Witchcraft 102 Masterpost
So. You’ve covered the basics. You know what every kind of ritual tool does, you understand all the terms that seemed alien to you before and you think you’re finally starting to get a feel for this witchcraft thing. You’re not a baby witch anymore, but… where to from here? Making the move from beginner witch to intermediate witch is a lot more difficult than it seems, purely because resources aimed at intermediate witchcraft are few and far between. But there’s a good reason for that.
There are general rules and ideas that can be applied across all of witchcraft. There’s so much to learn from other witches, but your greatest teacher will always be yourself. There is a reason witchcraft is so customisable to the individual: some things just work better for certain people. Not to mention pretty much every magick practice in history was developed by witches using their intuition! Because of this, it’s hard to create resources that tell somehow how to go from a beginner to an intermediate. However, they do exist! You’ll just find that most of them will act as prompts or scaffolds. They’ll instruct you on how to figure things out for yourself.
This next stage of your craft will involve a lot of introspection, and a lot of trusting your gut. It’s the reason you learnt all that baby witch stuff in the first place. This is where most of the personal growth happens. It can be scary, but it’ll also be magical. It’ll be a while before you actually qualify as an ‘intermediate witch’, and there’s no shame in that. The process of moving from beginner to intermediate is one that can take years, simply because witchcraft is such a deep and complex art. I myself definitely wouldn’t identify as a baby witch, but I’m still a beginner in many aspects despite having been a witch for years.
Without further ado, I present to you witchcraft 102.

ORGANISATION
When reading through information, I recommend taking notes on the content, as well as your thoughts on it. Do you notice any connections to other texts or ideas? Do you have any questions you’d like to follow up? This will not only help you remember the information, but encourage you to look at it critically and see the bigger picture. Here is an example of my personal note-taking scaffold which includes some of the notes I took a while ago. I adapted it from the Cornell notes system based on my personal needs.
At TechnoCoven, a recent online witchcraft convention, there was an hour-long panel about planning in witchcraft called Spirit Papers. Here is a link to the recording. It goes over different organisation systems, notebooks, etc.
Why you should cite sources

What is an annotated bibliography?
I would highly recommend setting aside a specific time every day to study witchcraft. This way, you will be improving your craft every day. Even if you only set aside half an hour, you will be doing three and a half hours of study a week. An hour a day totals to seven hours a week. If you can’t find a specific time every day, then find a specific time every week. 6pm-8pm on Tuesday and Saturday, for example, or reserve all of Sunday afternoon. This structure obviously isn’t compulsory, but with it you will advance at a much quicker pace and probably find your craft more fulfilling.
You should definitely have a grimoire already, but if you don’t, get one. It can be on paper or online, if you’d prefer. OneNote, Evernote, Microsoft Word and Google Docs are all viable digital options. You probably have lots of loose information lying around, whether its physical, in note form or on your Tumblr blog. Categorise it and order it. Then go through it. Document the important and useful parts in your grimoire.

If you feel distant from the Gods…
It has happened to all of us once or twice, whether we are new worshippers, experienced worshippers, or even priests. There has come a time in our lives when we’ve felt that we didn’t do as much as we wanted to do, where we told ourselves that the Gods would be mad at us for how little we’ve done, that you felt as if your life has been disconnected religiously and spiritually.
Here’s my few little tips as an initiated devotee and a long-term practitioner to help curb those guilty feelings.
🌿 Whether or not you feel their presence, the Gods are always with you, watching your journey. Helios is the sun upon your skin, Artemis is the deer in the woods that you haven’t noticed. You might feel as if they have abandoned you, but the world itself still blesses you with its beauty, all crafted by the Gods themselves.
🌿 There is no daily requirement of how much you need to worship in order to be considered a “good” Hellenic polytheist. Even the Ancient Greeks did not worship every single day. Sometimes holidays for certain Gods only happened once a month; they had to struggle with worshipping 12+ Gods, too!
🌿 Start off small. If you haven’t been practicing your religion for a while, don’t feel like you have to throw yourself head-first into elaborate rituals to try and make up for lost time. You’re going to burn yourself out! Instead, try to devote daily activities such as brushing your hair and cleaning your room to the Gods you wish, or perhaps even saying a little goodmorning to the Gods whenever you wake up.
🌿 The Gods will not hate you for taking a break. The Gods will not hate you for doubting your spirituality and your faith. These experiences are all such intimate parts of being human, and you are not the first person to question what you are feeling - and you won’t be the last!
🌿 Try to turn your absence, no matter how long, into a little story to catch up with. One night, try to sit down and light a candle and talk to your God about everything that has been happening while you were away. What happened in your life? What did you struggle with? What did you succeed with?
🌿 Remember that, in the end, the Gods have been with you from the beginning and they will not leave you now. Time is relative to them, and a few months, or perhaps even years, that you were absent to them will not impact them as much as the return of a wonderful, unique worshipper will. You are worthy of this religion. You are enough.
And, if in the end, if you decide that religion isn’t for you, may the Gods bless you on your new journey.

Counterfeit Deities
Because holy shit have the past 3 days been a fucking shit show.
I've previously mentioned I was guessing Aphrodite was attempting to call me in my dreams, which I found weird as I don't want to go near deities yet and she seemed like such a random one to pop up.
It wasn't Aphrodite.
I contacted this thing via pendulum and it refused to answer like 90% of my questions and I got a migraine once that session was over, already a red flag from my own fucking spirit work but I pressed on. I spent the rest of the day researching deities online and in my books and asking witches who I knew worked with her "Hey, what was your experience like??" and again, the way this thing was acting didn't add up and I should've stopped trying to communicate. I pressed on again. I did a deep meditation before bed and that night the thing actually talked to me.
It went on this spiel about how it had "chosen" me and that I was to submit to it and worship it and it would repay me heavily in due time if I followed what it was saying. It told me I had no choice in the matter.
My half a day's worth of research pointed at a big fuck off sign that read "THIS ISN'T APHRODITE".
Before I could do anything about it though I woke up and vomited and have been lying in bed since exhausted and unable to eat for most of the day (And I'm 99% sure I'm not just normal ill; I have not left the house in 2 weeks due to the lockdown so no chance of getting any stomach bug outside, I don't have food poisoning as I ate the same things my family has eaten and no one else is sick and no one else previously had any bugs, this sickness came out of nowhere)
This is something I knew could happen, however I have seen little information on so fuck it, I'm throwing it down because some other witch who's trying to work with deities for the first time or some idiot who didn't properly research is going to fall for this shit and could get hurt.
DEITY WORK IS A CONSENSUAL THING FOR BOTH PARTIES
You and the matron or patron have to consent to work with each other. Just because a deity reaches out to you does not mean you have to drop everything and work with them. Just like how you can leave offerings for a deity but they just may not be interested in working with you due to timing, you may not be suited best to that certain deity, a million things.
DEITIES DON'T "CLAIM" YOU/SPEW TO YOU THAT YOU'RE THE "CHOSEN ONE"
I've seen this phrase tossed around here and a shit load on the TikTok Witch Community that people are "claimed" by deities. This is also not true. You can be called by a deity, they can drop hints that they wish to work with you over a period of time (not all at once like what happened with me, it may take weeks, months, a year, longer). These hints can vary and are usually symbolic in nature so you may not pick up on them right away. You may dream of a person who strikes you differently and looks like a certain deity (what I thought was happening to me), sometimes symbols of a certain deity start appearing in your life, etc. Deities don't "claim" people though, as that breeches the consent part I mentioned. You don't suddenly belong to a deity just because they wish to work with you.
DEITIES DON'T ACT SHADY AS SHIT
Honestly, deities don't have the time to be beating around the bush with you. If you figure out a deity is trying to communicate with you and you reach out with questions they are most likely going to answer you. They won't bullshit around refusing to answer questions you have, especially if they're interested in working with you. Also they don't ask you to worship and grovel to them, there's a reason why pagans and witches say they "work with" deities. It's a mutual exchange, you respect them and give them offerings and prayers or whatever and they will support you in spells, times of need and perform favours for you. What you put in is what you'll get out of it, vice versa.
DEITIES ALSO DON'T LEAVE YOU FEELING HORRIBLE AND SICK
Honestly if they pulled this shit on everyone I don't know why anyone would be working with them.
_____________
IN CONCLUSION (+Specfically for baby witches)
In case ye were wondering, I am okay and safe now. I cleansed my house and room and have put up specfic wards using sigils to keep anything bad out but to let anything good in (a potential REAL deity perhaps 👀👀). While I did fuck up and make a mistake by dismissing red flags, I'm sure I'll be able to look back on this at some point in the future and be thankful I learned never to ignore my intuition again.
If it was the actual Aphrodite I probably wouldn't have taken her up on this offer straight away anyway, 1. I know barely anything about deity work and would probably need a good year to learn and research everything and 2. My own needs and issues need to be tended first before I can begin to appease a literal God or Goddess. I would maybe like to work with a deity in the far away future but right now is not the time for that.
From the research I did do to try wrap my head around this and to make this post, I honestly do get why people work with deities, it seems like a wonderful connection to have and I'm sure it's a fulfilling relationship to be a part of. However, due to the work and commitment it takes and the possibility of incidents like what happened to me happening, baby witches or inexperienced witches shouldn't be rushing into this. Witchcraft in general is not a thing you can speed read in a few weeks and rush into expecting brilliant results, if you fuck around it will come back around and punch you in the face so please be smart. I feel like people get excited looking at the advanced stuff or get unintentionally pressured by the community of witches who have already found their deities or work with other entities and then week one start using a ouija board to talk to their "deity" who showed up yesterday to drain them of their energy before they learn any basics like protective magick or anything like that and it's honestly quite a dangerous situation.
Anyway, you're not missing out on anything by spending a couple of months just reading and building up your skills before jumping in so just brew some tea, grab some books, start slow and small and always stay safe and protect yourself.
🔮A Huge Tarot Master-Post🔮
Hello~ I figured I’d make my first master-post about Tarot! This is my interpretation, so I don’t ask that you just go by my word. It’s your path! I’m just here to try to help.
This will be VERY in-depth. So I apologize in advance for the lengthy post, but I hope it will help.
What is “Tarot”?
Personally for myself I see Tarot as a tool. I use it to help myself and others with some guidance with their lives; however, when it comes to Tarot, don’t let it rule over your decisions in your life. It is a tool but that does not mean that you should only go by what it says.
Types of Readings
There are two types of readings when it comes to Tarot: Question readings and Open Readings.
Question Readings
Just as the title says Tarot involves answering questions. Yes or No questions aren’t meant to be answered by Tarot. When it comes to Yes or No questions pendulums are used with their corresponding charts. Like I stated before, you shouldn’t use Tarot to make decisions but to guide you to help you make the decision yourself. The way a question is stated is important for Tarot readers. Here’s a few tips on what you should look out for:
🔮 Keeping your options open: If you already have an answer for your question, then you’re not really letting yourself allow the cards to guide your decision. Asking how you could encourage your mother-in-law to move out, as opposed to asking how you can get along better with her, is narrowing the scope of the true question by answering it before you even get started.
🔮 Details: Your question should be focused, but not overly detailed. Rather than looking at one particular aspect of a problem, find a way to look more broadly at it. For example, rather than asking how you can make your home life less chaotic, ask how you can better balance work schedules and school schedules. That is a focused question. But do not go so far as to ask how you can coordinate baseball, soccer and karate schedules and still have family time – that’s too detailed. Only include the minimum level of detail needed in order to express what you want to learn from the cards.
🔮 Focus on Yourself: If the reading is for yourself, make sure your question focuses on you rather than on someone else who you think may be the root of your problem. If you’re wanting to help someone, for example, ask about what you can do to help them.
🔮 Stay Neutral: Basically be unbiased. Don’t come off with the notion that your POV is the “right” one. Asking why you’re always the one getting yelled at between you and your parent(s) isn’t neutral; instead, ask how you can prevent future arguments with your parent(s). That’s neutral!
🔮 Be Positive: When it comes to Tarot, and anything really, you’ll want to always try to be positive. Instead of asking why a specific event didn’t happen, ask about what you can do to make that event happen. Positivity is always great!
Open Readings
These are also known as “General” readings. They address the larger aspects of life rather than a question or a specific area. I’ve found that Past, Present, Future readings are very popular since it talks about people’s lives. They’re always eager to see if the cards can truly tell about their life! You can also direct the General readings towards a basic “genre”. Career, Health, Finances, Love, etc.
The Tarot Deck
There are many varieties of Tarot decks, and there is no standard number of cards across all decks. While the types of cards, the suits and their meanings are the same, the illustrations vary greatly. Decks are based on various themes such as nature, animals, fantasy, dragons, etc.
When it comes to finding a deck of your own, don’t just choose one based on the design. Focus on the connection between you and your future tool, your future guide. I have the Tarot Draconis Deck that called to me. It’s a beautiful dragon based deck that has connected with me. The bond we have today is inseparable!
I say “bond” because each deck has it’s own personality. That’s why Tarot readers do interview “spreads” to help them get to know their decks a bit better. I’ll explain spreads more thoroughly later on in this post. When it comes to their personalities, some decks are blunt, some are meant for giving other people readings and others could be laid back.
The Major and Minor Arcana
When you look through a Tarot Deck, there will be two different sets of cards: Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. Let’s look at the Minor Arcana first. You’ll find that like regular playing cards there are four suits; however, instead of hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs there are Wands, Pentacles (Circles), Cups (Chalices), and Swords. Each of these represents an element.
Each suit has meaning regarding a specific approach to life. The cards within these suits are numbered one through 10 and also include the court cards – the king, queen, knight and page (knave). The Minor Arcana cards represent the more minor, practical daily ups and downs in life.
The Major Arcana are not associated with the suits. They include the picture cards that represent principles, concepts and ideals. They are numbered one through 21, with the 22nd card (the “Fool”) marked as zero. The Major Arcana cards represent strong, long-term energy or big events in some area of life.
Minor Arcana and the Four Suits
As I stated before, each of the Suits represents an element. Let’s talk about each one and break down what they mean, as well as the cards within them. Then we’ll move on to the Major Arcana!
When it comes to the different cards, there are negatives and positives. When a card is upside-down, the term being “reversed”, then it represents negative attributes of that card. When it’s upright then it represents positive attributes.
For myself, I don’t read reverse cards. I base it on my intuition. I’ll explain how your intuition is used with tarot later on in this post.
Suit of Pentacles
🌱Also known as Coins, Disks, or Circles.
🌱Represents the element Earth.
🌱Covers material aspects of life including work, business, trade, property, money and other material possessions.
🌱 Pentacles deal with the physical or external level of consciousness and thus mirror the outer situations of your health, finances, work, and creativity. They have to do with what we make of our outer surroundings – how we create it, shape it, transform it and grow it.
🌱 On a more esoteric level, Pentacles are associated with the ego, self-esteem and self-image.
🌱 The positive aspects of the Suit of Pentacles include manifestation, realization, proof and prosperity.
🌱 The negative aspects of the Suit of Pentacles (i.e. when the Pentacles cards appear reversed) include being possessive, greedy and overly materialistic, over-indulging and not exercising, not effectively managing one’s finances, and being overly focused on career to the detriment of other life priorities.
Often what is required to counteract these negative aspects is a return to nature to ground oneself and rediscover what is truly important. In addition, there may be blockages in being able to manifest ideas and plans resulting in a lack of success. Better goal-setting and planning is required.
🌱 When referring to timing in a Tarot reading, the Suit of Pentacles traditionally represents Winter or years.
🌱 In a deck of playing cards, Pentacles corresponds to Diamonds.

Suit of Swords
🌫️ Represents the element Air.
🌫️ Associated with action, change, force, power, oppression, ambition, courage and conflict.
🌫️ Action can be both constructive and/or destructive, sometimes resulting in violence. This suit can also mean hatred, battle, and enemies, and of all the suits, this one is considered to be the most powerful and dangerous.
🌫️ The Suit of Swords deals with the mental level of consciousness that is centred around the mind and the intellect. Swords mirror the quality of mind present in your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs.
🌫️ Swords themselves are double-edged and in this way the Suit of Swords symbolises the fine balance between intellect and power and how these two elements can be used for good or evil. As such, the Swords must be balanced by spirit (Wands) and feeling (Cups).
🌫️ The negative aspects of the Suit of Swords (i.e. when the Swords cards appear reversed) include anger, guilt, harsh judgement, a lack of compassion and verbal and mental abuse.

Suit of Cups
🌊 Represents the element Water.
🌊 Also known as Chalices.
🌊 Deals with the emotional level of consciousness and are associated with love, feelings, relationships and connections.
🌊 Cups are about displays of emotion, expression of feelings and the role of emotions in relation to others.
🌊 The Cups Tarot cards indicate that you are thinking with your heart rather than your head, and thus reflect your spontaneous responses and your habitual reactions to situations.
🌊 Cups are also linked to creativity, romanticism, fantasy and imagination.
🌊 The negative aspects of the Suit of Cups (i.e. when the Cups cards appear reversed) include being overly emotional or completely disengaged and dispassionate, having unrealistic expectations and fantasizing about what could be.
There may be repressed emotions, an inability to truly express oneself and a lack of creativity.
🌊 The Suit of Cups traditionally represents the west and Summer. If using an ordinary deck of playing cards,
🌊 Cups are represented by the Suit of Hearts.

🔮 - If a Tarot reading is predominantly made up of the Minor Arcana Tarot cards, you are dealing with day-to-day issues which will not necessarily having a lasting influence on your life.
These issues are passing through, presenting you with an opportunity to learn from these experiences (look to any Major Arcana cards to identify and understand these lessons and how they may impact your life in the long-term).
Major Arcana
The Major Arcana Tarot cards (also known as the trump cards) form the foundation of the Tarot deck and consists of twenty-one numbered cards and one unnumbered card (the Fool).
They represent a path to spiritual self-awareness and depict the various stages we encounter as we search for greater meaning and understanding. In this way, they hold deeply meaningful lessons.
The Major Arcana Tarot card meanings illustrate the structure of human consciousness and, as such, hold the keys to life lessons passed down through the ages. Tarot Spreads
Now that we’ve talked about the Minor and Major Arcanas, let’s talk about Tarot spreads! Before any Tarot reader does a reading, they shuffle their cards. This allows them to transfer their energy into the deck.
Once the cards are shuffled and the deck has been cut, the reader lays out the cards in a pattern called the spread. Each position in the spread has a meaning, and there are many different types of spreads, ranging from those that incorporate a single card to spreads that include all 78 cards of the deck. Which spread is used is up to the reader and the specific type of question or reading. Some spreads focus more on a specific type of information. For example, one spread might focus more on emotional matters, while another might bring in more information about the influences of others. One of the most common spreads is the Celtic Cross.
Interpreting the Spread:
Once the cards are laid out, their meanings are interpreted based on their positions and their neighboring cards. Let’s look at the Celtic Cross spread:
Begin by looking at the Circle/Cross section. The cards in this position represent what is happening in your life at the time of the reading.
Next, look at the first six cards in pairs. These cards paint a picture of your immediate situation. The cards in position 1 (the central issue) and position 2 (the secondary issue that can either be opposing or reinforcing) will identify the central theme of the reading. The cards in position 3 (the root cause that can be an unconscious influence or deeper meaning) and position 5 (your attitudes and beliefs, a conscious influence, your goal or an alternate future) represent things that are going on within you at different levels. And, the cards in position 4 (your past, a receding influence or something that has been resolved) and position 6 (the future or an approaching influence or unresolved factor) represent how people and events are flowing through your life.
Next, look at the Staff section of the spread, again considering cards in pairs. Looking at the cards in position 7 (as you are, as you could be, as you present yourself and as you see yourself) and position 8 (your outside environment, someone else’s point of view and you as others see you) tells you about your relationship with your environment.
Finally, look at the card in position 10 (the outcome-overall, your inner state, your actions or effects) to see the projected outcome.
Ask yourself how you feel about the projected outcome. What does it say to you?
Go back and review the cards that led up to that outcome, and see if there is a card that stands out as they key to that outcome. Then, look back at card 5 to see if the projected outcome is also shown as an alternate outcome there. Look at the card representing the near future in position 6 to see if it supports or contributes to the projected outcome. Finally, look at the card in position 9 (guidance, key factors, hopes and fears or overlooked factors) to see there is any relevance there.
This is one of many different spreads. You can even make your own spreads! Ultimately, start small and learn as you go. Spreads are very easy once you get the hang of it.
Intuition
Last but certainly not least, we’re going to talk about Intuition!
What is intuition? A thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.
When it comes to Tarot cards, and giving out readings or doing one for yourself, intuition is key. Witchcraft in general involves intuition 9 times out of 10! For example, when I do my readings for people, I don’t just go by what the cards mean. I trust my intuition about what it means, with my gut feeling. If I feel it’s something to do with family, I go with it. If it has something to do with an important event coming up in the future, I trust it.
You may not get it down right away, and that’s perfectly okay! It’ll take some time to get it down pat. Just don’t forget to listen to your gut!
There you go! I hope this Master Post helps you guys learn a little more about Tarot. I’ll be posting another one later for in-depth descriptions of all the cards!
Brightest blessings!

you all liked the first batch of sigils so much, I thought I would give you more.
She is singing an ancient herding song from mid-north Sweden and Norway. I sense very old vibrations in the calling tones. See what happens to the cows as the singing calls. The singer is Jonna Jinton.

Tiny Ex-Christian Brain: repent! repent! go before the gods and beg for forgiveness! you’re a sinner!
Apollo, chilling on my windowsill with the crows: bro calm down
Thought I'd share this as it's important to know. Some gems are actually toxic when introduced to water. You wouldn't want to go accidentally dripping poison around your space :)
PSA
This might be an offensive take for tumblr, but if you or any blood family member you know of has a history of mental illness, you should really get screened for that before you get into anything occult-related. Psychotic symptoms can happen in just about anyone, and other emotional issues can make the occult a detrimental experience for you rather than a positive one.
This is not to say that people with mental illnesses can't do occult things. But I have bipolar disorder and have struggled with this in the past, so I always feel the need to emphasize its importance. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this can literally save your life.
I’m psychotic and this is incredibly important. It’s very easy to brush off symptoms of illnesses as something occult or spiritual, but that can be incredibly dangerous. You can fall into bad habits, mistake delusions and paranoia as signs from spirits/deities, form obsessions with your practice, etc.
This also goes for physical illnesses. If you’re frequently experiencing specific physical sensations like dizziness or migraines or vision issues, even during occult or spiritual things, that might be an effect of what you’re doing. But it might also be a serious medical issue that you could be triggering with things like incense or stress over spirituality.
Talk to your doctors and other medical professionals. Be honest and take care of all your physical bases before you brush things off as metaphysical.
Yes to the physical illness addiction too!
Sharehouse Peace Witch's Ladder
This one's been in the works for me for a week or so but I finally had enough peace in my busy moving schedule to sit down and make a pair - one for the front door and one for the back.
Use 9 silver [coloured] bells in place of knots or feathers so that these double as a door protection Witch Bell/s. Their peal as the door is opened wards off dark energies and brings in positive energy.
Use 3 threads:
Blue - for peace, calm, healing and protection
Yellow - for clear communication (So important in a share house)
Black- to absorb negative energy
I used embroidery thread but strips of fabric or anything you have around will do fine, as long as your bells can thread on.
Tie a loop large enough to slip on to your door handle, and then thread on your first bell. I always thread my bells onto the black thread so that they will reinforce each others ability to repel and control dark energies.
Start plaiting! Each time you cross a thread over repeat to yourself its purpose: "peace and calm, clear communication absorb the negative, peace and calm, clear communication, absorb the negative-" I find this helps my intent stay focused for such long projects.
When you've plaited enough space that your bells won't touch, thread on another. Repeat this until the 9th bell. Tie this one on with a strong ending statement such as "In this Home!" Or "So mote it be!"
Trim your excess thread (unless you want straggly-chic). Plop it on your door and thank it in advance for its work. You're done!
witchy tips for the adhd student
School is starting up again and I know that it’s a hard time for a lot of ADHD students like myself! So here’s some tips, mundane combines with otherworldly, to help get you through the term! ***But please do not use these instead of taking your medication. It’s there to do it’s job, these are there to help it along the way.***
use blue for focus, light purple/lavender for knowledge, and yellow for memory in your highlighters for your notes. not only are these witchy correspondences but using different coloured highlighters will help organize your notes, and help you remember them better.
drink black tea while you’re studying or in class. caffeine is said to help us ADHDers focus since it’s a stimulant, but it’s also said to banish boredom.
keep azurite, fluorite, sapphire, or smoky quartz in your pocket to fidget with in class. these are all stones that help with focus and learning so their correspondences will help you while you have something to fidget with.
burn incense associated with focus and learning while you study, if you can. the scent will also help you remember and associate with what you’re studying.
spell jars for focus and memory are great to keep in your pocket/bag
@orriculum had this fabulous idea for charmed pens which would be great for studying and give you something to fidget with in class
write sigils for focus/memory in the back of your notebooks
lastly and most importantly and not very witchy, STUDY IN INTERVALS. the BIGGEST AND MOST HELPFUL TIP my psychologist ever gave me was study in intervals, study for 10-15 minutes, take a break for 10-15 minutes. executive dysfunction and the adhd mind does not like the idea of sitting down for hours and doing one thing. so don’t even try. it won’t work. you’ll be much more successful with studying in intervals.
Apollo gave me the gift of sunshine for my birthday!!
so it’s my birthday today and for the last week or so it’s been all doom and gloom here and i haven’t felt His presence for a bit until today. i looked out the window and it was bright and sunny and the sun was shining into my room and i was in that sunbeam and i felt warm and cosy but not the usual warm and cosy, like this was His way of saying “i’m still here kiddo, keep going, happy birthday” it was sunny for the entire day which was Nice™️. i hadn’t communicated with Apollo for a while because Depression so i thought he had left me but it was really comforting to know that he was still there looking out for me!!
okay this has gotten really long and gushy TLDR: i thought apollo left me but he reminded me that he’s still looking over me today by giving me a full day of warm sunshine in winter on my birthday
