like me to make you some tea or do you want to go back to bed?âÂ
Realizing that she was, in fact, extremely tired after considering her tangled emotions, she opted to head back to bed.
âGoodnight, Pandora, Loki.â Natasha said, sending Pandora a knowing smile.Â
Heading back to her room, Pandora smiled back. âNight Nat.â
Loki wanted to press on why Pandora dismissed what she and Natasha were talking about, but it was late and he valued her privacy. Even if it was eating him on the inside to know everything about her. What a weird feeling, really, one he hadnât felt before.Â
So instead of nagging her, he simply walked her back in bed, letting her curl up beside him with his arms over her shoulders. He did his best to not let his mind wander to what this meant, to where their friendship was headed, but instead vowed to always be there for Pandora as long as she would have him. In any way she would have him. If this was love, he did not know, for all his life he had never known real love.Â
~~~~~
The next morning, Pandora woke to an empty bed. It didnât surprise her, but she was slightly disappointed. Nonetheless, she made her way to grab breakfast in the kitchen. While Loki was not one to be up and about in the mornings, Thor was. So it was unusual that he wasnât there. Steve, however, was.Â
She turned to him. âDo you know where Thor is?â She asked him.
He nodded. âHe left a note saying that he got called away to Asgard. Lokiâs with him as well.âÂ
Pandora frowned. âDo you know why?â She asked, worried. If it had to do with her, which it probably did, it likely wouldnât be good.Â
Steve shook his head. âNo, I donât. Sorry.â Noticing her worry, he added, âIâm sure everything is okay.âÂ
She nodded, and continued on with her morning routine like normal. She kept telling herself that everything was okay. That was, until Thor and Loki arrived with grim looks on their faces.
Pandora was on the couch looking out the window, zoned out, when the two arrived. She immediately turned towards them and her face dropped when she saw their looks.
Was it about her? Did they change their minds, and they wanted Pandora back on Helheim? Would she finally lose all sheâs gained? She wanted to ask all of these questions, but she held back, not wanting to be the first to speak.Â
âWe must call a team meeting.â Thor said, and Pandora nodded. She sent out a group text, and everyone gathered in the conference room.
Loki sat next to Pandora, putting a hand in hers to comfort her. Thor was at the head of the table, and had everyone's attention. âI have grave news,â he paused, âHela has escaped.â
Pandora inhaled swiftly. The team shifted around, glancing at her. They waited for Thor to continue.
âWe do not know how she escaped. Or where she is now. So it is suggested that we prepare for the worst. Asgard is being fortified, and we must do the best we can here. Iâm not sure where or when she shall attack.â He said.
Pandora remembered her latest nightmare. âHow long has she been gone?âÂ
Thor scratched his head. âWe donât know exactly, but at least twenty-four hours of Earth time.â
Back on Helheim, Hela had taught Pandora a type of dreamwalking magic. Where one could enter others dreams, turn them into nightmares. It wasnât just a nightmare, it was a dream Hela invaded. Which meant the threat, the threat was real.Â
Pandora abruptly stood up. âFinneas. Is he okay?âÂ
Thor nodded. âYour brother is fine. He will be under Asgardâs protection.â
She shook her head. âAsgardâs protection isnât enough. Hela was there, there in my dream. It was her, and the threat was real. Sheâs going to go after him to hurt me. We need to bring him here. I need to be able to keep an eye on him. I donât trust Odin to protect him.â
Tony tilted his head. âAsgard has an army, we have us. Are you sure it wouldnât be safer to keep him there?âÂ
âSheâll expect that. Besides, weâre Earthâs Mightiest Avengers. Weâre something of an army ourselves.â Pandora gave him a small smile, all the smile she could manage at the moment.
Thor sighed. âItâs going to be difficult to convince Odin and your parents to-â
She interrupted him. âThor, I will kidnap him if I need to. He is my little brother, and even my parents have to recognize that I know how Hela works. I know her tricks, and I very well may be the only option to keep Finneas safe.â
He nodded. âAlright. Me, you, and Loki shall leave in an hours time. In the meantime, everyone else prepares Earthâs defenses. Get ready for the goddess of death.â
A/N: Ok so like it's totally not been months idkwym (I'm incapable of a schedule)
Losing yourself isnât easy.
 At first Pandora didnât even realize that was what was happening. After a couple months of relative normalness, she hadnât seen it coming.
It started slow, simple enough to where she didnât question it. Her nightmares got just a little more descriptive, a little more worrisome. She pinned it on stress from one of her missions.
The first time she really took a moment and questioned what was going on was after stepping out of the shower and seeing the number one woman of her nightmares in the mirror. It had been a long day, and she figured she just needed to rest.
But things never seemed to improve. The nightmares just got worse, she kept seeing things, and on top of that, there was a constant pain on her collarbone.Â
Despite all this, Pandora did manage. She still completed her missions, still hung out with her friends. But after each incident, she felt a little layer form over her eyes, pushing her away from reality.
Part of her wanted to reach out to someone and tell them what was happening, but most of her didnât. She had always handled everything personal herself, not wanting others to get lost in her chaos. So what if she had some trauma? Everyone there did. She wasnât special. Only, it wasnât trauma or grief, or anything she had thought it to be.
Thatâs not to say the team didnât notice. Most of them did. But they too, suffered in silence. They understood what it was like to have a burden so heavy that it suffocates. So before they realized the depth of Pandoraâs struggles, they didnât pressure her to talk to them about it. Besides an added emphasis on taking time for oneself, their dynamic was normal.
Loki went about things a bit differently than the rest of the team, as expected of the outlier. He would try to subtly ask questions about it in a conversation. Pandora, most of the time, worked around them.Â
What he did know was that it had to be connected to Helheim. He knew that her nightmares were getting worse. There was an increased frequency on the amount of times he ran into her in the middle of the night making tea. When that happened, he always stayed in her company until she made her way back to bed.Â
As much as he enjoyed spending late nights with her in silence, he understood that they stemmed from nothing but negative thoughts keeping her awake, and he wanted those to end.Â
But not even Loki could understand the depth of her troubles as Pandoraâs mind and body fought each other, anxiety creeping in from every angle, suffocating her. At this point, Pandora knew that there was something wrong, but she was too afraid of reaching out. After all, it was just paranoia.Â
There was something to them-the nightmares-that just put her on edge. She could feel them. Yet she pushed the feelings down and told herself she needed to grow up, that everything was in the past.Â
Despite trying to ignore the nightmares, visions, and downright panic attacks, everything got worse.
One day, coming out of her room to grab a snack, she noticed a swish of long black hair in the corner of her eye. She flung a knife towards an unsuspecting Loki, who luckily was able to stop it.Â
Everyone in the room turned towards Pandora as her hands fell to her side and her jaw fell open. âLoki- Iâm sorry, I thought you wereâŠâ
âEnough, Pandora, you need to tell us what is going on with you. If you donât want to tell everyone you at least need to tell me.â Loki said. He didnât appear to be angry, and that just made her feel even worse.
Pandora sighed and looked down. âEveryone here is burdened, and Iâm no different. This is my burden to bear, Loki, I cannot add to everyone elseâs worries.â
He frowned. âThe burden is crushing you, everyone here sees that. Sometimes you need to hand off bits and pieces of it to survive. We all are worried for you.â
She looked around and saw that everyone else looked upon her with worry. âAlright,â she stuttered, âlet me sit down. I should tell you all at the same time. Is everyone here?âÂ
After everyone had been accounted for, they sat at a table, all eyes on Pandora. Loki sat right beside her, trying to be as comforting as he could.Â
âI donât even know how to begin. Loki, Thor⊠I lied. I know who is on Helheim. The only reason I couldnât say was because itâs quite probable that Iâm the only person who knows of her besides Odin.â
Loki and Thor looked confused. âWhy would Odin not tell us then?â Thor asked.Â
Pandora winced, she didnât want to be the one to deliver this news. But if Odin would never do it, she would have to. âBecause itâs his biggest secret.â
They waited for her to continue. âHer name is Hela. Sheâs the goddess of death, and former princess of Asgard. Sheâs your sister.â
Her words were followed by silence. So much so that she had to fill it. âIâm sorry to bring the news, but Itâs-â
âWhy is she in Helheim?â Loki asked. It was a relief to Pandora that he believed her.Â
She hesitated before answering. âShe became too power-hungry when Odin began to wind down on the wars. She tried to take over everything, and nearly succeeded, had she not been banished.â
Natasha was the one to speak next. âIs this why youâve been so on edge?â
Pandora nodded. âSomewhat. I see her in my sleep every night, but I can feel them. Itâs as if the nightmares were real. And Itâs not only at night, Iâve seen her watching me in the mirror, whispering from my walls-â She had to choke back a sob, âIâm just so tired of it and I donât know why itâs happening. All my life, it has never been this bad. Itâs almost like sheâs haunting me.â
Loki rubbed her hand in support, as she took a steadying breath. âIâm sorry for not coming to you guys about this earlier. I always try to deal with my own problems myself first.â
âYouâre part of a team now. Weâre here to help.â Steve said, sending her a supportive smile.Â
Thor finally spoke up. âThank you for telling us, Pandora. Is this why you threw the knife at Loki?â
She nodded. âHela has long black hair similar to Lokiâs. I was caught off guard, in my head. I apologize, Loki.â
Loki smiled at her. âAlready forgiven.â
Tony snorted. âAnd they say Loki's the adopted one.â
A bit of humor was what Pandora needed, and she realized that she was tired.Â
âThank you all for listening, but I need to get to bed. I can answer more questions tomorrow, hopefully things will be clearer in my head then.â She said, and everyone wished her goodnight.
Without asking, Loki got up and walked her to her room. When they got there, and he began to leave, she grabbed his hand. He looked up at her. âCould you⊠Stay? I donât want to be weird, but I really would feel better if-âÂ
âOf course.â He said, without hesitating, and they sat together on the bed.Â
Tears began to fall from her eyes. Loki pulled her into a comforting hug, and she finally cried, crying each layer of glaze that had pushed her away from her friends, letting her see clearly once again.
Although many people say sleeping with other people you trust reduces nightmares. It was truly a shame that in the early hours of the morning, when everyone was asleep, that in her pitch black brain, a singular face decided to show up with a few choice words: âYou have a wonderful brother,â followed by the haunting giggle of her little brother.
